Today Sandiebella teaches us how to make a beautiful FRAME FLIP CARD  featuring our new TINY TOWNIE ASTROLOGY CHART

This card is simple to make and so pretty to display or give to a loved one!

Supplies:

Tiny Townie Astrology Chart rubber stamps (set of 3 stamps)

Card

Designer paper

Scoring board and bone folder

Wet glue/double sided tape

How to:

Stamp the astrology chart onto a piece of white card measuring 3.25″(H) x 4.25″(W). Stamp the Tiny Townie image and sentiment onto a piece of white card measuring 4.5″(H) x 5.5″(W). Color the images with your preferred medium.

Cut two pieces of card measuring 5″ x 11.5″ and two more pieces measuring 5″ x 6.5″

Score the 5″ x 6.5″ pieces on the long side at 0.5″ and 3″.

Score the 5″ x 11.5″ in pieces on the long side at 6″ and 8.5″

Frame:

Cut another piece of card, and a piece of designer paper measuring 5″ x 6″. With a pencil, mark in 0.75″ from each edge to create a rectangle. Alternatively, score at 0.75″ on the four sides as shown below.

Using a craft knife, remove the inner rectangle on both the card and paper pieces.

On the 5″ x 11.5″ pieces, fold in the 6″ score line and fold back the 8.5″ score line.

On the 5″ x 6.5″ pieces, fold in the 3″ score line and fold back the 0.5″ score line.

Adhere the 6″ section of each long piece together.

Apply adhesive to the 3″ end section and adhere the 3.5″ section of the smaller piece to it – lining up the outside edges. Repeat on the opposite end of the long piece with the other small piece. Ensure the fold lines meet when the font section is closed.

There will be 0.5″ difference between the front and back pieces you just stuck together.

Adhere the paper frame to the card frame.

Open back the two 0.5″ sections and apply adhesive to them.

Adhere the frame to the 0.5″ sections only.

4.75″ x 3.25″ white card

4.5″ x 3″ patterned paper

4.75″ x 2.25″ white card

4.5″ x 2″ patterned paper

1 each of –

5.75″ x 4.75″ white card

5.5″ x 4.5″ patterned paper.

Adhere all the panels down onto the card base.

To fold the card, push in the sides and to open it up, pull out the sides.

Back of card when folded up.

Front of card when folded up.

Take the astrology card and cut it directly down the centre.

Adhere to each side of the front panel, ensuring they meet in the middle.

Mat the image onto white card measuring 4.75″ x 5.75″ and adhere to the inside back.

Decorate the front of the card if desired.
