I love these stuffies more than words can say!

When I saw this image I INSTANTLY thought of making a card for my children… This would be perfect! And then I Started thinking more about it and realized that our “job” as a friend is to always have your friends’ back… even if you are watching your friend behind the scenes, you must always have their back.  So the symbolism to me.. of this little ellie, is that s/he is always behind you watching and taking care of you.. even if no one sees :).. At least that’s MY job with my bestie (she may not know it).. but I am ALWAYS watching out for her…. So PLEASE without further “ADO”.. meet I’ll-ALWAYS-HAVE-YOUR-BACK-STUFFIES.  Would love to hear how you interpret this image 🙂

Hiya sistahs!  Well we made it to day 5!  WOOHOO and you’re still sharing stories, leaving comments and making da bella OH SO HAPPY so please continue k?

Today we have 2 ADORABLE images to share again… I love them SOO SOO much. (Yes I say it all the time but it’s TRUE!!!!)

Ok brace yourselves.  I mean seriously. Have a seat.  I need you to meet someone VERY special.  She got all dressed up for the occasion.  Put on her Sunday’s Best (and today is sunday.. see? I’m NOT lying!! LOL)

The legs.. the feet.. the mary janes.. the BOW.  This would make ANYONE smile if they were a recipient of a card with MARMALADE on it.   At first she was named SWEET KITTY.  LOL.. IS that a BELLA-ish name?  I think NOT.  I looked at her and IMMEDIATELY named her Marmalade.  She LOOKS like a marmalade no?  Ok Ok without further ADO… MEET MY MARMALADE.. and her sentiment?  Amazing.  oui oui?

And now for our next image.. His  name is Sanford.  I’m really not sure why I named him Sanford.. Maybe because he has so much stuff around him he reminds me of that old show Sanford and Sons? LOLOL (Yes I am THAT old)…  This sanford ALSO has a sidekick.. that face on the mousie I COULD SQUEEZE.  It’s always so difficult to find a perfect birthday boy card.. Anothah day anothah……. 2 STUFFIES!  I think I just love saying the word STUFFIE.  ‘I ate so much I feel STUFFIED”.. lol… I need to have ALL the STUFFIES stamping bella has created… ya know.. a typical word we use each day, right?

OK now I’m getting SILLY (I’ve been up since 4am… couldn’t sleep. hmph hence the silliness.  please forgive moi)

OK now for a DEELISH stuffie named GIGI.  When I first looked at Gigi, she looked a bit pensive and well loved.  It’s so hard to send an I’m sorry card to begin with.. and everything I have seen for condolence or sympathy cards have been droopy flowers…. NOT THAT I DON”T LOVE DROOPY FLOWERS BECAUSE I DO so all the droopy flower activists, please don’t write me with your pleas for the rights of droopy flowers.. I AM A BOTANICAL LOVER! LOL

Gigi not only can be for an “i’m sorry” card.. she can also be a pick me up and cutesie card for hostesses.. for a thank you.. for teachers.. she is really a well rounded giraffe and told me that she absolutely does not want to be stigmatized as a sad gigi.  She also whispered to me, that it was a “candid” shot and she didn’t realize which expression was captured.  She also confirmed that she was VERY happy with the results 🙂

Hiya sistahs!  Suffering from STUFFIE OVERLOAD YET???? I hope not!

Today’s sneak peek covers my youth and all the years thereafter.  How oh how does a stamp cover such  a LONNNNG period of time you ask? LOL… well I will tell you.

Meet HONEYBEAR STUFFIES.   What would a release be without a WINNIE THE POOH quote?  I LOVE Winnie… LOVE winnie.  I mean LOVE winnie and have several sentiments in our collection with his quotes.  When I saw this image, my heart fluttered… the hanging foot.. the pot of honey.. the tree branch?  This takes me back 40 years when my mom used to read me alll the pooh stories.  And now this image?  I couldn’t help pairing it with one. Right?  There is also another theme going on in this stamp.. of COURSE Stamping Bella ALWAYS focuses around friendship and relationships.. that is what our company is about.  Do you notice the 2 types of friends here?  You have the adventurous careless friend who doesn’t really think of the consequences- ie. the one on the branch- ie. ME lol.. then you have the one on the bottom catching all the booboos that the top one is doing (my bestie LOL)… but really the careless one’s intentions are GOOD.. she just gets into trouble sometimes.. AHEM the bear does 😉  .. do you have a “partner in crime” like that?  are YOU the partner in crime?  would love to hear!

Now for our next Stuffie LEO the LION… Leo is me throughout my teenage and adult years.  ALWAYS TRYING TO BALANCE EVERYTHING!!!  Do you feel my pain sistahs???  This would be a great card for  people going through hard times.. trying to cope.. manage.. have a lot on their plates.. etc.. I LOVE LEO.

I am SO SO happy that you loved the beginning of the sneak peek.. that you loved my story about my stuffies AND especially that you shared yours with us.  That was my favorite part.  I love when an image can trigger some good memories.. and sad ones too.. those are also important ya know!  Please continue to share.. it’s what makes our sistahoood as special as it is!

Meet BUNNYPILE stuffies and KITTY AND MOUSIE LOVE TO CELEBRATE.  JUST LOOK at those bunny faces!!  I. can’.t even. (you’ll still learn about that in a later post)…  and the little mousie?? and the KITTY?  I can’t and I won’t (you will learn these too LOL)..  I also love the sentiments!  The one with Kitty and mousie is a “fill in the blank”.. you can get your “LETTERING” on and fill in the name of the person you are “singing” happy birthday to! Clever, n’est-ce pas?  I think so.  I dunno.. these stuffies make my heart all warm and snuggly.  They open up so many memories for me.  They look like illustrations from books that were read to me when I was a WEE little girl  (i was never really ‘wee’ but one can remember what one wants to right? LOL)..

I hope you love these as much as I do 🙂

Hiya sistahs!  Well today is our first “SNEAK PEEK” day! (it should be come a Bellarific HOLIDAY no?).. and I can already tell where this day is headed as I wrote my first post and LOST ALL CONTENT… grrrrrrrrr….  So here I go again 🙂

In case you are new here, and don’t know DA BELLA very well, you will learn that each release, and each image means something to me… whether it is a saying that I currently say.. whether it is an image of a memory of mine.. something that I love.. something that I want to look at every day.. etc.  This company.. these relationships I have forged for over 10 years and the memories that I make every single day is what inspires me.  Who else inspires me?  CHRYSTAL, my artist who has been with me for the last 7 ‘ish years.  She is my inspiration.  She is “MY HANDS” (that so doesn’t sound right grammatically LOL).. but really when we talk about images,  she draws what I think!  Who else can say they can do that LOL.    She understands me.. she “gets” me.  She is alongside me on this Stamping Bella adventure.  We’ve gone through pregnancies together.. through scares together  through good times and bad times.  She has always been there for me and for that I am SO GRATEFUL!! I love you Chrystal!!  Chrystal is so talented in everything she touches!  You have to check out the AMAZING jewellery she makes.. not only can she draw but she can do ANYTHING!

When I was younger, I did go through some hardships.. my parents divorced on my 12th birthday (don’t get me started LOL).. I started high school that same year (yes in Montreal, high school starts in grade 7!).. I moved homes… and I had to deal with this as an only child.  Not EASY.  I was lucky as I had a very vivid imagination which allowed me to deal with whatever came my way.  I also had my “STUFFIES”.. yes.  A bed FULL of stuffies.  These stuffies were my “friends”.. were always there for me and were just so well worn and loved.   After so many years of THINKING about this collection,  and finally after being able to talk about these memories to Chrystal, we were able to collaborate and come out with the CUTEST (if I do say so myself LOL) Stuffie line every to be created by man or woman kind (what would an EMILY post be without SOME sort of DRAMA lol).

So without further dramatic BLABLA, please meet a couple of new characters from my STUFFIE line.  k?  Ready?

Meet HARRY the STUFFIE loves HAPPY MAIL… Ummmm I mean the pointy “faux hawk” hairs in the middle of his head? his pudginess?  his willingness and need to make you happy?  That’s MY HARRY!
