Hiya sistahs!

I don’t know about you but I can’t sit still when watching tv.  My favorite show right now is X factor.  It’s the type of show where I get depressed when it’s over 🙁

So what I do if I would like to take a break from cutting rubber ?  I DOODLE.. I ZENTANGLE in my moleskine (we call it a “moley” in Bellaland).. It’s very relaxing..soothing..mind numbing..  Sometimes you need a mind numbing activity no?

So I decided once my doodles were done, to use my copics.. play around with combos.. I whipped out my Copic Swatch Book (WHICH I LOVE) and while I was watching my show I just coloured away and  I was VEEEERRRRY clever and marked down the colors I was using.  I was wanting to find colors I NEEDED to have in my journaling kit on the go.. and I like these that I chose.. if anyone sees a combo that they recommend that isn’t there, please leave me a comment! would love to try it out on my next doodle page!

Honestly sistahs.. I don’t have a muffin top.. i have a MEATLOAF top..LOL.. I am turning 40 in June and I need to shrink back to my prebirth weight.. I mean the weight BEFORE I was born..LOL.

So are you in?  I am always interested in hearing about other people’s diets, plans, ways of life..

Why can’t it be that the more I eat, the more I lose.. I would be a WAIF..LOL

I hope you had a great weekend!  It was gloomy and rainy so we cuddled all weekend.. and I cut rubbah WHILST cuddling 🙂

So the theme this week was adding a PHOTO to your journal page.   I am trying to give different themes to help you explore different avenues and see what style you like best.  I am still exploring but having a great time doing it!!

USE YOUR FAVORITE COLOR on your page.. Do all versions of that color.. add white, make it lighter.. add black , make it darker.. find pieces of collage with that color… fabric… anything that doesn’t MOVE in that color, stick it down.. use pencils, paint, watercolor, crayons, oils..   let’s see your creations!

and I am EXHAUSTED.. it’s been a crazy couple of weeks and I am just feeling it now.  I need a good COLLAPSE and then I will feel all better.  I SO needed the page I did today..  It was necessary for my health! LOL

Now for the tidbit of GREAT news!

Well peeps, the time has come to unveil just a little portion of what our “surprise” is.    If any of you shopped at the URBAN SCRAPYARD a couple of years ago and met Angela Urbano, the owner and artistic director, you will know her very well.  While designing the most PHENOM clean, graphic layouts to working with Quickutz and designing one of their most popular dies sold to date, Angela is one talented SISTAH!

Angela was just the person I needed to enter my life when she did.  I received a random email from her out of the blue.. I was wondering why..   I was basically looking for “her” without knowing that it would be “her” if you understand what I mean.  She filled a very big void, both in the store and in my personal creative life.

From being  friendly retail competitors to our first meeting a few weeks ago, we became fast friends.  Our two worlds literally collided.  LITERALLY.  Our styles, our demeanor, our LOOK (LOL).. we are complete opposites.. but there is ONE COMMON THREAD that runs through both of our veins. our bodies. our souls.  And that is PASSION.  Passion for life, for the arts, and most of all a passion for creativity.

Angela will be teaching at Stamping Bella.. sharing her passion with all of you.  Sharing her style.. Sharing how her life has changed in the last few years.  You will be thrilled to meet her, reunite with her.. and learn from her.  I am so excited to have her so close J

But it does not end there.  We are both working together on something new and exciting.  Stay TUNED.
