I am sitting here staring STRAIGHT ahead cuz I cannot move my head :(.. I am not sure what is going on but all i can tell you is that I have been in pain for the last few days… perhaps it is the stress of trying to get everything together for CHA and for preparing for another HUGE thing that will be happening in 2011.. can’t let any of that LEAK though…. but I promise.. it’s a GOOD thing!

Just a little personal thing 🙂

I went this morning to Tyler’s assembly in school.  I was floored.  I know that there is a “crisis” in America about schooling, quality of education etc.. but what I witnessed at this assembly was astounding.  The whole assembly was about PAYING IT FORWARD and each child came up and spoke about how THEY paid it forward… Children are being taught to be empathetic, sympathetic and HUMAN.  This is one important thing to me.  Then all the children talked about what their wishes were and then they ended it with a message.  AND THE MESSAGE was..

How would the world be if the following things were adhered to:

no poverty,

free education for all

peace

love

friendship

no bullying (had to lol at this one)

it was phenom.  And they sang  it to “IMAGINE”.  I was riveted, and teary eyed.. I must admit

Here’s the glee version of IMAGINE which I actually watched last night on Dvd and this too made me cry :(.. Yes.. a little sensitive I am… and also a BIG dreamer.  I decided to use the version showing the hearing impaired choir starting the song off.. this was what made it so REAL.  One of the comments I read under this video was :

“This song really made me wonder what my brother goes through? everyday not being able to hear music. the thing that surrounds us everyday. But he always tells me that he can’t hear music but he still belives that he can see music and the joy it brings to so many people in the world.”  It’s so true.

I promise back to stamping tomorrow 🙂

hiya sistahs!  Hope your week started off great!  We are buried in SNOW… I can’t complain because I think I am one of the very few who LOVES snow.. I love watching it fall… makes me all warm and cozy inside…

I have made a CRAZY RASH INSANE decision last week… WHAT you ask?  I decided that Stamping Bella should have a BOOF (booth ) at CHA… OMG am I NUTS?  Yup… that means I have to make a catalog (GRRRRR… can you hear me crying?) arrange details etc..  Well, we all know that I only work under pressure.. so I think it will be amazing!  Once I find out my booF number, I will announce it and I hope you come and visit!  I will also be doing MAKE and TAKES at the boof (Yep still crazy).. but it will be FUN!  I will MAKE IT FUN!    I will also be doing a retailer educator event the day before with Paula from the CCHA..  I think there are a few spots left :).  Check it out HERE.  But you must be a member of CHA first before you apply 🙂 .  My name is not yet on the list but will be added any day now

Ok so aside fro the usual stamping I have decided that in da BELLA HOUSEHOLD, every sunday we watch MOOOVIES (the kids and I- or SEASON 1 GLEE..LOL) and we do a crafty project.  Tyler is DYING to love doing it ( but I know he really doesn’t..LOL) and JAYDEN wants to DIP herself in paint..LOL.  So I was inspired by Alisa Burke’s blogpost where I noticed a canvas hanging in the background).. I fell in love with it and decided to make it a family project.  This is what we came up with.  Now I LOVE graffiti.  I appreciate Graffiti.. I believe in everyone being able to express themselves in whichever way they would like to (but I do HATE that graffiti artists choose buildings and private property to display their art 🙁 ).. Actually there are some schools of thought that deem graffiti art as a fine art.  I LOVE it… if you would like more inspiration on graffiti, you can check out Dina Wakley and Roben-Marie smith.. they are true inspirations to me.  And then you incorporate your stampies in there and you are good to go..!  I have stamped on canvases lots lately and I LOVE IT!  I also really love GOLDEN products.. this is a great kit to start with if you don’t have a starter kit yet

I wanted a canvas at the doorway of our home.. which tells people what the BELLA family is all about.. the kids had fun coming up with our THIS IS WHERE theme.. aside from BODILY FUNCTIONS that they had to include and scream out when we were thinking about this LOLOL.. we came up with GOOD ONES!  We LOVED making this piece and it really means a lot to all of us 🙂

I think we covered a little bit of DIS and a little bit of DAT today no?
