Well, we are back from Montreal and celebrated our holidays with our family… It’s been a while since we have been back so it was nice.  I was especially thrilled to see my grandmother :).  She means the world to me and I so wish I could see her more often 🙁

Ok, now I am getting all TEARY. hmph.  So let’s talk about happy things like BELLARIFIC SUNDAY! LOL

Hoya sistahs! How I have missed you and writing my muse! We are still in Montreal and will be returning tomorrow so if you have not submitted your bellarific Friday entry with back to school theme you still have a chance to email it to me!

Sistahs!! how was your weekend?  We had a dark and dreary weekend here.. spent time with good friends and I decided I NEEDED to start sketching..now sistahs, you know I can’t draw.. you know all my artists act as my hands so this was a big JUMP for me… I know it isn’t great but I had SO MUCH FUN doing this.. the kids were a bit neglected ..LOL just kidding.. they sketched and coloured right there next to mama

So this is what came out..LOL.  On Saturday I met MABEL.. and the rest of her sistahs started coming out of my pencil too..it was CRAZY!!  I really wanna call her Mabel and her FABLES.. She will always have something to say (something INSPIRING.. something EMPOWERING).. just like her MAMA (me)… so here was my first try at Mabel..  I just love her :).  The background is collaged with my FAVORITE papers .. the new CRATE PAPER RESTORATION line.. OMG I LOVE THAT LINE!!!

Today was Tyler’s first day of Grade 3.. OMG where does time go??? He reported that he had a fantastic day! PHEW.. so for all you mamas whose kids just went back to school today, I hope it went well and for all those who started last week, I hope everyone is adjusting!

You gotta take a looky at Dena’s latest creation.. I swiped it even before it got to her  BLOG.. WOOOHOOO!

Dena used the gorgeous BELIEVE TREE by Valentina Ramos.. I am trying to show people how AMAZING a stamp can be on a layout.. How PERFECT it can fit and match the paper!  A stamp is the PERFECT embellishment on a scrapbook page because you can ink it in any colour you would like to match the rest of your page!

you’ll see the shipping tag poking out on the left.. and a portion of our “I AM SCRIPT”.. GORGEOUS!!

Dena used the MARTHA STEWART MONARCH BUTTERFLY PUNCH and the MARTHA STEWART 3 in 1 BUTTERFLY PUNCH she also stamped the MAYA ROAD CHIPBOARD LETTERS with the SCRIPT STAMP!

I was so proud when I saw Dena BEAMING at me while she was showing it to me..LOL.  She is one of the BESTEST scrapbookers out there I must say.

Hiya sistahs!

Just wanted to show you a canvas I dabbled with last night.  I love spray inks.  and I mean LOVE spray inks.. and so does Jayden..LOL.  Every night we go into our disaster basement and just paint and spray and journal.  She asked me yesterday “mommy, is painting good for you?”.. I said “do you feel better after you paint?” she said “yes!” so I said “then YES! it IS good for you!”.. LOL so cute

So here is the 1st of 3 canvases in this “series”.. LOL can’t believe I just said that.  This style is inspired by Dina Wakley.. I just love her and her “graffiti” style.. she is awesome.  I  have taken 3 of her classes and loved EVERY one of them!
