but I need to talk to my sistahs about something. You know that i believe in the “pay it forward” theory.. where I can help, I always help and do and give etc. My Bellas are my babies as you can understand and I really want to protect them and make sure that they go to a good home etc (LOL.. really nutty, eh?). But most importantly, they expect to be acknowledged.. I know that this is SO NOT my style of email but I need to be serious for a moment. All of my sistahs have been nothing but supportive, kind, thankful, fabuloso, inspiring etc.. and I do read your blogs and see the kind words and the referrals etc. and I know that you do this from the bottom of your hearts and that is why I so love you all. I have noticed that some cards have been posted on blogs without accrediting my image. Now, you realize, I don’t need attention, I am actually quite shy (STOP LAUGHING), and really try to keep to myself (OK, NOW I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOUR LAUGHING). SO please, just think about it. No one is forcing anyone to post a bella card.. I only want you to do it with pleasure. If you can’t give the bella her deserved credit, then please don’t post her.
I know I am talking in circles.. I am just a little disappointed at the moment and really hope you ladies understand where i am coming from. I worked and continue to work so hard to maintain my website, to maintain my connection with all of you, to keep you all happy cuz when the sistahs IS happy, I be happy. So please, when you are thinking of posting a Bella card, just give credit to the Bella.. she will really appreciate it

Everyone should be credited for their work, and you shouldn’t feel bad about wanting it!
I always put some sort of watermark on all cards that I post. Is there a particular copyright statment that you would like us to use?

I agree, which is why I have a “Bella” watermark that I use on all of my bella creations that I post on my blog.
Great job Em! We totally agree and probably most comply! I’m guessing others may not know how to do watermarks???? Anyway, here’s hoping they figure it out! I guess I’m noticing my watermark is a little small so I’ll enlarge it so people won’t miss ya! 🙂

Of course you’re right to ask this Emilie! It’s only logical that you would want the wonderful Bella’s (and yourself ;)) to get all the credit you deserve! I have a link on my site to yours, and under “comments” in my photo album I write which Bella I’ve used. Is that okay, or should I be using a watermark? Some guidelines would be much appreciated, so I can spread the Bella-word 😉

Now bear with me cause I am new to this posting on website stuff…..so let’s say I make something with my bellas and I post it on the stamp shack (which by the way I did) lol and I say…here is my bella isn’t she adorable or something like that…. should I be saying http://www.stampingbella.com? kwim? or is it ok just to say… I love my bellas and this is what I made with my bellas? Now everyone don’t laugh……. remember I am new to this.

I’m sorry to hear that this has been happening. I think that whatever stamp from whatever company you use, there should be some credits and I always try to make an effort to say where all the stamps from a certain card are from.
Have only posted my cards on Splitcoast (where everyone knows about Bellas and knows your site) but if you want me to put a link to your site I can. Love your girls and would never want to hurt you or them!!!

Also it helpful if someone see’s the Bella cards , they are going want to know where to purchase the image’s.
It helps the blog reader to find where to purchase the Bellas.

Oh I just read this post after I sent you a letter from the last post. I love your bellas and I am very proud to have them on my blog and I make sure that everyone who visits knows that they are bellas and where they can get them. 🙂 Thank you Emily for making such an awesome product. You were right to write what you did, I am sure that everyone understands and I an sure the people who did not mention that the stamps were bellas just forgot. Thanks for the reminder.

Gosh…sure hope I haven’t done that; I’ve done a lot with the *bellas* lately- they’re knew to me, but I always try to post your website whenever I use them. I’ll be more careful and make sure I always include the information.
I have never posted a bella, but I would give credit for all of them. I just order my first round of bellas and can’t wait to use them. Are there instructions somewhere on how to make the watermark everyone is refering too? Thanks!
