I’m sharing my last card and video with the new Oddball Witchy Sistahs. That said…I adore them, so I’m plotting ways to use them again soon. Witches aren’t just for Halloween!

Hey friends!
We are in that Halloween home stretch so of course I’ve got one last spooktacular scene for this week’s Scenic Saturday card. I’ve been having so much fun mixing and matching old and new stamps that I decided to do it once again. This time around I inked up Tiny Townie Piper at the Pumpkin Patch and paired her with a twist on the new Tales from the Haunted Mansion stamp for a Halloween card that is too sweet to be scary.
Piper and her pumpkins were stamped first and because I wanted them to have a more Halloween vibe rather than Fall, I grabbed a 0.1 black multiliner pen and drew in some simple faces, transforming the pumpkins into glowing jack o’lanterns. The Haunted Mansion also got its own transformation when I chose not to ink up the books that the house rests on before stamping it into the background. This left me with just the mansion that I could then color into a spooky moonlit landscape. Omitting part of the original image on one and adding extra details to the other are both easy and effective ways to expand the uses for the stamps you already have in your crafty stash and have them help you tell a different story with them. Once Piper, the Haunted Mansion and the landscape were all colored in using Copic markers, I masked them both off before airbrushing the sky and full moon into the background. The sentiment from the Frightful and Delightful Sentiment set was stamped onto a word bubble die cut and glued just above Piper so that it would look like she is peeking out from behind those jacks with a friendly greeting. Hopefully this card has shown you how small changes here and there can have a big impact on the cards that you create. 🙂
Stay crafty my friends!

I’m almost done colouring all of the halloween and autumn stamps from the latest release. I can’t believe how quickly the past month has gone though! Soon I’ll be moving on to the Christmas stamps…but in the meantime, let’s enjoy a little more spooky autumnal fun!
Those Oddball Witchy Sistahs have my heart. Their outfits are just such fun to colour, and of course those deadpan expressions just get me every time.

I’ve got a few more autumn and Halloween cards to share with you before the month is out! Hopefully you’re enjoying the seasonal colouring and crafting fun, before we launch into all of the Christmas makes in November!
Today I’ve got a card and video featuring one of our new Kristin Farnsworth Collection stamp sets: Black Cat Magic.
The cat on his little stack of books and the cauldron come as two separate stamps in the set, so you can create whatever scenes you would like!

Hello everyone! This week I’m sharing a seasonal card in autumn colours and featuring a super sweet hedgehog, Sweet Mushroom Hedgie! I combined him with the Mushroom Border stamp.
I created my scene with the border in the foreground, so I stamped it first, then I masked the mushrooms and stamped my hedgehog. To make sure I have a combination that works, I always test the scene on a piece of draft paper in my stamp press without even masking it, to make sure my character is placed exactly how I want it.
I coloured everything in Copics, stamped a sentiment from the Autumn Sentiment set, added a bit of texture stamps and a piece of washi tape. I matted my image on white cardstock, coloured with one of the Copics I used in my image to have a perfect colour match.
Copic markers used:
Background: B000, 00, YG01, 03, 05
Hedgehog: E50, 51, 53, R20, W4, 6, 7
Big mushroom: E04, 41, 43, 44, 56, 59
Other mushroom: E15, 18, 35, R35, 37, 59, Y13, YR00, 02, 04, 24, 27
Blades of grass: YG67
Have a fab weekend!
