Hiya sistahs,

well, I am trying to pack an art bag to keep me busy in between family in Montreal..LOL.  Already bought my magazines for the car and some noise cancelling earphones..LOL.. think i’ll need them?

I am finally allowed to post Vicki Boutin’s layout using her own stampies.. it’s amazing.. I wasn’t allowed before today as it was used for an event.. so here it is!

she’s using TWIRLY BIRDS, her IN SO MANY WORDS set (which by the way I have been using NON STOP.. they are so amazing to complete a card, layout, journal), and her LOVE NOTES BACKGROUND in the circles!  SOOO clever and GORGEOUS!

its soooo GORGE and makes me so happy!

Now for my card using Vicki’s IN SO MANY WORDS SET.. I told you I loved it :).. I also used my FUNKY RECTANGLE SHADOWS set. I used my new DISTRESS MARKERS  and coloured my shadow stamp.. i used 3 different colours and just randomly used the brush side and “painted” the color on the stamp.. the great thing is that these markers don’t contaminate from one another.. so I really had fun painting the color with one less worry 🙂 .  I used 2 different techniques.. just to play around..  the first one I coloured, I “huffed” on the stamp to moisten it and stamped it.  I  then took my waterbrush and blended together.. YUMMMMMY.

Second technique was that I colored it in with the markers, and then misted with water..and then stamped.. I LOVE these markers.. I love the unpredictability of the water and the ink together.. YUMALISH!

Yes.  I admit it sistahs.  I am addicted to ripping vintage paper apart, tearing, cutting and sniffing *ahem* I mean using a glue stick.. I’ve mentioned it before but I will mention it AGAIN… Collage is CATHARCTIC!  and using your stamps as your focal point is even MORE fun just you wait and see ‘ENERY ‘IGGINS (henry higgins).. just you wait and see!

So here is a second “installment” of my little 4*4 series… I am in LOVE with Jane Davenport’s  silhouettes.. they make me so very happy 🙂

the paint…the cigar label.. the vintage text.. the vintage advertisements… yum!!  I used Jane Davenport’s JANE GIRL stamp..

here’s another little collage I did on a very vintage flashcard.. I used JANE’S BLOW A KISS STAMP.. see how versatile these stamps are?  Canvases, art journals, cards..  The collage tells a story.. I am the jane girl (can you see the similarities?) and I LOOOVE playing bingo, gambling etc…except I NEED to save $$ (hence the discount coupon).. I know lots of stuff going on but it means something to me 🙂

Yesterday I snuck out with my twinny friends (hi leslie and lorie) and we went “junking”.. I have been looking forward to our date all week and it did NOT dissapoint.  Got some goodies that I will make photo worthy and post on Monday.  Is it wrong that I wanna go every day? LOL  .. no time for DAT though.. we are all busy planning for scrapfest.. OMG.. lots of goodies planned!
