Thanks so much for your warm wishes from my previous post.. I so appreciate it!  Can’t wait now to actually SEE the card! LOL.

Today was a great day.. went to my supplier with Nicky.  Thank goodness there was no snow for her to slip on BUT she did spill her BURNING tea all over herself in the car.. WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO WITH HER? *huge* giggles but thank goodness there was no man watching me laugh and shaking his head at me in revulsion (see post way back to refresh your memory).  I was driving and Nicky and I were SO bizzy talking about designing cards and what we need to NOT buy.  I had just finished telling Nickeroony that it took no time to get there this time and what do I do?  I get off the highway and go around this huge bend that does not seem familiar at all.  I ask Nicky if she knows where we are (insert HUGE swearword but I have to be clean here) and she says nooo.. then I realize that all the signs point to us going in the direction towards home.  How smart are we?  So we had another detour and our shorter journey ended up being not-so-short.

We finally got there and bought lots more goodies we don’t need and a crazy amount of prima flowers (ya you heard me).. I am at the point that if I see one more freakin’ flower, I will explode.  I say that now but when I see another waffled, ginghamed, ruffled, textured, PINK flower, I will say OMG I SO need that and will buy it.  Why does the Prima have such POWAH? Hmph.

What else?  Oh ya.. more brads, paper and got a tutorial on Coluzzle.. I have these wickedly cute Coluzzle templates in scallops and I think I destroyed all three cuz I have NO idea how to use it.. I actually think I flung it across my room.. So now I am desperately trying to find the pieces so that I can try it again (what’s WRONG with me?).

All in all a great day was had.. we were so excited with the papers and bellies we bought and I am now sitting at my desk so uninspired I cannot come up with one idea.  This reminds me of my favorite episode of bugs bunny (just bear with me…)  I refer to this regarding my kids all the time.  Not sure if any of you watched BB but it is the one with the frog.  This man finds a singing frog on a parkbench .. the frog sings “hello my lady hello my darling hello..” and kicks up his skinny legs and really works the bench.  The man who sees this has lots of greedy thoughts and decides to SNATCH this frog and open a theatre and CASH in by filling the seats!  Well everyone wanted to see a singing frog and they paid and filled up the theatre.  Sure enough.. the lights go out, enters frog center stage in tuxedo, cane and tophat and what comes out of his mouth?? “Ribbbbbbiiiiiiiiiiiittttttt”.  *LOL!*  no song, no verse, no prose, not even a musical note.  How’s that for pressure to perform?  It’s the same with my kids.. they can do the coolest tricks but when I put them in front of someone and tell them to do it, the audience gets the proverbial “RIIBBBBIIIIIT”.  The same with cardmaking.. in a sense.. Nicky and I brainstorm and blab and say “oh we could do this! If we only put this there!  we can POP this! Colour that! Cut this! Texturize that!  and what happens at the end when we gather our tools, our colors, our paper, our bellies and surround ourselves to make the most extraordinary card? “RIIIIBBBBIIIIIIIIIIT”

that I am about to *plutz* (a jewish term for wanting to pass out/faint etc).. I just love that word and any opportunity I can use it in, I will..LOL!  So here’s the scoop.  I was reading the Bella Post  today on SCS (ya I know I should be packing orders but I WAS WHILE I was reading the post) and someone mentioned that there was a Bella baby card on the editorial page of the new Paper Crafts “BABY CREATIONS” on newstands now! (Ok, I always wanted to say that too!).. So guess what I did? COME ON.. GUESS.. I DARE YA.  Yup, you’re right.. I drove like a mental case to Michaels, and  2 Chapters and got NADA.. saw NOTHING.. I was frazzled to say the least.  So what did I do?  I emailed my pal Megan at Papercrafts and asked her to spill the beans.. I mean come ON babycakes.. tell me what card where when how what?? FEED ME SEYMORE (from the little shop of horrors movie)…. so she told me.  UMMMMM YA she told me.  Do you know what she told me?  That our very own STACYFISHABELLA (Stacy Croninger-the chief BELLA editor in chief of Papercrafts) included the card in her opening editorial!  Can you believe?  Oh I am so excited I could plutz.  But I said that already, didn’t I?

Viagara sellers want to comment on my blog?  How about a Juicy Couture bag outlet?  Lasek eye surgery specialists?  Coach bag outlet?  Hmm a lovely mix, dontcha think?  I get SOOO excited to moderate a post (that means people are reading.. hint hint) and then I see who it is from?  how did they find me?  Do they know I buy from them?  LOL.. just kiddinK… That’s my thought for the day.  Other bloggers out there, let me know if you get the same SPAMOLA that I am getting! I would love to know that I am not the only ‘special one’

Here are a few updates for the week:

(1) Organization contest:  It could be over if no one else wants to participate?  Let me know if you still have comments.. I will keep it open for the next coupla days and then maybe end it on Monday

(2) RUBBAH:  If you see that you still have pending orders from last week.. no panic.  Actually, PANIC. (just kidding).. I have had a few rough days regarding my rubber order.. not that you need to hear this..LOL but I have received 2 inferior quality batches of rubber that I absolutely did not accept.. you probably wouldn’t have noticed the difference in quality but I certainly did and I made the decision to hold off and not ship until I received a quality I am confident about and happy with to ship to my sistahs.  Now don’t start panicking that you received inferior quality rubber in the past.  I have NEVER shipped anything that I personally don’t approve of.  The last couple of days were the only times I have ever ‘rejected’ an order… and you can always be confident that what you receive from me, is perfect.. if it isn’t, you all know I personally guarantee it.  So never worry when buying from a bella.

(3) storage:  GONNA BE READY IN 2 weeks!  (I am trying to bug them to get it earlier)

(4)  The Bella has something else up her sleeve regarding another type of storage but it is still in the works.. just wanted to keep you on your toes!

(5) do ya think I should introduce a bella?  hmmmmmmm

 Don’t ask how this name originated..LOL.  I actually called it a “SPLOOTCH” and Donna (part of my dear stamping group and UBER talented in design and color) decided that it was called a “skootch”.. perhaps she didn’t hear me? (didja Donna?) or perhaps she just really liked the word SKOOTCH  (I know it sounds perverse) but it has stuck ever since.  It is great for a background for under an image (will ask Donna to give me the SKOOTCH original for the website) or as a beautiful layer as Nicky designed.. see above.  I just love it.. It is great on glossy paper or regular.. YA THINK I LIKEY?  I DO I DO likey!  Ooh and of course I just checked to see if my water vase was on line.. Of course it wasn’t so here it is too!

Nothing like rushing at the last minute to create a card for a birthday party my son is going to… I JUST LOVE these high tops.. I use them for boys or girls, lacquer them, watercolor etc.. I have used this stamp a Kajillion times!  The paper I think is Basic grey but I cut off the name.. hmph.. so if anyone can help me out, let me know.. I use that paper also for all the birthday parties cuz of the numbaHs.  LOVE IT!  And the variegated ribbon I think ties the whole thing togethah!  The sentiment is mine too.. perhaps I should check if I have it on line before I post?  or would that be too logical?

read the comment from Helen, otherwise known as HELEH (when she mistyped her own name in a contest.. LOLOL) on my labeler post, YOU HAVE TO READ IT.. I was totally rolling on the floor laughing my tushy off.. She is hilarious!  I think I am going to turn the ‘throne’ over to her.. Helen, will you write my blog for me? LOL.  Ok, now that I have totally embarassed our wonderful Heleh, it is on to serious biDniss.

First, I VOWED never to put a picture of my children on the net as I just am petrified of everyone out there (paranoidabella) but I just COULD NOT resist this dynamic duo working on my room together.. (plus, my son is leaning back and you can’t see one feature-lol!)

Yes, I have survived the last coupla days (barely) and my room looks worse than before.. LOL.. Please forgive me as I am about to make up some words.  I am RUBBERMAIDED and STERILITED out.. if I see one more PLASTIC bin of some sort I am gonna FREAK out!  Thank goodness for PT.  If you don’t know PT, he is my new labeler.  I literally have labelled everything in sight and am on my second roll (those refills are bloody expensive!!!).  Ryan and I worked quite well together.. ahem I mean Ryan worked well by himself.  He kinda worked around me working shall we say but all in all, everything is IN the room, now it is the “throw -out- and- never- look- back- moment”.. I have realized how much money I have wasted in the past 5 years.. OY.  Scary.  But moving forward, I am sure to spend my money in a much more intelligent way (YA WHATEV..)

k, now that I talked about plastic containers and how “binned” out I am gonna talk about glass containers.   I went to IKEA and saw these amazing beautiful humoungo (sp?) mason jars with lids… so I had to try them out.  I bought 2 to try and then sent Hub to pick up 6 more..LOL AND to build shelves around these jars.  And of COURSE you will all relate to this.  I used to make jewellery and collected colorful beads for funky key chains, necklaces etc.  I have never gotten rid of the beads and I will NEVER EVER use them again.  So what did I do, you ask?  I invested $10 in a jar to store them in..LOL.  I mean, am I ever gonna get better?? EVER?

And I mean, what the hell is that “marine themed” red anchor button doing there anyway?  Was I ever gonna do a nautical themed card or scrapbook page?  nope.  just needed to have it. I feel like that jar is like a kid’s eye-spy book.. or on sesame street “one of these things is not like the other…” (singing the tune in my head).

I am IN LOVE with my label maker.. where the heck have you all been to tell me about these goodies????

DH Ryan asking me “how many of this do you have?”, “did I see another one of THESE somewhere?”, umm “what’s this?”, ” i think we should throw this out, no?”, “there’s a price tag on this, ARE YOU ON CRACK?” LOLOL. “ANOTHER FLOWER EMILY?  come ON!”.. ok, maybe I am exaggerating a bit but we are under demolition today and tomorrow and confined in between 4 tight walls.. you do the math.  Ryan offered to take a coupla days off work to help organize this ahem, office.. which-looks-like-a-cow-made-a-poo-poo-in-it (LOL at the POO POO.. never say that).  It is a DISASTER and I am trying to fill orders but feel so guilty hearing him grunt…LOL!  He is an amazing hub and so cute to boot.. a little anal (total opposite of this walking disaster), and VERY ORGANIZED.  hmph. Yes, I am officially jealous.

Anyhow, I have a few things to say.  First and foremost, a big gigunguh ((((HUG))))) to all my sistahs out there.. you are amazing and your thoughts are all read.. your comments are all read with a fine toothed comb and appreciated.  Ok, mushy mush outta the way.. I wanted to  thank the lurkers for stopping by and saying hello!  I am so thankful and THIRD (yucky part).. because of this demolition there has been a delay on orders.. I am still at the 5-7 day business day mark but I want to finish them now!  So I will be burning the midnight oil.. if anyone wants to come visit, I will be here! LOL.  Also, if you have a rush order (max 1 person-LOL), please let me know and I will try my best to fulfill it.. (YA I SAID 1).

Ya.. you got it.  I ran to Michaels like a lunatic.. (Now why is Home Depot open 24 hours but Michaels isn’t?? HMMMMM??????)  Until I found those doll pins, it was 1/2 hour.  I had to ask 36 different staff members with blank faces.. dontcha just love that look?  The raccoon in headlights look?  like  they are thinking (I HAVE NEVER EVER HEARD OF WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT AND YOU JUST WOKE ME UP FROM MY NAP).  Anyhow, I bough about 600 of them (ok, maybe 150).. Ok if there are any racoons in headlights reading, read my organization contest and comments.. someone spoke about the doll pins).  I bought the bases for them too so they can stand up.. OMG.. I LOVE THEM.. I bought short stick pins to pin the tail (not on the donkey).. Oh I bought the CUTEST plate holders.. you know, the stand that opens into a v to sit a plate in it?  I decided to invest in one so I can perch my card and take a photo and no more lopsided cards!  p.s.. this plate stand is the mini-est, cutest little thing you have ever seen.. so ya, I bought 3. Then I ran to Staples and based on everyone’s recommendation bought a label printer (Brother P Touch).  hmph.  i am done.  I cant believe it.  I am not complaining cuz I am SOOOO HAPPY!  So if anyone else has any other favorites to share.. please do!!  LOVE this post.
