Hi!
Tamara here with you. For this week’s Sunday post I made a Mermaid card. I’ve been a huge Tiny Townie fan since the beginning of my crafting adventure. I’ve chosen Tiny Townie Mermaid set for this week’s card. I’ve been playing around with slim line dies the last week, so I tried making an underground scene with this set.
First I cut the bases and coloured them with my distress oxides (the sea and the sand). Then I wanted to make light coming down from the top, so I used a sun burst stencil to make sun rays.
I embossed air bubbles directly to the background. I also added a few fish.
Images were stamped using Archival Ink – Jet Black on 300g HP watercoloured paper and then coloured up using Distress ink pads.
Distress ink colours used:
skin: vintage photo
cheeks: worn lipstick
hair: barn door
shell: pumice stone, black soot
fin, flower: seedles preserves, black soot
bikini: fossilized amber, spiced marmalade
treasure chest: vintage photo, black soot
coins: fossilized amber, spiced marmalade
seagrass: mowed lawn
Images were all fussy cut and glued to the image with 3d tape to make them pop out.
Sentiment is from the Sentiment set called Under the Sea set.
That’s all from me today. Have a lovely Sunday.
Hugs, t.
Hiya sistahs! I hope you had a great week 🙂
Today our baberoonis have an amazing selection of cards to inspire!
READY SET , HERE WE GO!
AliceHUANGabella used our BUNDLE GIRL with a ROSE and a sentiment from our Spring SENTIMENT set
Isn’t she fantastic? You can see, she’s had it up to here with the step-sisters, and if she’s totally honest, that Prince Charming has it coming too…
Stamps Used: Oddball Cinderella, Encouragement Sentiment set

It’s the first Tuesday of the month, which means there are THREE FOUR stamps and “CUT IT OUT” DIES on offer at Crazy Tuesday prices today and only for today! Check out the inspiration below to see why you need them, then click on over to the store to grab them before the prices return to normal (by midnight tonight).
It wasn’t until I finished colouring them that I realised I’d coloured them like the birds from a certain popular game series! Pretty fitting, really, but they would also look awesome in lots of different colours.
