grrrr. where does the time go?  I kiss the kids off to school and I am in a whirlwhind of a tizzy all day and now it’s 6:50pm.  Where has the time gone???? hmph.

So if you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen these already.. I just love instagram..  have I mentioned that lately? LOL.

So here are some things I have been up to..

I got Ryan addicted to marbling papers.. I had a “bee in my bonnet” to learn this ancient art.. and boy have we been having fun.  I just sit and watch Ryan do the work and I can see how much he enjoys it.. and the results are gorgeous!  These papers are phenom to back your images on cards, for collage, layouts.. you name it.  And the great thing about it is that each piece you make is unique.. there are NEVER two papers that come out alike.

And here is just one sample of what he has created.  It’s magical!  Isn’t it GORGE???

I have also finally finished one abstract piece that I love.  I have been thinking of selling my art as I have been getting many requests.. but I just can’t bear to sell them.. I put so much of myself in them that they become little extensions of me.. does that make sense?  But alas.. I would like to share a little bit of me with everyone 🙂

this piece is acrylic, tissue, ink, paint, vintage wallpaper, the kitchen sink..LOL.  It makes me happy

and I have been stamping up a storm, collaging etc.. will share more pieces with you…

What else to talke about.. hmmm.. HOW DO YOU LIKE THE NEW RELEASE?  I am getting such an amazing response so I am thinking you lovey it 🙂  and there are more Audrey’s and uptownies to come!

I am A TERRRIBLE Bloggista… I feel HORRIBLE but I must admit very quietly that I did enjoy some of my time off 🙂

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY new year to my sistahs… I can’t believe we have known eachother for 7 ish years already.. it’s crazy!  Would love to hear what you have been up to craft wise.. inspire me!

We had a great couple of weeks.. we went to Niagara falls with the kidlets and 2 other couples.. shopped, hung out.. ATE.  and ATE.. and ATE.. hmph.  So of course what do you think my next sentence is gonna be?

FRESHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!  LOL

new year, new diet, new promises… lots of resolutions.. that I ACTUALLY WROTE DONE and will tick off as I tackle them… learning new things, releasing the most amazing innovative images, (losing weight but thatsa given)… meeting new people, reuniting with old friends.. creating new products.. being nicer (lol), healthier, MINDFUL.. happier with “less”.. etc etc.  what are some of your resolutions?  hmmmm?

Ok so i mentioned a release didn’t I… Not only is it a release happening soon… but it is a release happening TOMORROW…LOL.. and if you have visited some of the baberoonis’ blogs, you may have gotten a glimpse or two… but I will show you a couple now k?  ready? k!

So I have been obssessed for a long time with Audrey Hepburn.  I think she was one of the most stylish, elegant and beautiful women ever to have existed and I wanted to create a line, or character that reminds me of her… and of course in Uptown Style.

When I showed our artist my favorite image of Audrey I couldn’t believe my eyes as to how she has replicated the “feel” of the image and of course “THE HAT”.  This hat has haunted me for years.. the double bow.. the GORGEOUSNESS.. and here is is…

So here is my inspiration for the following image…

is she not GORGEOUS?  is that hat not LUXURIOUS?… sigh…

Cathabella made a GORGEOUS card.. just puts you in da mood to put a little blushypoo on no? oh and that Audrey quote?  LOVE.  it is included in the new mounted set to be released tomorrow 🙂
