Tamara here with you today. For this week’s post I made a Christmas card featuring Holiday Owl Sending a Card rubber stamp.
I made a shaker card with this image and I added all my favourite shaker items inside it (diamonts, lolipops, hearts and clear sequins). Image was stamped with Archival Ink – Jet black and then coloured up using Distress ink pads.

Distress ink colours used:
owl: spiced marmalade, tea dye
letter: black soot
mailbox: barn door, fired brick, black soot
background: broken china
I added a sentiment from Christmas camper rubber stamp set “We wish you a Merry Christmas”. I embossed it on a red cardstock with white embossing powder.
I added some glitter glue around the shaker to make it a bit more festive or just because I love the glitter. lol

Tamara, your creation is STUNNING! I can literally smell the faint aroma of peppermint. Your shading is just beautiful. Emily, your artwork is MARVELOUS. I’m constantly in awe of the fine details you bring forth with your little critters and every image that comes from your talented hands. The little owl’s feet—you can just see him slowing down to deposit his precious letter—are adorable. Fine craftsmanship from two lovely ladies! Blessings to both of you!
I LOVE shaker cards & I love yours too! I love the embellishments that look like peppermint cause I keep thinking they will smell like peppermint candies. This is a cute card! Whoever gets this card will love it!
