Amy here and it’s time for another Scenic Saturday card. With October only days away I figured it was time to get my spooky on with a fun Halloween card. My initial plan was to grab either Willow the Witch or some of the Halloween Little Bits but as I flipped through my stamps Tiny Townie Dorothy the Dreamer caught my eye. What if that furry friend behind her wasn’t imaginary but a real life fantastical beast who is helping this little witch to do her spell studies? That seems pretty Halloweeny to me, LOL! So I stamped them up and then added a few scene builders from the Little Bits Haunted House Outdoor Decorations to help up the magic factor in this scene. All that was left to color in was her wand, some potion bottles and of course a spooky glow coming from the pages of the spell book Dorothy is reading. No altering was needed to transform this image into something with a bit more spooky cuteness, all it took is some creative pairing with other, more seasonal stamps, and a color palette that brings to mind Halloween festivities. So keep looking at your stamps with fresh eyes and who knows what clever and creative ways you will find for them!
