Tamara here with you with my new card made with adorable Bundle Girl on a Swing. I love colouring these smal cuties. I used to love the swings but a few years ago I lay down on one and my daughter was pushing me and when I got up I got crazy dizzy. So that was my last experience with swing – no thank you. LOL
Image chosen on this card was stamped with Archival Ink – Jet Black and then coloured up using Distress Ink pads. First I wanted to fussy cut her but then those ropes seemed a bit too complicated for my fussy cutting skills.
Distress Ink pads used:
skin, branch: vintage photo
leaves: peeled paint
outfit: victorian velvet
swing: ground espressoTo decorate the card I used some design papers from my stash and added a few die cut leaves. I added a sentiment that comes with the image and I just awesome. I love sentiments that come with Sb images.
That’s all from me today.
Hugs, t.

Hey friends!
It’s a new month and that means it’s time for a new Year of Flowers card on this Scenic Saturday. Water Lily is the official flower for July so I inked up Tiny Townie Garden Girl Water Lily. Because I wanted her to be wading through the shallow waters of her lily pond I first stamped her leg in Memento desert sand using my Misti, then inked everything but her foot and ankle in Memento tuxedo black before stamping her again. The lighter ink combined with only using the lighter Copics in my skin and shoe combos helps create the illusion of her foot being below the water’s surface once I color over it with some light blue Copic markers. For the background I sketched in extra lily pads floating on the water, making sure to sketch them in smaller the further in the distance I wanted them to be. Beyond the water’s edge I colored in some blue sky and the far shore of the lily pond, complete with a variety of simple trees and bushes. Once all the coloring was complete, I stamped on the sentiment then used a white pen to add ripples and some extra dimension to the water as a finishing touch. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by and a safe and happy 4th to all those celebrating this weekend!
