Hiya sistahs!

Boy oh boy what an overwhelming response to yesterday’s sneak peek!  You Sistahs, totally blew me away!  I am SO SO happy you loved yesterday’s images.  Makes my heart sing!  What I’m also happy about is the overwhelming response about dies!   WOOHOOO!!!!

Ok you sitting down?

Because I need to introduce you to my VERY OWN… PERSONAL… Fairy Godmother named EDNA.  Yes.  EDNA.  The second I saw her, I knew she was mine.. and I knew that HAD to be her name..  I also knew she would watch over me.. and make me laugh.  Don’t tell anyone but..I even know what her voice sounds like.  She may be British.

I told you my stamps are HUMAN. 😉

Of course I have a story… When I was younger (there goes that 70’s inner child again).. I used to watch the Flintstones religiously.  And I LOVED the GREAT GAZOO.  Remember him?  He called Fred DUMB DUMB LOL.. but he always managed to be there when the 2 goofballs needed him. LOL.. I LOVED the great gazoo.  In case you don’t know him or need a refresher, here he is

Ok while he doesn’t LOOK like Edna LOL.. He still symbolizes what Edna is to me :)..

Another thing about Edna is that she is also pudgy and delicious.  For YEARS I have had sistahs asking me for a plus ‘ish size character.. I mean I am one LOL so why not have one in our arsenal?  The reason was that it took years to develop EDNA.  Once I saw her, I knew she would be the one to represent!  She is so sweet and not only does her character remind me of the gazoo.. but her “look” is kind of like a pinup girl.  I know.. what a combo LOL

You’re probably saying What the HECK can a pinup character crossed with the Great Gazoo look like?  I bet you’re worried.

Ok I cannot blabla anymore because I am WORRYING MYSELF.  and that’s NOT GOOD haha.

I mean.  HAVE YOU EVER?  THOSE LEGS?  her PROPORTIONS?  I can’t.  WILL NOT.  WON’T.  I want to eat HER.. never mind the cupcake.  I wanna colour her.. I wanna have her on my shoulder AT ALL TIMES.

Edna is a free spirit.  She doesn’t care what people think.. she gives her opinions when they aren’t asked for.

Happy Happy Valentines day sistahs!  Starting our sneak peeks on Valentines day is a bit ironic.  See,  come of this release was intended FOR Valentines day but we had a bit of a delay in releasing them on time… Now to be honest, to me , Valentines day, heart stamps.. hearts in general, LOVE.. should be celebrated every day.  I also think that if I look at all of my releases, they kind of go for Valentines day too LOL.. because that’s just who. we. are. 

I received an email from a sistah once saying.. I LOVE your stamps but do you think you can lay off some of the hearts? LOL… and I said…….. NO WAY HOSE-AY (Jose to be technical)… there is no way we will ever compromise our aesthetic.  This is WHO WE ARE.. We are an all year round Valentines day company LOL. ok?

So without further ADOOO, get a cuppa java.. and a kleenex for the dribble..  Our Baberoonis worked so hard on this release with me.  Elaineabella colored ALL of our images of course.  I hope you love them as much as I do 🙂

First up…

Meet Tiny Townie BECKY loves BUNNY WOBBLES.  I mean really.  Emily.. BUNNY WOBBLES?  There HAS to be a  story about them.  And ummm.. this is the story. When I was little I had a toy called the WEEBLES… someone told me they still exist.  the weeble’s catchphrase was “weebles wobble but they don’t fall down”.. yes I was a 70’s baby.

ANYWAY, I digress.  now when I saw these images, I thought WEEBLE right away.. but how can I call them WEEBLES without getting in trouble?  So I called them WOBBLES.  I showed THEM LOL.  Now you are just getting a glimpse of the wobble in this image but you will meet them up closer and more personal on a future sneak peek.  You will fall in love with them. PROMISE.

Now our tiny townies.. do I need to introduce them again?  I think they speak for themselves.  Enough BLABLA.. take a looky!

Hiya sistahs!

Just wanted to do a little review of what I have posted on social media this week 🙂  I know that some of you refuse to dive into the GIANT RABBIT HOLE of instagram and FB and Pinterest and I really don’t blame you sometimes LOL.. but sometimes I do.. I mean don’t you know what you’re missing? LOL.. just kidding.. you’re probably MUCH MORE PRODUCTIVE than I certainly am!

First I wanted to show you an amazing card I found on instagram yesterday.. I mean I flipped.. first because it’s one of my favorite stamp sets because it’s SO ME.. and second of all, it’s just a wonderful, simple and beautiful card.  Sometimes we don’t need to be fancy.  I quickly hijacked Jenny’s IG post and DEMANDED.. ahem asked nicely if I could share her card and she said yes!  You can find all of Jenny’s work on her BLOG

Here is her card using our CLOSEUPS- CLINK.  I LOVE our closeups!  The intention of these stamps was to just zone in on a moment on our lives.. a closeup of a moment, if you will.  And that’s what I love so much about them.  This card can be used for almost any occasion!  Birthday, retirement, promotion…. you name it 🙂  Someone mentioned that they used it for a divorce card.. hmmmmm. LOL.

Faye brought this card to life in my opinion.  GORGEOUS!
