SCENIC SATURDAYS with AMYBELLA

It’s SCENIC SATURDAY with AMYBELLA!

www.stampingbella.com: rubber stamp used: ODDBALL WITCH, ODDBALL CINDERELLA, SMUDGE AND CRYSTAL ODDBALL. Card by Amy Young

Hello bellas! Amy here and I am continuing with the Halloween cards on this Scenic Saturday. This time around I went to my collection of Oddballs because I knew I had a cute Oddball Witch that was still waiting to get inked. As I was searching for her I also came across the newer Smudge and Crystal Oddball. She isn’t technically a Halloween image but with that hat it was easy enough to color her up in some traditional Halloween colors to create the transformation. Just like that I had two spooky sisters ready to haunt the night. But before I could put my book of stamps away Oddball Cinderella with her broom also caught my eye… how cute would she be as a little, old granny witch? All I had to do was wipe away the shoe from her hand before stamping then sketch in a simple wand instead. I gotta say, the three of them together just crack me up. It looks like they are posing for a witchy family portrait on Halloween night, LOL!

By now I think you know how much I enjoy finding ways to take a stamp and make it work for an unintended card theme. That becomes even easier when you pair up two or more stamps, one in your intended theme with one that is not. In this case, one Halloween witch easily lends her Halloween magic to two other images. Once again it’s all about getting the most mileage out of our stamps as you can. 🙂

Stay crafty my friends!

This is such a cute card; I absolutely love the Oddballs; there’s very few that I don’t possess. I love the way you made their transformation and the coloring. The stone wall behind is a wonderful accent as well; was that a stamp or did you draw it in yourself. Thank you for sharing and please stay safe.
