Spotlight On: Oddball Cupid

Love is in the air, with Valentine’s Day around the corner, and all of the love themed stamps out there. We released a few with a general love theme in our December Release. We don’t think love is limited to Valentine’s Day though, so we want to see those stamps in use all year round! But themes are always handy, so I’m running with it today for my latest Spotlight On post.

In the December release we had the amazing new ODDBALL HERALD. He is a perfect pal for our older stamp ODDBALL CUPID, and it is Cupid in my spotlight today!

She’s just fab, isn’t she? Love her, and the sentiment is brilliant. We do also have the LOVE SENTIMENT SET and the tongue in cheek ODD TOGETHER SENTIMENT SET which goes so well with the Oddballs. Almost like it was designed to… 😉

Sunday with Tamibella: Tiny Townie Wonderland Playing Card Guard

Hi!Tamara here with you after a few weeks break. I hope you’re all doing great?! I’m starting my first post with a Valentine’s Day card using Tiny Townie Wonderland Playing card guard rubber stamp. I coloured him up in purple-red colour combination using my distress ink pads. I created the background for this card using one of the old Sizzix dies from my die collection. I cut it once from a white cardstock and then again from the red one and I added some of the red hearts to the white negative part. For the background layer I used light purple paper.

Sentiment “Love is in the air” is from Love sentiment set.

Distress ink pads used for colouring this image are:

skin: vintage photocheeks: worn lipstickpurple parts: villainous potionred parts: barn door, fired brickbrown: walnut stain
When my image was coloured in I fussy cut it and added some 3d foam circles and pop it up on my card base.

That’s all from me today. Have a lovely Sunday!Hugs, t.
