Hiya sistahs!

Hope you were inspired by yesterday’s post … Today is a lovely snowy day here in Toronto..  I was whining yesterday that we need snow and someone listened!  SOOOO happy.. (from inside..LOL).   So yesterday I decided to roll over my glasses and broke the arm :(… so I was in such a panic because I am not the type to own a “spare” pair.  So off I went to Costco to find a frame my lenses would fit in.. and I did.  But not without a struggle.  Forget trying to find a pair of nice glasses.. let’s go a step back.  TO FIND PARKING IN A SNOWY LOT ON  DEC 21st.  IMPOSSIBLE.. there were fights going on etc.. I am NOT one for crowds..LOL.. so I went DIRECTLY to optician and out I went.. hmph.  Ok I feel better now.

I wanted to share our new packaging :).. very simple.. and it tells my story 🙂  what do you think?

Ok so now down to BIDNISS.. This week’s last minute theme was a “THINKING OF YOU” type of card for our very own Cathabella who has been under the weather and we know good things are in store for her in the new year 🙂  We love you Cathabella! and guess what?  We have some “GUEST STARS” cards to show their love for Cath as well!

Hiya sistahs.. sorry I have been MIA

It’s been a cuh razy last few days with me hibernating and trying to give the best holiday gift I can to my sistahs.  What do I mean, you ask?  Well.. I have been FINALLY going through all 600 images one by one , checking inventory, age etc.. and decided to basically “give” them away! LOL.  I am in a purging kind of mood and have lots of new ideas for 2012 and, well, I need to get rid of stuff to bring more stuff in.. capiche?  the prices are SO good that I even feel like buying them..LOL!  So I hope you all take advantage of the slashed prices.. you can find gorgeous stamps for as low as 0.50!  CRAZY I know.. but I am a CUHRAZY type of sistah!  LOL

Now this does not necessarily mean they are discontinued but once they are gone, it may take a while for these to come back if they do..  So there is limited stock.  I would definitely encourage you to take advantage!

So I was walking around the pharmacy last week and of course I look in the “CURLY GIRL” section looking for a miracle..LOL.. and I spot this.  Now when I saw it, I could care less if it worked or not.. I just had to have it and you will understand why LOL.

See why I needed to have it? LOL.  And actually it is quite a good product but I need to slather on other stuff to look remotely unkinky… I can share about my regime next week and I LOVE to hear about other curlies’ favorite products!

So this is our ALMOST final week in Bellarific Friday land for the year!!  We have decided that there will be ONE MORE.. and I will tell you more about it towards the end of this post k?

I just got back from Staples.. I was at the cash (the only one open) and I wasn’t even there 3 milliseconds where this older woman whips around and says to me:

“I smelled you when you came in and it is either perfume or laundry detergent and it bothers me” (CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?)

me: “I’m really sorry but I am not sure what you would like me to do.. there is one cash open and I need to pay”

her: “oh ok”

another cashier “WE ARE OPEN IN CASH 2”

me:  I will go pay at the other cash

Her:  Ok.

Listen, it’s not that I am insensitive.. and if i KNEW I would be with someone who was sensitive to smells, I would not wear anything.. but I’m SORRY… if you are out in public and have no control over what other people wear.. what gives HER the right to make ME feel uncomfortable.  ESPECIALLY when she KNEW I had no where to go???  I was so irritated and in disbelief.  What would YOU have done?  was I wrong to be aggravated at this smiling woman?  LOL

Ok I feel better now.
