Here is ROBINABELLA’S rendition of BIG SHOES by Mo Manning.  Here’s a little story about the BIG SHOES (I better rush before the CANE comes and grabs me away! LOL).. I was out for dinner with Ryan and all of a sudden I look at him and scream “NO ONE CAN FILL YOUR SHOES!”.. he looks at me blankly and says.. “UMMM what the HECK (another word was used) are you TALKING about?”.. I look at him and say OMG.. sorry.. and emailed MO this quote.  And take a look what she came up with!  Brilliant as usual.  This would be a GREAT card for someone leaving their job, retirement, promotion, friendship, moving away.. VERY versatile! (comes with the sentiment of course!)

Now here’s  another one  of our UPTOWN GIRLS for this release!  Uptown Girl  MADISON has a MARGARITA.. colored in by Lindabella (her Bellarific Friday card) can you not SHOVE those boots in your MOUTH they are so cute?

Ok so that’s the end of my sneaky peeky’s!  The rest of the release will be ON MONDAY.. and of course, since it has been so long, there may just be a little surprise coming along with it.. if you BEHAVE.. LOL

I also wanted to show you PAULABELLA’S ARTIST at HEART collection… Our very own in house BRILLIANTLY TALENTED teacher CHRISTINE-abella has an amazing class coming up this month (They may be all full but check the calendar and call to see if there is space!).. the second I showed her these stamps.. she absolutely FREAKED , FELL IN LOVE, and started CREATING!  (Christine was actually part of the inspiration process!)  Look at these masterpieces!  Paulabella has been under my nose for HOW MANY YEARS and she never ever showed me what can “fall out of her pen”?? the nerve!  These images below are from her SUMMER DAYS quad.. 4 stamps including  perspectives of a porch swing, porch steps, an adirondack chair and a picket fence.. OMG these are HEAVENLY!!  (have I mentioned how much I love this release yet? LOL). Paulabella’s images in these frames fit a two inch square punch OR you can handcut them (which I do) as the lines are purposely not perfect.. they are so VERSATILE! (if you squint, you may see them better..LOL)

Now here’s another sneak peek of PAULABELLA’s other quad called FLORAL FRAMES.. shhh.. this MAY JUST BE our make and take I made for SCRAPFEST in MINNESOTA! (wink wink).. sorry for the photo.. it was done on my iphone ! 3 other phenomenal flowers in frames in this collection!

Sistahs sistahs SiStaHs.. where have you been all my lifeeeeee?  I am thrilled with the comments and according to my stats there are LOTS more sistahs lurking and not saying a PEEP (get it? PEEP?  there ARE some PEEPS coming too ya know!).. So YANK YOURSELVES OUT of lurkdom and place a comment.. I promise I don’t bite.. ok maybe I do.. when I am hungry.. which seems to be a LITTLE TOO OFTEN of late (lol on the OF LATE..)… how these things come out of my mouth/fingers, I don’t know….

ok so we have been happy so far with our uptownies.. OUI OUI?  Let’s see a couple more today.. one more tomorrow just to spice things ups.. I will also feature PAULABELLA’S “ARTIST @ HEART”  line of stamps.. you WILL FAINT.  I love this release.  *sigh*.. I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW I say it every time.. and I MEAN it every time…  EACH stamp means something to me.. I guess that’s why I am so passionate and “noisy” about it…

Here is UPTOWN GIRLS CHELSEA and LAUREN eating their SUSHI… (I LOVE sushi).. and take a looky at the sentiment and what a PHENOM job CATHABELLA did with this stamp!!

Now let me just ‘splain the sushi thing… I LOVE sushi.. I know that it is a hit and miss thing and some people don’t like it.  The reason I chose Sushi, is that SUSHI goes beyond the food itself.. Sushi is a “social” food.. so Chrystal really got the image right.. it’s more the “catching up” or the “gabbing” that goes with the sushi than the sushi itself!  Ok speaking of Gabbing.. remember on the Muppet show I think it was Fozzy bear (OMG remember him???) used to tell jokes and this HUGE CANE would appear and drag him away? LOL.. I feel that that Cane is coming to get me.. so I will shuDDup now

Finally, Here is CATHABELLA’S outstanding cardabella.  I mean SERIOUSLY. hmph.

Ok and now for a BONUS card.. here’s PAULINEABELLA’s AMAZING card!!  This uptown girl’s name is POSH.  I am not quite sure why.  Oh ya.. Denabella named her… and the name stuck.  She is kinda poshy, no?  I think she is GORGEOUS.. for a birthday card.. even Christmas you can dress her up!  All occasions.. she is just so pretty.  I think I am gonna have Chrystal (lulu artist) come over and remove some lines from me and add a few.. HOW AMAZING would that be if we could really do that! LOL.

I held off INNOCENTLY knowing that she would work on the one I sent her.. and BINGO.. she fell into my trap!  I received an email from her saying while I LOVEEEE this image and it’s one of my favorites, I really love the OTHAH one that you had.. so can you send me that one too???!?!?  HOOK, LINE, and SINKER… I said SURE!!  So now we will be able to DROOL over 2 images colored by LINDABELLA…

don’t you just love Billy Joel?  Ok.. NUFF of the small talk… I couldn’t hold it in any longer…  JUST COULDN’T

It’s been a LONG time since BELLA was born.. and Bella had these relatives that we knew NOTHING about?!?!  They just happened to find us about 2 months ago and we have been “tweaking” them ever since ( I wish I could be TWEAKED.. just a little eraser here… a little marker there… more eraser… you get the picture..LOL)..

See the problem I have is that I can’t really draw.  I have all these ideas in my head that my artists can get out for me on paper… they are my “hands” shall we say.. now don’t get me wrong.. my artists have minds of their own and they come up with the MOST amazing ideas without MOI.. but when I have a thought and I need to get it out, I know which artist to contact and they so KNOW me.. they UNDERSTAND me.. it’s so strange!

So the vision I first started out with which has been put on hold for  a little while was the forties romantic sketchy blurry supermodel… mystical… eerie… and beeYootiful!  But she couldn’t “come out” of our heads and hands at that time and plus it was a little too fancy shmancy for da bella. BUt she is coming.. when da bella feels SHMANCIER.

So then, I went to the opposite end of the spectrum… LOL.. of course.. why can’t I be GREY sometimes?  Why is it always black or white? hmph

So my next vision was kind of a model.. a little awkward (LOL) to make her real… very pretty.. and kind of yuppyish.. MODERN… CONTEMPORARY.. and FUN.  I also made these stamps LARGER as a statement.

So here is a sneak peek of our new UPTOWN GIRLS series.. I FORCED-ED Paula to colour her in late last night cuz it would be a MIRACLE that I plan something ahead of time.. and she willingly agreed to do this for me… so here she is..

You won’t believe who drew these…  LULU’s artist Chrystal!  How versatile and amazing is she?  I am SO proud of these images I have to say.. she depicted the exact look I wanted.. She’s an uptown girl with a human side… Fashionable yet awkward, Confident yet a little pigeon-toed, and well, she just wants to be your friend and hang out.  I think she art journals too! LOL.. and makes cards of course.. VERY well rounded, our UPTOWN GIRL is.

Our Release is going to be on Monday (but check back cuz I may not be able to wait..LOL).. and I would love to hear from you.. so If you like CLAUDIA… leave a comment here and I will be sure to send you one 🙂

and I really have to say.. I RE-HEALLY look forward to the entries!  It’s getting as exciting as BELLARIFIC FRIDAYS!! First of all, I am SO happy that I see new names joining our group every week and it is SO worth my time to post  these as I find them SO inspirational!  Second of all, I AM THRILLED that my book is filling up and getting “CRUNCHY”.. and THIRD of all, I am THRILLED that this is starting to take off so that I can have some accomplices.. hehehehe.. I even have some sistahs who couldn’t stop at one spread and had to submit two!  THAT makes me SHMAPPY 🙂

Ok.. let’s GO!  Our theme this week was da DOODLE.  I hope you had fun doodling and that you make many more pages using this technique!

So whaddya think of this weeks doodly theme?  I AM IN LOVE with all the entries!  thank you sistahs for participating!  makes me soooo verrry happy!

Now next week’s theme?  COLLAGE.. what is collage?  Basically taking any “FODDER” (paper stuff.. ephemera.. receipts.. take out menus, business cards.. scrappy paper), FABRIC,  IMAGES that make you happy and gluing it on to a page!  You can use PPA glue or a glue stick.. both work.. the benefit of PPA is that you can seal the top as well!  Now don’t stop just at collage if you don’t wanna… you can use the other elements that we have used here on AJ monday!  You can combine it with crayons and doodles as well!  Build your page!  Layer your page!  And here is another wonderful nugget.   If you are looking for GREAT ROYALTY FREE ephemera, go subscribe to www.graphicsfairy.blogspot.com..  She has AMAZING images that you can print out and use as collage pieces!  FANTASTIC!  So have fun with this challenge.. it is due by next sunday so PLENTY of time to spend money, and collect receipts to glue in your journal…LOL

Sorry for the late post.. time got the better of me… I am trying to plan for ARCHIVERS’ SCRAPFEST in MINNESOTA MALL OF AMERICA for September 16-18th.. who is coming to see me??? Paulabella and Lindabella will be joining and teaching 3 SOLD OUT CLASSES each and I am preparing for 3000 make and takes.  Yes.. you heard me right.. 3000 make and takes!!  I am hoping that you will come and visit me and say hi and keep me company :).  Paula, Linda and I are hoping for some time to put on our roller blades and shop throughout the mall!! LOL re. roller blades!!
