It has been a whirlwind of a weekend!  We ran around all over the place for a change.. went to scope out a VERY interesting show in Toronto called the National Women’s show and we will be participating in this show next year.  It was a wonderful array of vendors from food to exercise to product.. Also saw a WONDERFUL new exercise machine that works on vibrations… 15 minutes on this BABY and you lose inches and cellulite.. was 2 SECONDS close to joining the gym that carries this machine..LOL

Then bought some vitamins, ate some yogurt and VOILA, the day was ovah!

Yesterday we took the kids to see Madagascar 2.. OMG.. it was HILARIOUS.. Ryan and I loved it more than the kids! If you have little kidlets, I recommend you take them ASAP!

That was it for the weekend.. getting chillier by the second..  how’s the weather at your neck of the woods?  HUH??

    Hi Em,

This is the first time that I have had a moment to sit and relax a little this whole weekend. (I was off work today as the kids are on a P.A. Day) The hubby and I decided it was about time we painted the house and got a little ambitious and did the entire main floor. Saturday was our longest day as we started at 10am and ended at 1:30am. That is of course stopping to feed the kidlets and making sure they were well entertained! Your blog always makes me smile…and laugh, so this was definitely well worth the break…You and Nicky are fabulous and are always a great source of inspiration for me. Glad you all had such a great time on the cruise. The pictures were great! Ok gotta get back to making dinner. Its back to the grind tomorrow 🙂

    Cheers,

    Jo:)

OK, how do you define “doing something”? Oh, I know. I got all my Christmas cards finished – all 40 of them (plus a couple of extras just in case I forget someone). Hooray for me! Then I cleaned up the nasty mess I made. But the biggest job I did this weekend was stay indoors & watch my hubby outside raking up the leaves. Let’s hear it everyone – “Aw, Poor Ricky!!!!” I also put together some home-made soup to warm him up afterwards.

Can’t wait to see your new stuff. Where can I get one of those garlic chopper thingys?

  3. Emily says:

I don’t know HOW you sistahs post a comment with the math questions..LOL
Barb, I bought it at the women’s show but you can get it at kitchen stuff plus! I also got a rolly thingamabob which removes the skin from the garlic clove! It works phenomenally but I think it may be a future garage sale item..LOL.. don’t even get me started on garage sales grrr…

  4. Vicki says:

Made a 4 hour drive (actually, I rode) from Boston to NYC with a migraine! Fun, you ask? NOT! But the weekend was great after that. Saw my SIL and her two kids. Went to a cheerleading competition for girls 7-11. I had NOOOOOOO idea that it was such a huge deal! Let me tell you~some of those cheer moms were WAY out of control! My son used to play hockey, so I am used to crazy parents on the sidelines. But this topped it all! LOL Also saw another niece and her DH. Then made the long drive back home on Sunday night. Fun, but my backside was numb, KWIM?

  5. ROSYBELLA says:

Well I celebrated my boyfriend’s 26th birthday! Went to the Mandarin and had some yummy crab legs, and came back for cake and prezzies. I used the “Love Happens” robots for his card and it was absolutely adorable!
I didn’t see Madagascar 2, but we watched Kung Fu Panda and it was pretty cute. I love Jack Black so I had to see it.

  7. Linda w says:

I got to go to a stamp convention on Saturday in Milwaukee. Had a terrific time and spent too much money of course. There were 6 of us and we were definitely enabling each other. Sunday was spent just chillin’.

  8. Danni says:

We went to a wedding……most bizzare wedding we’ve ever attended!! I would’ve rather been with you!

  9. Carolynn F says:

I flew to Ottawa to visit a girlfriend. We had a wonderful time catching up, going out for dinner, drinks and hanging a curtain rod…that part wasn’t glamorous but helping a girlfriend make her house feel homey is the kind of stuff girlfriends do right? Lol.

  10. Arianne says:

I created (and finished) my Christmascards!
More than a month in advance. I’m so proud of me!

I also went exersicing sunday and on saturday-night I went out to dinner with my mom.

    Really enjoyed my weekend!

  11. Courtney says:

I cleaned all weekend. Blech!! Both me and my boyfriend were sick all last week so our house was a disaster area! I’m so happy to have a clean and tidy house though. Almost makes it worth it, almost.

  12. Gabriela says:

Saturday was my son’s Birthday Party (turned 7). So we took 9 kids to the Bowling Alley. It was great fun, although beyond exhausting.

Yesterday, we went out for breakfast to the Pickle Barrel. Canadian gals know what that is. Funny enough we also saw Madagascar yesterday… OMG, it was so good. I was laughing so hard!

Thanks for the opportunity to win!!!

  13. AmyR says:

I cleaned my house this weekend – no where near as exciting as your weekend!! 😉 I did see Madagascar 2 and it WAS hilarious – already I want to see it again!!

  14. We celebrated my little brother’s birthday & just spent time with family. I love it when my weekends are slow and relaxing! 🙂

  15. Miki B. says:

DH & I bought ourselves scooters about a month ago. After lots of practice around town over the last month, we finally took a longer trip on Saturday. It was so much fun!! Our weather is still in the high 60’s/lower 70’s which is nice, but a bit cool on the bikes. It didn’t keep us from having big smiles on our faces though!

  16. Jolene Sutcliffe says:

Well, I would love to say that I am still recovering from our cruise with you all…but I had to get back into the swing of things!!!
My DH and I have a friend in a nursing home (she has no family of her own), and my DH is her power of attorney, so this past weekend we ordered a big roll off dumpster to her house and we are getting rid of a lot of stuff!!! It is a huge undertaking, as she has been living in the house for 25 years and I swear she never threw anything away. We have at least one to two more weekends of this fun Woo-Hoo!
Then I got a little of “me” time on Sunday afternoon and I was working on Christmas cards!!!

  17. Sarah says:

I went to a card making class, a craft show, and a Christmas open house and just did some cleaning around the house (not very exciting).

  18. lindastamps says:

I walked like an Egyptian this weekend!!! Ok no not really, I didn’t do all that much really…made a few cards and relaxed! BUT my weekend is not over yet, 4 days off w00t, so tomorrow I’m trying out a new recipe for Hungarian Goulash!

  19. Heather D says:

Oh Wow! This weekend .. I went shopping for my secret sister, made a few cards, and played with the kids. We went out to eat with my parents Saturday night. I cleaned the house as much as I could with the kids and hubby running around :o). We hung out together all afternoon then went to church. My dad preached Sunday night. It was a very good message. I then stayed up and got the kids lesson plans ready for the week … and there you have it:) My weekend in a nutshell:)

  20. Nicole Cooke says:

so like a crazy woman, I drove from NJ to VA (8 hours each way) to attend a Stampin’ Up! Regional seminar!

  21. Sara Spencer says:

this weekend I got to veg out all Saturday with my husband and my little 7 month old boy. It was super nice. We didn’t have any specific plans at all other than taking it easy and make a home made pizza for dinner. Sunday was a day away from home with church in the morning and a 3 year old birthday party in the afternoon. Very fun though. I love the weekends.
Thanks for the chance to win!

  22. Liane Donovan says:

This weekend we bought a new couch and two new chairs from LaZBoy. My hubby was complaining that our old sofa hurt his back, so off we went! LOVE the new furniture!

  23. Christi says:

My dad and my new stepmom and stepsisters came over for dinner Saturday night and Sunday was spent all in bed since my whole family got sick with a cold. 🙁 It’s cold during the night and warm during the day here in Texas so I think our bodies don’t know what to do. I am so glad that you had a fun weekend!

  24. Nikki says:

lets see, I hung out with my kids, went to Target, cleaned, scrapped a bit and read New Moon. Pretty uneventful, lol

  25. Gayle Brown says:

Friday afternoon I helped a friend package up her scrap kits that will be mailed out this week, and then I stuck around her store for the Friday Night crop. It was a lot of fun, and I felt good about volunteering my time to help a friend! Saturday and Sunday I spent with my kiddos since my dear husband had to leave for 4 days of work. My daughter had a friend over for the night, and they were such silly girls! They told me that they were going to stay up all night, watch movies and play. So I went down stairs at midnight and they were both snorrin’ up a storm! Sunday I made pancakes and spent part of the day catching up with old friends on facebook and myspace. Sunday is the day I fell in love with Bella! I did laundry, cleaned the house and tucked the kids in to bed. It was an awesome weekend, even though I didn’t get much accomplished, because I got to spend time with friends and my kids!

  26. Debbie Henriksen says:

Well I ended up with the cold that my kids and hubby have had for a month and we decided to go to the trailer that we just bought in September to relax and do absolutely nothing! The weather was pretty good and we just sat around and watched movies and spent 100% quality family time together. It was awsome! Wasn’t up to much walking or anything but it was a great weekend overall….can’t wait to go again!

  27. Callie says:

Your weekend sounds fab Em! We spent the weekend surrounded by friends and family. Saturday we had a family wedding and there were over 80 Zenners (my hubby’s family) at the event. It was pretty awesome! Lots of old friends there as well.
We actually considered taking the kids to see Madagascar 2 on Sunday afternoon but our little princess wasn’t up to par so we decided to stay home and play with them and watch the football games instead. It was a rainy, rainy day and staying inside worked. We had a picnic for dinner while we rooted for the Eagles and ate pizza. It was a great time!!

  28. Diane Davies says:

We had some company over on Saturday night to watch the OSU game. So most of Saturday was clean and prepare dinner. Sunday was a total veg day. Did get up to my scrap room on Sunday night and worked a little. : )

  29. Glitter Queen says:

This weekend started working on my Christmas Cards. Got about 14 completed with a number yet to do. I have a number of your stamps and starting to get them inked up and coloured with my prismas. All I know is weekends go way too fast for me.

  30. Joanne B says:

All I have to say is “I like to Move it Move it!” We saw the movie yesterday and we’ve been singing the song ever since.

That and a LOT of stamping, involving more than a few bellas.

    MWAH to the sistahood!

  31. Emily – I can’t WAIT to see what you have in store! I actually had a fanTABulous weekend. I created a cute mini book, Ali-style, documenting the month of October. I also got to play with my newest bella stamp, LImelight, LOVE it! See ya soon!

  32. Jodi Herchold says:

My weekend was quite uneventful. Friday night I had dinner with my mom and husband, Sat. we went to a dinner party with friends and Sun. a baby shower. Besides that I stamped and shopped! Thanks for offering the blog candy!

Not to mention the beautiful weather we have had here in sunny South Carolina! heavenly weekend!

  36. I did not buy a garlic chopper, eat yogurt, or almost join a gym with a magic vibration machine. LOL

    You are so funny.

  37. Michelle Balletti says:

What did I do this weekend? Saturday, it was the usual….laid in bed forevah!! Sunday went bowling with my boyfriend and his brothers. This is a Sunday ritual and since I’ve been s tired lately, I haven’t been getting up at 5 to make it to the alley by 6 so I showed up around 8ish and bowled 6 okay games. I belong on 2 leagues and did not bowl this past week so I needed to get some practice in for this week. At least I got a 200+ game so I felt good. Right now I’m just excited because I just found out that my bella order has shipped!!! Now I’m going to be stalking the postal lady until I get my goodies!!! Hey for Stampingbella!!! Em, you and your family and your staff and your customers ROCK!!!

  38. Susan W. says:

Hi Em, you sure hada busy weekend. Mine was not so busy. I mostly surfed the forums and did a lot of the challenges. Now waiting for my order of bittyblooms (yes, all of them really who could choose one over another) to arrive this week.

  39. Lisa Foust says:

This past weekend – I spent a couple hours in front of Dora. DD and I made crafts – paper Turkeys and papers with stickers and tape all over them (she’s 2). Then I made a couple of altered containers for a swap I’m in. We went to church on Sunday, then spent the evening having dinner and chatting with friends!

It’s still way too hot here – hoping that someone will send some cooler weather to the Virgin Islands for me!

  40. So, can I call myself Danielle-a-bella? My girlfriend Amanda and I were lucky to be part of a holiday kickoff craft fair at our local mall this past Friday and Saturday. It was a blast and so cool to get our business name out there and meet lots of new people! Sunday was spent with my wonderful husband and my two little ones, Hannah and Miller. Very little housecleaning and a whole lotta lounging around. BTW, I had a great time on the cruise and I am so happy that I was able to be part of something so wonderful. You and Nikki are really a true inspiration to me! Cannot wait to get my Sellabella, among others! XOXO

  41. Sonja says:

FUN! We saw Madagascar 2 last weekend during the premiere and I totally agree…HILARIOUS! This last weekend we spent the weekend at my parents and watched the kids run around in the barely snow covered fields!

  42. Lisa in FL says:

OMG! It was a bizzy bizzy weekend! I nevah seemed to stop! The kidz kept me runnin’ around! What social lives they have at 11 & 13! But I did have some quiet, Mom alone in the house time Saturday nite! It was AWESOME!! But I did miss the little buggers!! Can’t wait to see Madagascar 2! I am glad to hear it was so great! I did get one layout done for a donation to a local hospital! Otherwise, it went by way too quickly! Mwah! Lovin’ all that you do!

  43. Katie Skiff says:

How fun to attend the women’s thing. We have one here – you should come to that too!! Ooohhh..that would rock! You know Montana loves da Bella!
The weekend – boring…after a Migraine last week it was a catch up weekend. I did attend a craft fair and did some damage there too! eek! Then Sunday, church, grandpa’s birthday dinner, and took the kids to the in-laws to play with a new race car set! Sheeshh…

And a lil playing in the Craft Cave! MWAH!!

  44. StampinCathy says:

Sounds like you were really busy. We did errands and in between reality I tried to play in my room. Only finished 2 cards, but that’s better then none. Thanks for a chance at this sweet candy. I sure could use this candy. My list is long and this would really help. Thanks!!

  45. Pegg says:

Sounds like you had a fabulous weekend! Funny you mentioned the Bangles because I went to an 80s themed birthday party but unfortunately the DJ did not play the “good 80s” music! We requested Walk Like an Egyptian and he didn’t any Bangles albums! How could that be ?! I celebrated 2 girlfriends’ birthdays in NYC – it was a great great time! Time with my old college friends is always good!

  46. Karen Dombroskie says:

This weekend I had my friends over and we CASED some of the cards that I made on the cruise! It was blast!!!! One of my friends had never stamped before and she enjoyed herself too!

  47. diane mcvey says:

Wow, what a fantastic bit of blog candy!!!!!!!!! Someone is going to be excruciatingly happy!!!!!
This weekend our oldest son came for a visit, with his 2 boys. They are our only Grandchildren. We had a great time watching a movie, feeding the birds, squirrels, and deer (and the horse); and cooking and eating. It’s always fun when they come to visit us! 😀

  48. Never thought I’d say this, but that garlic thingy is cute 🙂
We had a fabulous weekend and we didn’t really do anything exciting. Sat. we slept in, ran to the recycle center, library, ate lunch at Which Wich, went to Target and then 4 different Kohl’s (they were having a good sale and we have 4 nearby), hit up DQ for a blizzard and then went grocery shopping at 10pm which was perfect because no one was in the store. Sun – woke up and stayed in bed reading all morning. It was fabulous. Then lounged around the house all day. I made my first ever apple pie from scratch – it’s good!

  49. Theresa Hamm says:

Hi, Em! This weekend I stamped with my Irish twins, who are 5 and 6. After much deliberation, I broke down and bought 3 separate sets of gel pens. There were so many giggles and laughter…who would have known that gel pens could make little girls as giddy as their mother. Off to put the kiddies to bed. Much love to those who stamp with their daughters.

    Theresa

  50. Dawn/Froggy says:

hmmm….did some cleaning…watched storm chasers last night…LOL! pretty boring weekend

  51. Sparkle says:

I went to my manager’s conference and gala celebration this weekend. Our company celebrated their 25th year anniversary and it was wonderful. I’m so exhausted right now, but it was a great weekend. Can’t wait to see Madagascar 2…loved the first one! 🙂

  52. Suzanne says:

Hi Em! I had a fabulous weekend because I planned to do nothing. I spent a fabulous weekend with DH – we shopped a bit, cleaned the house, watched some movies and just spent time together. It was really wonderful! Sometimes our busy lives get in the way of us just enjoying each other :o)

  53. Jenn says:

I was sick on Friday so spent the afternoon/night on the couch catching up on my DVR. Saturday was taking DD to dance and some errands. Sunday we did some much needed cleaning up and started to clear space in DD’s toyroom so I can finally have my own craft area. Saunday night I experimented with embossing a bit and worked on my christmas cards. It was the perfect end to my weekend.

  54. janet says:

My weekend…well the most excitment i had was going to my dads house with my aunt and sister and making gnocchi!! mmmm It was the first time we made it since my mom passed away so it was special:) Then i went out for coffee with my friend Heidiko, and we went to see the festival of lights down at the Falls (it looks better with snow!!)

  55. Wini says:

We went to visit my brand new baby niece this weekend! She was so cute and mom and dad were doing great. It was good to get a way and get my baby fix. I can’t wait to visit again!

  56. Jean in NH says:

    I worked….

    Just like every weekend……..

Man, I need a new job.

  57. Jamie says:

My weekend was so not as fun as yours!! We spent Thursday in the ER with my son so he could get staples in his head because he jumped off the bed to a pile of pillows and smacked it on the window seat. Then Saturday morning he was hospitalized because he was having trouble breathing. They decided it was a Bronchial Spasm, might be asthma but it is too soon to tell. We were there until Sunday afternoon. NO FUN!!!

Glad you had so much fun.

  58. Katie Cotton says:

I had to do makeup and hair for a wedding so that took up much of my time. I did manage to get some cards made and not put my 2.5 year old in a cardboard box with holes poked in it to ship off to my mom. hehehehe. But thats about all. 🙂
Thanks so so so so so much for the chance to win! You rock Em!

  59. Michelle says:

What weekend Em???…You mean there was one? LOL It was busy though. I got 43 invitations done for my son’s soccer banquet (no, I didn’t get to use soccermomabella for these ones…not sure high school guys would appreicate her as much as I do) Other than that, it was a great weekend filled with some time at home, dinner out with my husband’s business associates, on Sunday FINALLY had an afternoon to make a homecooked meal for my family…I think they forgot what one really is 😮 From all of the responses, it sounds like there were many good weekends out there 🙂

  60. Mandy says:

I had a great weekend! Friday I cleaned my house, which is my usual routine. I love it when it’s done. Saturday, my BFF and I went shopping for stamps. Best day evah!! Then Sunday I worked all day in my scrapping room to re-organize. That is an ever lasting problem!!! I have a whole room, and still don’t have enough space!!

  61. holy crabcakes batman!
I’ve been An-ger-Y! 🙁 {sigh} and it SUCKS! I’ve been hoping a little wine would take away from my frustrations – probably not the BEST of ideaRS! 😉 LOL good thing I have humor!

so this weekend – in a nutshell…. I went to a mary-kay make up demo on friday night with a bunch of da-sistahs (next door neigh’bs, then Saturday I, GASP! did practically nothing~ but in the evening, I worked on making chocolate dipped spoons with a friend… once the children found my VERY last nerve and crushed it to smithereeens we came home. Sunday -worship, then went to a pampered chef par-tay! came home and ate the chicken pot pie -that is more like stew and NOT a pie- that dh and the kids and I made earlier. Dunked my straw in the wine again 😉 and watched some crazy tv!
voila – the not so fun life I had this weekend!

  62. Julie says:

My weekend was not quite as fun as yours. I ended up going into the Emergency Room on Friday with extreme pain thorughout my body for unknown reasons. After being on morphin for most of the day they sent me Home to rest with orders to come back today for a spinal tap if my pain was not under control. Luckily today I am feeling quite a bit better, but not yet 100%. I jumped on the computer as soon as the DH was not looking to check on my Bella order and read your Blog. Now I am feeling much better! 😉

    Julie

  63. Carol says:

Wow my weekend was so uneventful. I did a little house cleaning, did a little napping, cleaned up my stamp room and watched Sookie Stackhouse on HBO, Boy am I addicted to that stupid vampire show. It rained out here so I wanted to stay in the house. Thanks for the chance to win this great blog candy!

  64. Dee says:

  65. Riley says:

Well, my weekend kicked off working until 7:30pm on Friday… then again on Saturday from 1:30 – 5:30pm… but that’s part of owning a dance studio I guess!

Saturday evening DH and I went out for pizza and then spent the rest of the night playing this really addicting word game on his iphone!

Sunday I stamped and went shopping with my mom! Sunday was my fuuuun day!

  66. Kerry J. says:

I didn’t do too much – but did have a chance to do some more purging and decluttering – I’m trying to simplify. I also had a training at our Church. Pretty low key and lots of snuggling with my kiddos. Thanks for the chance to win!

  67. Kimberlee says:

This weekend was fun. We spent Saturday at my parents house celebrating my mom’s birthday. My older son (2 years old) had swim lessons on Sunday afternoon and then we went to my MIL’s for dinner. I did something Sunday morning, but for the life of me I can’t remember what… LoL. Life gets too crazy sometimes. And in the midst of all that I tried to work on my thesis some. I’d LOVE that giftie certificate. Thanks for the chance to win!

  68. Tiddly Inks says:

Hello, darling!! Garlic is good for you and it is yummy! 🙂 Too bad I never use it! LOL

Let’s see, during the weekend: I illustrated, then I ate, then I drew, then I ate, then I painted, then I ate, then I inked some stuff that made me giggle (probably followed by more eating)!!!! In the middle somewhere, I cooked said food and played with the little one, but mostly, I painted and inked drawings that made me smile….and ate (but not anything with garlic). LOL

I am glad you did something that made you smile! 🙂 I know I did.

  69. JanScholl says:

Frag!!! I wrote a long thing and it blipped and erased it. Wahhhhhhh.

I did nothing for the weekend and really am too depressed to write about it again. So I think I need to go yell at someone or thing. That skunk in the back yard-yeah, since he don’t give a rats buttocks how I feel.

  70. Molly B says:

OH I want to see that movie. Have to wait for DVD I’m not sure my kiddo would sit still in a theater. This weekend… I help my best friend prepare for a Pinkalicious party she is hosting for a bunch of little girls and their American Girl Dolls.

  71. Michelle Machado says:

    Bella mia…
I went to Stamping Bella on Saturday, took TWO classes, had to beg to my hubby to baby sit little Catarina…and promiss him “the night”, just to take the two courses while he missed his soccer game to watch our little angel…and guess what?
I forgot my memories album that I made in the course at the STORE!!!
    yep…
Sunday? I ate a giant bowl of popcorn and went to Michaels to buy a Christmas tree, but they were too ugly!!
    beijinhos

  72. Beth Winn says:

I had a great week-end. I help with our teen youth group, and on Saturday we went to another church and helped with their building project. We all had alot of fun and everyone wants to go back this coming week-end. That evening we went to some friend’s house to have a campfire and roast hot dogs and make smores. It was freezing outside, so we got the guys to cook and all of us girls stayed inside and had girl talk!!! Gotta love a man who cooks, even if it’s only hot dogs.

  73. karen says:

Friday night-Chinese food with the DH. Saturday-ran errands, finished up all of the cards from da cruise I didn’t get done(too busy chatting I guess), watched college football…ROLL TIDE!! Sunday-My sistah Linda(aka “Reba”-you remember her Em) and I got together to come up the designs for our Christmas cards, and baked a pan of cookie brownie bars :o) Glad you had fun. And the weather here in Georgia is 60’s during the day and 40’s at night.

  74. Kirsten says:

We saw Madagascar II, too! Loved it, too!

This weekend I went to a Christmas stamp-ede on Saturday. We made 12 different and fun projects. Sunday, hubby and I took the kiddo to the park in his new wagon, took tons of pictures and played with his remote control car – then grocery shopping and laundry. Thanks for the chance! :o)

  77. Linda says:

My weekend wasnt as exciting, it rained all weekend. But i did get some stamping done while the kiddos were sleeping! A great 2 hours!! Thanks for some awesome blog candy.

  78. Chris says:

the math questions are mind boggling…..LOL
This past weekend was not so busy in this house. Friday we went to town and bought a new living room set. After al……we are on the Christmas house tour this year. Things have to look right. My Mom spent the weekend with us. Saturday her and I hung out and played in the craft room…she stamped and colored……I finished a tree skirt for a gift.
Today I hooked………..lmao. Tomorrow I have 8 ladies coming to do a quilt workshop.
The blog candy sounds great………it would certainly get well spent here……..LOL. Do you know how many Lobstah’s that would buy here? The season opens this month too……sure wish I liked them.

  79. What did I do this weekend?
    I helped Marlene stamp! lol
    She’s a monstah!

  80. Mae Wisor says:

What did I do…laundry, grocery shopping, take my son to his friends new home (about 40 min away) over the bridge. Cooked. Finished a book and started another one. Organized my bella images I received in a swap. Helped hubby replace a toilet ( I supervised). Did some accounting for our HOA. Surfed the net!!! Thought about how I should store all the great images I am accumilating. Have not decided yet. Watched some TV and looked at the bills…but walked away. Pretty boring, but tis life!!!

  81. Shannon Roberts says:

Well, I went to VEGAS!! Had a ton of fun, we ended up getting upgraded to the Bestest Suite ever!!! We were actually good mature adults, went to bed early (well sorta, lol) & enjoyed the amenities in our room! I soooooo luved the bath, had a great breakfast, then went to the Eiffel tower; oooohhhh. No stamping but maybe just maybe you will change that??

  82. Karyn says:

Hi Em, Sounds like you had a busy weekend. Me too! Friday night DH and I did a bit of shopping with our Emmy. Then Saturday we bought a new ‘fake’ tree (haven’t put it up yet), I taught a workshop in the afternoon, in the evening I went to a crop and got a lot of Christmas cards done (yay!), Sunday was church and then did laundry (blech) and relaxed with the family.

  83. Marjorie says:

We took our girls to Wall-e finally! Our littlest love it but our older girl (who by the way LOVED Wall-e in all the previews) got BORED and just chilled out in the lobby with her aunt for almost half the movie! I also made bunches of Christmas cards, altered a Papertrey box for hot cocoa and candy canes, and hung out with my hubby and watched a couple of movies at home while the kids were asleep. Other than that, we just hung out at home for the most part ^_~.

  84. Alanna says:

Well, I spend most of this weekend in the kitchen…had the family’s Oct/Nov birthday celebration at our place and had to cook for 14 people! I got a bit of organizing done too…cleaned out the dreaded junk drawer in the kitchen!!

  85. Maria says:

    Hey Em:

Sounds like you had a great time this weekend! This weekend, I was busy doing loads and loads of laundry plus chauffeuring my girls to hockey practice, piano and swimming. Hubbie and I actually had some free time on Saturday night while the girls went to a hockey game with friends. We don’t usually have time to ourselves so instead of snuggling with a glass of wine and taking advantage of the free time, what did I do – LAUNDRY! OK now, stop laughing. Have a great week, Maria

  86. Becca says:

I wish i had some awesome story to tell, but sadly no….I have been sick for 5 days with a nasty sore throat and basically spent the weekend in bed trying to forget how much it hurt to swallow anything!! Although…. i am a glass ia 1/2 fulll kind of gal and so from that perspective I got to lounge around in my comfy bed in my favorite jammies and eat Ben and Jerry’s Cherry Garcia Fro-Yo for 2 days!! It is all in the way you look at things! lol 😉
    Thanks
    Becca

  87. Sabine says:

What did I do this weekend…..hmmm let’s see. We went to West Edmonton Mall to join the chaos and all the people out doing xmas shopping…UNREAL! Then we took the kids to see Madagascar2 and it was FUNNY! We really loved it. The kids ate a ton of popcorn and all was good. Then we decided we had some relaxation in the theatre so we went and BRAVED costco…yikes Costco on a Saturday! Need I say anything further? Sunday we spent the day as a family at home, a lazy day. Just some cleaning up, munching on snacks and relaxing. It was great! I even got a chance to craft with my daughter some!! That was it for our weekend….not a bad one at all! Have a great week.

    Sabine

I had the best weekend ever! I’m not sure if you class staying at home and scrappping ‘doing something’ but it was the something I ‘needed’ to do. Our life is so busy that I totally loved getting into my scraproom and playing for the better part of 2 days! Of course I used some of my Bella stuff!

I had a pretty good weekend, a little busy but nothing like yours! I drove 2 hours to Calgary on Friday night in the dark and visited with family. Saturday I taught a card class for my Mom and 13 of her co-workers and had a dinner date with my fiancee. Then Sunday, I drove the 2 hours back home and was exhausted!

What weekend??? I work part time (or at least it’s supposed to be part time) at Archivers. This weekend was our kick off to the holiday season in papercrafting world The Holiday Extravaganza!!!. I worked 9 hours on Saturday and 8 on Sunday. It was very busy and I am a bit exausted but it was fun to see so maNy new holiday products and help people get excited about making their own holiday cards and gifts. My creative juices are a flowin, now I just hope that this coming weekend will have some crafty time.

  97. Amy says:

Hmm… This weekend? Why does it feel so long ago already? Well, I helped some friends with a garage sale, met up with my parents and brother for dinner and then flew to San Diego for a conference…. so lots of sitting and waiting in airports.

  98. Cindy says:

The small town of Eatonville (Washington) had it’s Holiday open house for all the merchants on Saturday. My mom’s best friend has a garden gift shop called The Holly Hut. We went to help her for the day. A couple years ago she added on to the back of the darling little building and she now lives there. She had the whole place decorated up and guests were allowed to walk all around and on to her covered porch which faces Mt. Rainier. We helped people fill out raffle tickets and served cookies and hot cider. It was soooo fun.

  99. Chris says:

I had the bestest weekend ever. I babysat a puggle and her 6 little puppies. They are soooooooooo sweet and a lot of fun. I miss them but also have decided never to try to raise puppies….a lot of work and too hard to say goodbye.

  100. Jennifer (jkincolorado) says:

I had a fun, busy weekend. My hubby was off both days so we got to work. We removed wallpaper from our dining room wall (the last wall in the house to still have 1980 wallpaper on it!), painted the hallway, cleaned and organized our garage and raked/mulched all our leaves in the front yard 🙂

  101. Shellabella says:

    Hi Emily,
Well, this week-end was so much fun.
    On Saturday, I went to the BEST stamping/scrapbook store;
Stamping Bella!!! (perhaps you’ve heard of it, it’s AMAZING!)
I took Dianne’s beautiful 6 pages in 60 minutes class
in the afternoon. So much fun! Those layouts were great.
Later on Saturday around 5p.m. I was lucky enough to be
invited to my girlfriend Hannah’s home for dinner.
Then off we went for a fun filled night at Delta Bingo!!!
(we laughed so much, I thought they were going to ask us to leave!)
I was also lucky enough to have time on Sunday to work on my new
pages and somehow the day just flew by. They are now finished and I
can’t wait to take Nicky’s card class on Wednesday. See you soon!

  102. Nicole says:

I spent the weekend redoing my bathroom. I fixed the tiolet, sanded the walls and threw away all my old make up. Hopefully next weekend I can paint and put in the new floor.
Then I played with my new Bella’s. I’m lovin the new christmas images.

  105. Alicia says:

    Lets See:
Saturday Morning I took my kids to a birthday party from about 11-1pm
Then we came home and hubby made some lunch and we all watched Kung-Fu Panda.
Then I went to the Grand Opening of the Container Store in Cinci, it’s so much closer to us than the one in Columbus whew.
I got my kids some bouncy balls with glitter inside that swirls as they bounce. My daughter put hers in a cup and was pretending it was Ice Cream.
Came home about 7pm and ate dinner, bath and bed for kids afte story time of course. Goodnight moon is becoming a classic in this house 🙂

Sunday morning we had church. Then I went to pick up my stuff left over from a garage sale at my local LSS. I made $240 in store credit who hoo!
Rest of the day was spent cleaning and gearing up for the week.

    Hugs and Blessings

  120. Kim Forsyth says:

This weekend went by way too fast for me, we bottled a little white chocolate white port on Saturday morning then headed off to a nearby city for a lil shopping. Sunday was pure heaven as I piled up on the sofa with my puppy and watched TV most of the day… and yes later, I STAMPED a card with the happy little round snowman I got from ya’ll on the cruise!!!

  121. Friday night I went to Live After Five, a local downtown free concert series in the fall and spring. Saturday morning I went to visit a friend’s mother at the hospital who is critically ill and being taken off life support today.:-( Saturday afternoon and evening I tailgated and then cheered on the LSU Tigers against University of Alabama.

  122. Annelies says:

On Friday I went shopping with my sister and in the evening we went to a great restaurant. On Saturday I had my first bird watching course and I realised I still have a lot to learn. On Sunday my sis had a car crash. Luckily she wasn’t hurt, but her car is totally lost. After this news we didn’t feel like doing anything. Greetings from Belgium, Annelies

  123. Sally says:

I was a bum and loved it! I fell asleep on a bench in the dog park while reading a book. I stayed stressed out until the end of OT in the Bama/LSU game. Roll TIde! On Sunday, I finally made an effort to be productive and ran some errands. Of course, I finished the weekend with Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters. Next weekend I move, so I felt no guilt from being so lazy.

  124. Leslie says:

Okay, I just commented and then pressed submit and it said I didn’t pass the math question! Um, I’m pretty sure I answered it correctly 🙂 So, here goes again….what did I do on the weekend? I doggie-sat the best and cutest little dog and then on Sunday taught a Christmas card class to 14 ladies – fun but exhausting! Oh, and of course looked over all the beeeeeeautiful things I bought when I was with you! Hugs…Leslie

  125. Terri says:

As a fan I know you would understand the thrill we had SKATING with the CANADIENS!! My little Tomas met one of his heros Tomas Plekanec….he now says he is SURE he wants to be an NHL star…lol

  126. Pinky says:

My weekend started perfectly – Friday night had dinner with one of my best girlfriends. Ate Italian food, drank wine, giggled and girl chatted and also check out the cute waiter (many times). Yes, I’m married….but a girl can still look. 😉

Saturday, had a nice breakfast with my DH and then the two of us went shopping (which rarely happens as he is not a shoppin kinda guy) We bought outfits for a big Christmas party we are attending in Dec. It was fun shopping together – it was a rare mood for him, so it worked well.
Saturday night had dinner with friends – ate delishious food and drank more wine.

Sunday I put on a crock pot of stew (Yummy!) Cleaned out the garage, and put up the Christmas lights outside. We had to do it before it gets too cold and the snow starts to fly. The first year of marriage we put Christmas lights up when it was minus 10 degrees out – it did not go well, and promised to never do that again. We are much nicer to each other when it is warm 🙂

After all our outdoor chores were done we came inside to the smell of crock pot stew slowly simmering…..Delish!!!
A crock pot is the one appliance that every woman should own, a true life saver. You’ll never find mine on the garage sale table 🙂

So, a perfect weekend was had – I barely cooked, outdoor chores done, got a pretty outfit, drank wine, ate great food, looked at good looking waiters, spent time with my DH and friends….yup, Perfect!

Luv ya Em – have a great week

  128. Shannon says:

I did a big nothing this weekend…….ok, maybe not completly nothing. I did a massive water change in my 75 gal fish tank. Took almost an hour of sitting there watching the water drain out….then fill back up. And I only replaced half the water. But I did manage to get the family room straighted up a bit while I was monitoring the tank. Did some work on projects for my upcoming Stamp Store class. Played with the puppy. Did the laundry. Caught up on my TV watching for the week. Got a few errands done (needed cat and dog food and dog treats, and new shoes for me). Nothing to exciting or thrilling…..but tonight….I have new Stampin’ Up toys to play with so I’ll be locked up in my studio from the time I get home to the time I go to bed tonight.

  129. Amanda says:

I am so excited to see Scrappy Bella coming alive. Can’t wait to see what it entails.

This weekend I actually did nothing but relax and spend time with my little family. I haven’t had a weekend in AGES where I had not a single thing planned. I have a 3 year old daughter and work full time while also being a Pampered Chef consultant on the side….needless to say my everyday life is busy. So getting to spend the entire weekend with her in our jammies was fun.

I also managed to sneak in a little Christmas card making too 🙂

I am so addicted to your blog !!! Thanks for always keeping things entertaining 🙂

    Amanda

Ordered in Chinese… Saturday we took our dog Jenna to the groomer and dropped off food at our local food bank. Then, we hung out and watched Transformers with our son. Then I finished laundry and my husband took our son to see Madagascar 2. YIPPEE… Free time for me! I roasted a chicken and then had a nice family evening.

  134. Brenda says:

This past weekend, my husband, daughter, and one of our golden retrievers went up to my husband’s family farm for the weekend. We also asked my sister in law and her two kids to come up for a special weekend. It was the day we buried Chevy – our first golden retriever. He was 10. He was buried next to Halo (husband’s parents’ golden retriever dog who was killed by a truck over 10 years ago). The three cousins (age ranging from 7 to 4) helped with the funeral – they threw in a tennis ball that Chevy loved to play and my husband (his baby) threw in a milkbone and we buried him. My brother in law made a nice ‘bone’ marker with Chevy’s name.

  135. Jessica says:

    Hi Em
I love your blogabella. It always makes me smile and laff.
This weekend I got my scrap n stow table set up that my husband got me for my bday. I LOVE IT…Now I don’t have to scrap and make cards on my coffee table anymore. YAY!!! How cool is that??!!
I did some Christmas shopping. I ordered my fa~bella~ulous Christmas stamps last week so got my paper and embelliez picked out. Cannot wait to put it all together.
Did some Xmas baking but so much for that cuz it didn’t even make it through the weekend. It magically disappeared. I’ll keep trying.
Other than that after a long work week and night school, I just parked my tooshie on the couch with my puppiez and watched all the 80’s/90’s movies I could find. Don’t you just love Molly Ringwald? Pretty in PINK!!
LOL my daughter has Saturday school this weekend and when the VP called me about it I asked her if it was going to be like the Breakfast Club.
She said no but that she totally loves that movie. WHO DOESN’T???
Ok well have a fab week

So the inside says “Our Present arrives in January”. Then I worked 3 advent box calendars I’m making for my nieces & nephews. I saw Body of Lies and I shopped for the ugliest Christmas sweater I could find. My husband & I attend a Christmas party ever year and the guys wear womens Christmas sweaters and try to top each other with the ugliest one. I got a sweater vest this year that might win!

  147. Crystalbella says:

This was a fantastic weekend for me and my family. Friday is always our family night. We take turns either planning the menu for that night or pick a restaurant that we would eat at. My son chose homemade pizzas. This is always fun to do because we get to make the dough by hand and pick our own toppings and viola instant perfection and always a meal that is a fav because you make it with favs. Also, since it is family night we always, always, always have dinner together, turn off the TV, turn on the radio and play games. On Friday, we played Uno, Yatzhee, Strategeo, and ended the night with a Monopoly game that would not end….so we ended it as an “everyone wins tonight” because we could barely keep our eyes open.
The rest of the weekend we relaxed around the house, switch things over to winter (cloths, bedding, pillows), played a little Wii, and settled in and watched an old classic movie, The Fall of the House of Usher with Vincent Price…yes, the one from 1960…fantastic movie. My son is reading short stories for his comp and lit class and this Poe classic was his last so we celebrated by renting this old classic, popping some popcorn and enjoyed a Saturday night of rest and relaxation. Sunday, I baked some fresh banana bread, cleaned, went to church, read the paper, made my menus and shopping lists for the week, and scrapbooked a bit.
It was a fantastic weekend us. It is getting cold here and forcast is for a little snow this coming weekend. Tradition at our house is with the first snow comes my famous white hot chocolate….Oh my…Yummmo! My family usually can’t wait for the first snowflake to fall so they can yell…woohooo white hot chocolate!!
Thanks Em….As always, can’t wait to see anything and everything you put out for us.
    Crystalbella

  148. David says:

I came to check this site out for my wife who has all of these bellas on her christmas list. It was a cross of the massive honey-do list for me this weekend but it was fun. Do you really want all of the boring list of things I did like…clean the gutters from all the massive leaves (we live in a forest), sealed the drive, and watched football. How is that for a productive weekend. Ha Ha I can’t believe I am entering this contest but thought what the heck…why not…you do have fella stamps. If I win, I am going to get myself the fix-a-fella stamp for me (looked just like me this weekend, OK neck down anyway) and then get my wife some of the bellas off her list. David C.

  149. Kate says:

I had a fun weekend! On Saturday I went……by myself……..with no kids………to an awesome garage sale! And I found several pairs of very trendy jeans that were my size. I love it when that happens! I then met with several other ladies and spent the day making cards and mini books. It was so much fun! Then on Sunday at church we had a special service to recognize and celebrate our Veterans. It was a great weekend!

Sounds like a wonderful weekend in your neck of the woods. I am still in the process of recovering from surgery a few weeks ago, so my weekend was low key. There was alot of cleaning however as the hubby was headed home after six & 1/2 weeks of being on the road and when he is gone, I get so lazy about the house cleaning. I wanted him to come home to a lovely CLEAN house, and he did.

  151. Jess Willison says:

Hey Em! Sounds like things are super fun in the big city!

My weekend was spent cooking and cleaning….two things I do enjoy doing! I am working at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto all week, so I made some meals for my DH and DD….and of course, made sure they had a clean house, and lots of clean clothes!

    Thanks for a super treat!

  152. I hardly got to have any fun at all this weekend. (boo hoo to the hoo hoo!)

I worked Friday night ’til 9PM and then Saturday, I worked again ’til 9PM. I work in a pharmacy so apparently people need things to make them better at all hours of the day and night.

Sunday I got to clean house, do laundry and wash the windows on my house. OH SO EXCITING I KNOW!

    I live the life of a glamah-puss. Don’t be jealous. 😀

  153. Stephanie says:

This weekend my older boys were in the Christian Youth Theater production of Aladdin Jr. I was the head of the Green Room, having to keep all the kids in line and on cue, which wasn’t really that hard! I had time in the Green Room to make each of the other Green Room moms a framed scrapbook page of their child in costume. It was a great weekend!:)

  154. Melanie W says:

This weekend was a very relaxing weekend. The kids had 4 days off. We went to the museum on Saturday, did some shopping and worked on some stuff around the house. Nothing to exciting.

  155. Jessie says:

Hey Em!! Sounds lke you had a fun weekend! I worked a flu clinic at my job Sat, Crafted Sat night and cleaned the house on Sunday!! Have a great day!! Jessie

  156. Cori S says:

    Hi Em!!

You know what I did this weekend? I made 35 out of 55 Christmas cards that I need this year… that’s right! 35! Woo hoo! Now THAT’S MY kind of weekend! My hubby said he didn’t want to interrupt my creative flow, so he left me alone the entire weekend. I LOVED it!

  157. Melissa (smileytexan) says:

A busy weekend it was for me. I had my hostess group meeting on Saturday so got to visit with the ladies. . .then it was baking up a storm with coffee cake and pumpkin bars. They were delicious! Sunday was spent with church in the morning for about 3 hours and then we took it easy in the afternoon and hung out with my boys! Got another busy weekend coming up. . .but aren’t they always like that once Christmas is on the way??

Fun, fun!! Thanks for the chance to win!! How fun would that be to spend!!!

  158. Denise G says:

This weekend was a work weekend. My poor husband was a busy man! We moved furniture around and took the old recliner to the basement… (I’m grinning) We hung up pictures/decorations and hauled out the junk…. lots of junk! This weekend will be hitting our bedroom and (maybe painting too!) then onto the garage. Life is good!
    Denise

  159. Miesje says:

First the weather in my neck of the woods is warm and sunny (Florida is like that most of the year)! This weekend I started several projects for grandchldren Christmas gifts. I am making fleece (lightweight) blankets and treasure boxes using some of the leftover fleece fabric. Everything will be monogrammed. I have 13 grandchildren so I will be busy for several weeks. I am also checking my mailbox for my last Bella Order!

  160. Jana says:

    this is probably too late
We went to our cottage and did our fall clean up! not exciting but got some time in with the in-laws. yeah!

  161. Amanda says:

Hey!! Glad you recommend the movie. it’s on our list to do.

This weekend was a sweet one. We didn’t have any plans and let things happen as they came. That included a little cleaning in a few corners around here. (although, I couldn’t tell you which ones by looking now, but it felt good at the time) lol

I started the weekend with a trip to your store on Friday!. I love going there. It’s much nicer without ankle biters in tow and a pocket full of money, but I’ll take a field trip there any time!!

    Thanks for the caaaandieee.

  162. Wendy R says:

Hi Em! My mom and I took the kids Sunday to see Madagascar 2 also! What a hoot!

The weather here is in the 30’s and 40’s. Too cold for me but I live here to be close to my family while my youngun’s grow up!

Tell Ryan I’ll see his GF on Thanksgiving! LOL! (and we’ll be discussing our road trip to see you!)

  163. Nancy K says:

Let’s see…. stamped…. washed the car….. stamped….. cleaned the garage….stamped….. did I mention stamping? The weather here in Texas was great- 70’s. It makes it hard to get into the fall/winter spirit when the leaves are still on the trees!

  164. Renee (happystamper05) says:

We didn’t do anything super special – just raked leaves, cleaned up the yard, and then hunkered down and did family stuff. What am I saying that it wasn’t ‘super special’? Family time is always ‘super special’! Thanks for the chance to win. ?
Oh, the movie sounds great – will definitely be on our things to do soon!
    Hugs

  165. Kerry from PA says:

This is one part of autumn that I don’t particularly relish. Sung to the tune of row row row your boat, this is what my weekend consisted of pretty much: rake, rake, rake the leaves, way out to the curb; breezy, sneezy, stiff and sore, my weekend end flew away.

While the majority of the leaves are down, there are still a few BIG oak trees pretty much loaded with leaves so probably next weekend will be a repeat performance. At least once it gets dark I can come in and stamp.

  166. Julie says:

    Hi Em,

I didn’t do much of anything this weekend, except recoup from a cold I had last week, so I did a lot of resting, watched a couple movies. This week is all about stamping. 🙂

    Julie

  167. Dawn B. says:

This weekend was fun and depressing too. We spent the last week in Disney World (fun) and Saturday we had to come home (sad). Sunday was spent sleeping from all the running we did all week long and getting ready for the week ahead. Unfortunately I am still doing laundry…will it ever end? MWAH to the sistahs who hate laundry as much as I do.

  168. Tracy says:

We cocooned and finally watched Pirates of the Caribbean on DVD. I don’t think I understood it all, but it was #3 and I have not seen 1 or 2. So I guess I deserved it. JD was NOT sexy to me in this one. Kind of disappointing

    T

  169. Susan says:

My weekend certainly wasn’t as exciting as yours. I spent it driving with my sister from Pittsburgh (our hometown) to Jacksonville. Our dad recently passed away and my sister was driving his car back home. It is a little 4 cylinder Sonata and we had it packed to the roof with boxes and barely enough room left over for us. It was a long 12.5 hours but we made it home safe and sound.

  170. Angela says:

Hmmm, if I can remember what I did this weekend…DH worked Saturday morning, and I had the kids. I babysat my friend’s kids for a little while during her 10K race, we then went and checked out some of the gyms in the area, then had dinner with my sister and her family when DH got home. Not my usual weekend, but busy enough. DS got to ride his bike, which he was really excited about, and we took a walk on Sunday morning and the weather was amazing.

  171. Cheri Higdon says:

    I spent the weekend at a friends house stamping. There was a total of 9 women and we were all working on various things. Of course I took my bella stash with me to share with everyone. We had raffle tickets so every couple of hours numbers were called and everyone won prizes. We all took exchange gifts with us and had to play silly games to get our gifts too. We stayed up too late, talked too much, laughed too much, ate too much and accomplished very little. Everyone signed up for a different meal and supplied the food for that meal so that the cost and work was spread out between everyone. When it was time to leave I was beyond exhausted! I was the 2nd one to leave and I was way up in the driveway so a couple of women had to move their cars for me to leave. When I put my key in the ignition it wouldn’t turn. I tried and tried for about 5 minutes while they sat out in the street wondering what in the heck was holding me up. I finally got out of the car, waved them back in the driveway, and told them what was wrong. One of the other women gets in my car and she’s trying to turn the key for a couple of minutes and finally she asks me which key it is. At first I show her one and then a lighbulb goes off in my exhausted brain that says…duh, you only have one car key on your key ring. THESE AREN’T MY KEYS!!! We go into the house and everyone is looking for my keys and I remeber that I have a Brighton purse with me. Whenever I carry a Brighton purse they have a clip for your keys. I go out to my car….sitting on my car seat…nice and calm…plain as day (except it is dark out)…sits my Brighton purse with my keys attached. I’m still recovering from my weekend {{{smile}}}

  172. Vicki says:

Saturday morning, I helped my husband dismantle one of our cars that he took to the drag strip and broke. It needed fixed and he needed extra hands! That evening through Sunday afternoon–minus a couple of hours for snooze time–I marathon-made 20 Christmas cards for my SIL. Afterwards, I remember nothing…although my pillow keeps coming into the picture somehow……………hmmmmmmmmmm

  173. Jeanne says:

I rested and enjoyed my children. Have been busier than I should be with life–worked 64 hours last week, and was exhausted. Bummed–no time to catch up but need to rest. We watched movies, took naps and on Monday was ready to start it again. Sigh….

  174. Galit says:

What did I do, What did I do….. Lets see
On Saturday I run around doing errands, Costco, No frills and all the fun deserted stores nobody like to go to on the weekend. In the evening I met my friend at Starbucks, Had a yummy Chai Latte and then we went to see a movie – Eagle Eye – nice action movie that even I liked.
On Sunday, I had my friends & their kids over for brunch which meant I woke up at 7 am to chopped, cut, and cook breakfast for 8 adults and 4 kids. Why or why do I put myself in these situations? After we all eat, drank (getting drunk on a Chocolate Milk sugar rush is pretty fun) we went to see Madagascar 2 – where we eat some more (Popcorn, M & M and other junk) and Oh yup, we all Loved the movie!
In the evening I went to a girls night out to celebrate my friend’s birthday and we eat some more. After all it has been a few hours with No food!
All in all it was a very full, enjoyable weekend filled with friends, and lots of food! and now a new week has began…..

  175. Maryann T. says:

Spent a lot of quality time with the hubby and kids on Saturday. Then on Sunday we watched football and went to sushi for dinner with friends. It was a great weekend!

  176. Darcie says:

Just hung out with my boys, did some housework, reorganizing & worked on a couple of Christmas card orders. doesn’t sound like a whole heck of a lot, but I was busy 🙂

  177. Mary Duffek says:

I spent some quality time with my kid-lets….it was lots o fun!

  178. Kimmie says:

This weekend I had to work…..poo. I spent all day Saturday waiting on crazy patrons at the library……crazy? you say….YES, crazy with a captial C!!! Let’s just say there was threat of violence! *sigh* But on Sunday I got to stay home and STAMP!! yay!! I can’t wait to see Madagascar 2….but my kidlet is 16 now….can I borrow one of yours???

  179. Kristy says:

I had a pretty chillax’n weekend. We went over to a friends for a bbq and basically vegetated the rest of the weekend. It was a nice change from my usually hectic one.

  180. Yvonne says:

This weekend went by so quickly, but we jammed alot into it despite me being ill. After my treatment my husbnd and I took our daughter to see Madagascar 2 too! It was great! We too really enjoyed it immensely! It was definitely worth seeing watching our dd dancing and shaking her little butt while singing “I like to move it, move it…!” at top volume! 🙂

On Saturday, I was happy to have all day to rest and stamp with my daughter. I made a few Christmatini cards while my dd spent over an hour ‘orgarizing’ my Bellas. I was also pondering the possibilities of masking a bit with Babybellapumpkin, or one of the others to make a 1st Christmas card for my nephew.

On Sunday, I cleaned as much as I could between naps, and episodes of The Backyardigans on DVD. I also made several swaps that I’d been struggling to complete. Although everything exhausted me, I had such a feeling of accomplishment!

  181. This weekend we went furniture shopping and because our girls behaved so well we went and bought the KunFu Panda movie and then we took EVERY blanket in our house and layed them out on the livingroom floor and then we took EVERY single pillow from around the house and made a huge pillow pile. Then we made MONSTER sized bowls of flavoured popcorn and we all watched the movie together…It was so fun. We even had a popcorn fight…LOL

  182. angie says:

I had my boyfriend move out this weekend and went to church and ran the kids around to other church functions on Sunday. Fun huh?

  183. Wow! This weekend I hung out with my little guy and did for others. We went to visit my friend in Airway Heights. Where I completed a really cute pair of Ariel curtains for the 7 year old neighbor, then took homemade Orange Marmalade to my grandfather and cleaned up his yard (someone threw a bunch of newspaper in his yard). Then my aunt came over and I helped her laminate a book for my niece, and bind it. I then took some time to make a cute gift for my secret sister for christmas. I did laundry and watched a never ending marathon of Ninja Warrier with my son. It was the best weekend ever! Thanks for letting us share what we did and offering some blog candy!

  184. Larcy Sorensen says:

Saturday morning, we dropped puppy off for a bath and tooth (or is it teeth) brushing. Cooked breakfast and picked puppy up for an afternoon outing in Leesburg, VA. Sunday, laundry, errands…blah!

  185. scrapper al says:

Not a very exciting weekend for me. I did the usual: worked in the garden, went grocery shopping, visited family, cooked dinner. Oh yeah, and I went to a craft show and scrapbooked…how could I forget the important stuff?

  186. Tammy Nichols says:

Ok, let me make this short, cleaned house, helped build a TEEPEE, wrangled horses, stamped, drank wine with hubby, napped, hugged, kissed, my family. VOILA!

  187. Ava says:

This weekend we drove 8.5 hours from Chicago to Niagara Falls for a cousins wedding on Saturday. Had a fantabulous time! Then drove another 9 hours to get home. If only flying didn’t involve driving to the airport, parking, hauling luggage, standing in line to check in, hauling luggage, standing in line through security, waiting to board the plane, getting off again because there is a delay, boarding again, waiting to take off, finally actually flying for an hour, landing, waiting to get a gate, disembarking, waiting for your luggage, finding out your luggage went to another destination, waiting to get a rental car, taking a shuttle bus to the rental car, finding out the rental car is not the model you requested, getting another rental car, manoevering the maze called airport departure, driving an hour to get to customs/immigration, waiting in line to get into Canada, driving another hour to reach your destination. *Whew* maybe driving 9 hours is not so bad after all.
OK so that was a lot of typing… but a $50 spending spree at stampingbella is soooooo worth it! Heck, it’s even worth a 9-hour drive! LOL
    *inky hugs* Ava

  188. Ann I. says:

I came back from a conference in Palm Springs on saturday and enjoyed relaxing and doing nothing special on Sunday. Thanks for the chance to win the blog candy!!

  189. Mandi says:

I spent the weekend working on scrapbook layouts for an album for my Mom of her family. My mom was diagnosed in January at the age of 52 with the middle stages of Alzheimer’s and can no longer scrapbook because it is just too overwhelming for her. So for Christmas I am doing a scrapbook of her family but to help make her part of the process, I am just doing the layouts and then I am going to help her pick out the pictures she wants to add to the pages. So in a way that makes her part of the process. I am also including several pages I’ve completed for her. So I will be busy from her until Christmas working on that. 🙂

  190. Sue C says:

Spent the weekend watching my 10 year old grandaughter compete in a gymnastic meet. She took first place in all four events, floor, beam, uneven bars and vault. The best thing about this is 3 years ago she had a cast on both legs from her waist to her toes with a bar between them because of hip surgery. It is so wonderful what kids can overcome. A victory dinner came after.

  191. Carmen Hall says:

I had my very first craft fair this weekend which TOTALLY SUCKED! My girlfriend and I made 145 double page layouts (pre-made) and didn’t even sell ONE! I did sell my albums that I made but I only had 4 done. I also had a portion of the table set up to advertise my photography so hopefully I’ll get some calls from that. And to top it all off, I got the dates messed up for the free shipping for Bella’s!

  192. Angela Garcia says:

Does caring for 3 sick boys count as something? So glad they’re feeling better, now I can get some cards done.

  193. Katie says:

I spent the weekend in Seattle with 35 other fantastic women! It was a blast!

  194. Maureen Wong says:

With 2 new adopted kids, we don’t get to do much of anything right now! We stayed at home at home and watched a lot of TV!!

  195. lindaH says:

How could I resist this temptation! Well Paula and friends made the journey over the border on Saturday and we spent the afternoon in London with Pauline. We came back to my place, ordered pizza and wings and surprised Paula with an ice cream cake cause it’s her b’day this week! How fun is that! I spent the day with my fav stamping sistahs!

  196. Jacquie S. says:

Ok you want to know what I did this weekend. Friday I went shopping with my fiance. Saturday I cleaned the house, went to visit my uncle in the hospital with my sister, had a dinner party at my fiance’s house with friends and caught up on TV shows I had missed over the last wee. Sunday I went to the hospital again to visit my uncle but this time my mom came with me, went back to my fiance’s house, made dinner and went to the Just for Laughs Comedy festival. It was a jammed packed weekend so I couldn’t do any stamping.

  197. Sonya Lore says:

I worked all weekend but it wasn’t bad – I work part-time at my LSS to feed my addiction. Got to play with a bunch of new stuff and am totally inspired to make all my Christmas presents this year. That is my intention – not necessarily my plan.

Thanks for the chance to win.

  198. Deanna says:

I have been so ridiculously busy that I felt so bad for two friends I was keeping apart. I felt it only right that since I had nothing overly pressing this weekend, I should reunite them and delight in the magic of watching them together!

I speak of my couch and my ass… yes you heard me! I sat on my butt all weekend and just when I thought I couldn’t sit anymore… I laid down!

    So be jealous! 🙂

Hoping to get to the copic coloring class in Dec!

    Dee

  199. Katie says:

Well, this weekend was a dud for the most part. The entire family was sick except for me (I am the only girl) haha. The three little boys and the big boy spend most of the days as couch potatoes. I did manage a trip to the local scrapbooking store and that’s about all she wrote. I wish I had some monstrous huge story or news to share.

  200. Patty W says:

This weekend I did a little damage to my credit card and went shopping for warm clothes for my tiny bella baby girl – she needed some long fuzzy sleepers to keep her warm! And bought myself some craft stuff and some accessories, went home and promptly weeded out what I needed to return after having buyer’s remorse!

And hung out with my hubby and sister and beforementioned baby bella girl, and thought about cleaning up the apartment, and ate yummy weekend treat-time junk food!

Thanks for another chance to win Em!

  201. Krista says:

This past weekend we celebrated my girlfriends 50 th bday in style. Did a little shopping and got some crafty supplies to get going on those holiday gifts. Spent time at the kids classes and did the ususal laundry, grocery, and tidy up of the house.

  202. Lia S says:

This weekend was not very exciting! My father is in teh hospital, while my mother was with him I took care of my grandparents for my mom!
My nonno suffers from alzheimers……..an aweful disease!
I did sneak away to take my daughter to her last soccer game and get her first trophie!

  203. Amanda says:

Here in Washington DC we’re still reveling in the post-election madness!! But I spent a quiet weekend with my two boys gearing up for my birthday on Monday! Sunday I worked feverishly to finish a midterm exam (can you believe it a full time job, 2 kidlets, a dependant husband AND part time graduate school – whew!!) But last night (not the weekend I know!) I managed to pull out my new Bella’s to start working on a set of cards for Christmas presents!!! YAY!!!

  204. Jennie says:

This weekend was my Dad’s 55th birthay. One of his friends and I put together a surprise party for him. We gathered over 40 of his friends and family and threw a party at one of his favorite local restaurants. We had another friend of his invite him out to dinner and brought him to the resaurant where the rest of us were waiting for him. We pulled it off!! He was so surprised, and he is still talking about how cool it was to have so many friends and family who think enough of him to come celebrate his brithday. We all had a great time, and I still am smiling about making my Dad so happy!

  205. Teresa says:

We had a good weekend. Saturday was a baby shower and Sunday was our church picnic. Both were really nice. The baby shower was in Savannah, GA–about 2.5 hours away form here., so we made it a day trip with the whole family.

  206. Melissa says:

Well, I spent my whole weekend – 5 gloriously LONG days- doing laundry, baking Christmas goodies, CRAFTING and enjoying my family’s company. Normally, when the kids have a long weekend we head out to visit my parents 4 hours away but this time we decided to just stay home. We might be doing that more often. . .

Now, I woke up this morning and no buses are running due to freezing rain so I’m taking a few extra minutes before heading out to take them (and me. . .) to school!

The new BittyBlooms are absolutely adorable – I’m sending the link to my DH!

  207. Miesje says:

I know I commented once already but I had to make this little comment – you must be WAY to young to remember The Bangles!

  208. bunny says:

I went to watch Quantum of Solace! FUN! 🙂

  209. Heather Byrne says:

I got a roomie this weekend and it was all sorts of interesting cause the roomie came with a cat. and the cat is crazy….really crazy. I want some bella’s so I think i should get free monies

  210. ok so this weekend I did not get as much crafting accomplished as I’d hope but had a great weekend with family none the less. The weather has turned cold here so we couldn’t do much outside. What’s better than that – shopping! Saturday we went shopping to get a few things for the DD, cat & the house. While we were shopping my parents called and surprised us by coming to visit. They wanted us to meet them for dinner at Olive Garden. I was so in the mood for the salad and breadsticks so was very happy to go! Sunday my hubby and I took our daughter to see Madagascar 2. The time was originally sold out so we went to the grocery store, home to drop off the groceries and then back to the movie. You are so right, Em, that movie is hiliarious! My hubby and I kept looking at each other and laughing at the jokes that my 5 yr. old obviously didn’t get. I’m glad we went and saw it..now we just have to wait for it to come out on dvd as that’s another one we need for the collection! That’s basically my weekend in a nutshell – would love to win the gc as I could use a shopping spree for myself right now!

  211. Stephanie R says:

This weekend I stamped a lot and made some cards! It was so nice! I plan on getting some more made next weekend and finish up my Christmas cards!
    thanks 😉

  212. ettiene says:

This weekend I was extreamly busy. We painted two of our bathrooms in our new house and did a giant fall cleaning on the house so now it looks even brand spanking newer than it did before. Than we had my MOH and her fiance over for pizza and a round of mario kart on the Wii. Unfortunatly they dont even have a Wii and they beat me. Then on Suday we went to the New York Jets game with my brother who is home from england for a couple weeks and watched them win. It was a very busy weekend and now I am recovering so that I can get right back to being busy this coming weekend.

  213. Jessica G says:

This weekend I didn’t get in as much stamping as I’d like (do we ever??), but I did get to play in a few of the WRAK challenges — fun, fun!

  214. Sabena says:

This weekend I met up with a Sistah and made some Bella Christmas cards, and then came home to get ready to go out for a Diamond Dinner (how can a sistah pass up on an opportunity to win a diamond, and all the proceeds go to a good cause?!?!) Sadly I didn’t win this year (but I won the first year *woohoo*) On Sunday, it was stay at home and stay warm with the hubby and watch movie day- just needed some time to unwind. Oh yeah, and get hooked on PCP- ack, now I’ll nevah have the time for the housework hehehehehe

  215. Kathy Stein says:

This past weekend we celebrated my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. Can you believe it? It’s not heard of often, couples being married for 50 years, so my hats off to them for making it this far.

  216. I haven’t been home all month and I finally spent my first weekend in my OWN bed!!! 🙂 So I spent the weekend just chillax-ing and hanging out with friends. It was great!

  217. Dawn Nikol says:

This past weekend I enjoyed Cheesecake Factory with my husband and did some shopping with my Mom at a Craft Show that was in town!! I got some fabulous recycled doors that have been painted on and turned into one of a kind art for my scrap room!!! Then on Sunday we had chinese for dinner… mmmmmm!!!!!

  218. Anne says:

Actually got quite a bit accomplished this weekend! Confinced hubby to finally install a shelf in my daughter’s room (took quite a bit of time and effort), and got three scrapbook pages pretty much done! WOOHOO!!!!!

  219. Lisa B. says:

This weekend I went in my first ever craft fair! It was a challenge but I love a challenge. Sold enough to cover my costs! Yay! Then it was relaxing and creating time….made a couple cards…colored a couple bella’s…just the “usual” 🙂

  220. Tanis P says:

This weekend I managed to get a whole bunch of errands done, including some crafting =) It feels like forever since I’ve had a chance and I hammered out 24 Thank You cards for my uncle’s business!

  221. Shelley says:

    Hello Miss Em,
I have to say I had a great weekend. I went to my first card class at She Runs With Scissors and luved it so much I signed up for 2 more classes. Kristy has FAB ideas and she sells DA BELLAS.
    Thanks for asking :~)

  222. Kelly Braund says:

Well, my husband was away hunting for the weekend, so I had a long weekend with the 3 kiddos. We had a slumber party, watching movies and eating Halloween candy, we made homemade pizzas and we just hung out all weekend!

  223. Otter says:

ABSOLUTLY NOTHING!! And it felt GRRRREAT!!!!

  224. Jenn says:

Well, let’s see. I stamped out 50 teacher bella’s and colored them in – they will be made into bookmarks for the teachers at my son’s school. Oy vey! Oh, and that was while sitting in my hotel room in Washington DC at night while the kidlet slept on our mini vacation.

    Can you say tired??!?!?!

  225. I had the BEST weekend!!! The kidlets and I left town on Thursday afternoon and headed to the big City of Boise ID for some R&R!!! I scrapped my little happy heart away while they swam in an indoor pool at our hotel.. Bliss!
And we did lots of playing, shopping, and fun restauranting!!!!!

  226. Julie Masse says:

Hey Em – your weekend sounds much better than mine!! I was a board mtg for all of Saturday morning and then just hanging out at home the rest of the time. Not too bad, but not very exciting! 🙂

  227. Penny P says:

oooohhh!! Emily I can’t wait to see all the new stuff. This weekend was pretty exciting, I started on my very first scrapbook and managed to complete 4 pages…..then I finished a bunch of mini cards for my friends baby shower….so I’m feeling pretty proud of myself. Still, I don’t know if those will top my new stuff excitement. See ya soon

  228. Kate Baldwin says:

Love the stamp book! Thanks Em! You rule!!

  229. Shannon says:

    Hello,

I had a migraine on Friday and Saturday-so just tried to sleep it off on Sat. It worked ’cause I felt great on Sunday. Hubby & I spent the day at the zoo. It was a lovely day here in Denver, CO. I just discovered your stamps & website a few months ago-due to a great scrapbooking store in the Denver suburbs. I love your products!

Well, I made a covered day planner and composition book as a gift for someone, watched some TV, went to a hockey game with my dh and grandson and finished a really good book.
Cannot wait for the new stuff.

  231. Lana D says:

I cleaned my scrapbook room so I could actually use it!

Oh and I did logg in to my account for bellas several times…checking…and hoping my processing when it would change to ship LOL…Im just a little anxious LOL…for my order…

Friday was my 30th birthday, so my hubbie and I went to Chicago for diner and Wicked.

  234. Hi Emily,

I have spend most of my weekend with the preparations for my sisters b’day on the 12th of November. I made here a build-a-bella card kit, a store-a-bella can, a bella card and wrapped all of the nine presents I got her! It was a busy weekend but I just love to make and give things to people that I love!

    Bella hugs,

    Jessica aka Glitter Bella

  235. Robyn A says:

I spent my weekend with a nephew and his son visiting and helping us finish off some renovations and then the Sunday afternoon was spent going for a drive to visit our children. Great weekend all round with family.

  236. jami rudd says:

    Hey Em,

This weekend was super busy. I had my girlfriends 30th birthday party. We went to dinner, a comedy club, then dancing. We had a sitter for the night, so we got to stay out late:) Then Sunday my husband and I took the kids to Henry Ford to see an movie and t.v exhibit. Busy, Busy!

  237. Em, OMG I loooooved the Bangles back in the day. Manic Monday and Walk Like and Egyptian were my favs. Hmm… maybe I should ad those to my ipod….
What did I do over the weekend? As little as possible really. I did have to do laundry and such but mainly I got crafty. I sat down and finished my Thanksgiving cards and made a lot of progress on my Christmas ones. I’m making acetate cards for Christmas this year. First time making those so I’m super excited.
Well, that’s pretty much it. I’m supposed to be leaving for work right now, gotta goooo……

  238. Kathleen says:

Ahhhh, last weekend—I had to actually look at my calendar to see what I did—how sad is that? My daugther was in the Fall play at her school—“A Merchant in Venice” by Shakespeare. It was set in 1934 and it was fabulous! A couple friends and I put together the Intermission—will Italian desserts, no less….let’s just say, exhausting! SO, Saturday, I tried to recover and then Sunday is a busy day for us with church activities….that’s my weekend! I can’t wait to see Madagascar 2—it looks hysterical!! Hugs~

  239. Jennifer R. says:

I flew to my home town, Pittsburgh, and got to see my best friend and meet her new little girl !!!! It was soooo fun to be with her again ~ it was way too long since we had spent time together. I just got back around 1:30am this morning and am exhausted but thrilled to be with my three little ones again. I showed my friend your blog and website while I was there and we were picking out all our favorite stuff. Now I have to get busy doing laundry and cleaning and unpacking. Way too excited to see your new Scrapping Bella stuff !!

  240. peachybella says:

Ok so I re-read your next blog entry and came back here to put my comment in. I didn’t do anything overly exciting like you did because I had to work… I did however come home to a wonderful dinner prepared by hubby – he was off and decided to treat me to a nice home cooked dinner that “I” did not have to prepare! YAY!

  241. Michele B says:

Hmmm…what did I do….well the never ending loads of laundry that accumulates with two little boys, organizing my crafting room, getting ready to go on vacation (just me and another mommy – no kids, no husbands, no dogs and no work!!). Got to go visit my folks and had a great roast beef dinner. Would have loved to get a little stamping or scrapping going, but ran out of time. Too much ambition for too little weekend.

    Cheers!
    Michele

  242. Em says:

This weekend I caught up on sleep… 18 hours on Saturday alone! So that was half of my weekend shot right there. It has to be the time change…..

I did get some leaves cleaned up, and after 11 bags of them, decided to go in and you guessed it…. nap.

On Sunday I did get to finish up my Christmas cards, watch a movie, do laundry and play with my dog Bella in the backyard (where there are still leaves btw… oh well, always next weekend!)

Thanks for the new stamps you recently unveiled, and the free shipping to help with some of my holiday shopping!

Here’s to a weekend where I am awake for a few more hours I hope 😉

    Thanks!
    Em

I studied for an exam I’m having this week!

  244. Hi there, how are you?? Hope you are well!!! This weekend, on Firday night specifically, we took my 6 yr old daughter to see a Christmas Musical! We took Kyah to see “Voices of Christmas” and she LOVED it!! The vocalists were phenom and the dancers were too!!! The theater we took her to does shows with live animals, so the sleigh was carried by a beautiful white mule. She was thrilled!!
Saturday and Sunday we spent at home with Kyah and the twins. Kali and Kade were just getting over being sick and I was getting over learning how to take care of 2 (sick) at once!! Quite interesting when they both want consoled at the same time, without sharing, of course!!! Have a great day and thanks for your generosity!! Take care and stay well!!

  245. Crafty Math Chick says:

My husband and I looked for a rug for the dining room and napkin rings (I am cooking Thanksgiving for my in-laws for the first time this year, our new home isn’t completely set up yet, and I want everything to be perfect). Not very exciting eh?

  247. Well, it’s almost time for another weekend but I still wanted to tell you what I did LAST weekend! 🙂 Most importantly, last weekend I placed a Bella order! Woohoo! Hehe. I had a great weekend! I got to spend some much deserved alone time. I went shopping at my LSS & bought hockeymomabella. My DH & I took our 3 little guys outside to play in the fallen leaves. We buried them in piles of leaves, took pictures, and then had a leaf throwing fight. Super fun! We also took the older two boys to a Capitals hockey game. My 2-1/2 year old is over the moon about Zamboni’s. I mean he wakes up talking about them & wants to search the internet for pictures of them. It was a memorable family weekend! Thanks for offering up some scrumpcious blog candy 🙂

I enjoyed a quiet weekend, as I was returning back to work after a month’s vacation. I wasn’t a “happy camper”, that’s for sure!! I did manage to get some reading done, so that was great as I haven’t had much time to read at all!

  253. Rachel says:

I headed to the Alki Beach in Seattle to look for sea glass and snap some pics for a paint chip album I am putting together. 🙂 I found tons of beautiful glass and lots of interesting stuff for the album. It was an awesome weekend. 🙂

On Saturday was my daughter’s birthday and so we had a party for her and then in the later afternoon I was off to a baby shower. Let’s just say that we all slept really good that night 🙂 We actually had until Tuesday off this past weekend so from Sunday till Tuesday my hubby had to work, so the kids and I just hung around the house, played some games, watched a movie and chilled. It was Glorious!!

  257. Sandra L-M says:

My weekend was great! On Friday, I took my daughters to a local church to make beds for a homeless shelter. Then went to the movies to see Madagascar 2 followed by dinner at Culver’s. Saturday morning was a whirlind getting ready for a party Saturday night. We got to the party around 8:30 at night and stayed until 3:00 in the morning. There was extremely good food and lots of dancing. Fortunately we went to church on Saturday before the party so Sunday I was able to rest and rest and rest. Thanks for the chance to win some goodies! Sandra

    Emily,

I LOVE THE NATIONAL WOMEN’S SHOW! Yup, that’s me screaming. I live in Thunder Bay and myself and 4 girlfriends usually fly down for it each year, but my mom got sick this year and I couldn’t go. If you’re in the show next year, can I volunteer to work at your booth – yup, FREE! I love the show…such great stuff. Last year we watched a lady get Botox, right there on the little table they had set up. Crazy!

Now that I know you might be there, I’m super excited to make plans for next year!

    Danielle
