SUNDAY with TAMIBELLA

it’s SUNDAY with TAMIBELLA! Featuring our ODDBALL BIRTHDAY QUEEN

www.stampingbella.com: rubber stamp used ODDBALL BIRTHDAY QUEEN card by Tamara Potocnik

Hi!
Tamara here with you sharing a Birthday card that I made for my daughter. She turned 8 yesterday and I wanted to make something special for her so I used one of the super fun images from Oddball collection called Birthday Queen. That’s exactly what she was today – Birthday Queen! 8 is a very important age, so there can’t be a cute baby image on her card. Image has to be fun, different, stylish (just look at her boots) and appropriate for the little lady. lol

I wanted to make my card very colourful (not my usual style), so I used different pinkinsh design papers for the layout and for the balloons and number.

Image was stamped using Archival Ink – Jet Black on 300g HP watercolour paper and then coloured up using Distress ink pads.

Distress Ink pads colours used:
skin: vintage photo
cheeks: worn lipstick
hair: barn door, fired brick
dress: picked raspberry, black soot
crown: fossilized amber, spiced marmalade
shoes: black soot
cake: picked raspberry, gathered twigs

I added some white dots to the hair and some glitter glue to the crown. The most important thing is – she loved the card!

Hugs, t.
