FALALA Sentiment Cut-It-Out Die
Christmas themed patterned papers
Ribbon & Twine
Scoring board and bone folder
Pencil and ruler
Crop-a-dile or other hole punch
Cut one piece of card measuring 8″ x 11.5″
Score on the long side at 0.5″, 5″, 6.5″ and 11″
Score on the short side at 2″ and 4″
Fold and crease score lines.
Taking a ruler and pencil, measure 1 7/8″ from each side of the centre scorelines.
Using the ruler as a guide, score diagonally from the 1 7/8″ pencil mark, to the intersecting scoreline, as shown.
Fold the diagonal scorelines both ways to loosen the card.
Fold in each side
2 x pieces of patterned paper measuring 3 5/8″ x 4 1/8″
Adhere the paper to the white card to make front and back panels.
Adhere the front and back panels, paying attention to the direction of the paper when the bag is upright.
Stamp Santa onto white card and colour using your preferred medium
Use the coordinating die to cut the image out, or fussy cut with precision scissors.
Fold in the outer panels, apply adhesive to the 0.5″ section of the bag top, and stick to the inside.
Decorate the front of the bag as desired and adhere Santa using 3D foam tape or dots.
Cut 2x pieces of coordinating patterned paper for the top 0.5″ section, front and back.
Using a crop-a-dile or other hole punch, make 2 holes through both the front and back of the bag.
Cut out the FALALA sentiment and adhere to the bag.
