Hiya sistahs!  hope your week is going well so far…  We are in a HEAT WAVE here… thank goodness for air conditioning!

Ok, so this post really isn’t about card making or journaling or mixed media or scrapbooking.  It’s about the NEXT best thing of course!  MAKEUP.  YUP.  MAKEUP.  I am SO thankful that American Idol is over so I don’t have to stare at JLO any more…LOL.  She is stunningly beautiful.. I mean that skin!  IMPECCABLE!

And that is when the QUEST OBSSESSION began.  The quest to look GLOWY.  to look DEWY… to look FRESH.. basically to look like JLO..LOL.

So Helenabella decided that she wanted to join me in this journey obssession… and so it started.

me: Helen, want me to look for glowy stuff online for us so we can look like JLO?

Helen: yup.. let me know where to pick the stuff up and I will be there… LOL

so this was our first product bought

worked pretty well but we weren’t J-LOey enough (LOL) (and I didn’t want to admit it but wasn’t sure which layer on my face this went on… over the foundation? under the moisturizer? over the moisturizer? under the blush? LOL)… Helen immediately left to purchase these for us.. it was so funny.. I could see the dust under her shoeZZZZ!

So Helen and I accepted our GLOW with this product for a while but we still secretly tried other products… shhhhhh

I went to Mac and I found the PEARL cream BASE that I Was told can go on cheeks to highlight on eyebrows etc

this worked pretty well but still needed more of a glow..

so THEN I discovered at MAC something NEW and glowy…

it’s this LIQUID POWDER which I absolutely ADORE.. it’s dry but it feels cool and wet when you put it on as it is made with 70% water… OHHH I LOOOOOOOVE IT!!! and I KNOW to put this over my foundation 😉

but FIRST I found a foundation BOOSTER that gives you a glow too!! also from Mac  just mix a few drops for more DEW… these are called LUSTRE DROPS.. LOVE THEM

Ok… so you should probably be able to SLIDE off my face from a glo..LOL

Then, helenabella texted me that I have to buy a new GLOWY eyeshadow available in 16 colours…..GRRRR

BIG BOUNCE eyeshadows…

Why is makeup, cardstock, paint, stamps, glue, patterned paper,  accessories, embellishments etcc

*sigh*

please excuse the condition of my hands… this is what happens when you get “down and dirty”… I recommend using a Barrier Cream.. (invisible care, gloves in a bottle are a few creams).. these protect your hands and make for easy cleanup!

I am absolutely IN LOVE with mixed media right now.. I can hide in my basement AHEM studio and forget about life outside..LOL… so take a looky at part 2 and 3 of our mixed media extravaganza and let me know what you think!

I lost track of time.. it’s been a CUH RAZY day in bellaland… my life will be  full of rubbah cuttin’ this LONG weekend.. my mom is coming to visit, trying to find a new car (i think we did), journaling, stamping… LOL

So for Jayden’s birthday we went to BUILD A BEAR for the first time.. WHAT a phenomenon.. We had a great time!!  I can see another collection comin’… hmph
