Marker Geek Monday: Colouring Tiny Townie Huggy Friends with Copics (video)

Happy Monday! Elaineabella here with the latest Marker Geek Monday post, so even if it isn’t actually that happy, it soon might be. 😉

I had intended to show you something else today, but I haven’t quite got my lighting/desk/camera setup right and so didn’t manage to film anything over the weekend. I do however, have a new video to show you featuring the colouring of one of the latest images I did for the release. Fingers crossed my plans will be a little more successful this week!

For this first post of the year, I’m sharing my colouring video for one of the gorgeous Zodiac Girls released in early December. These images have been among my favourites to colour, and I hope the colouring videos will inspire you to create with them.

Marker Geek Monday: Holiday 2017 Colouring Videos

Hi! I’m still in the process of moving house, and thoroughly fed up with it. As a result, I haven’t had time (or the necessary mojo) to prepare anything fun for you today. Well, I say that, but I know you do love colouring videos! I’m still editing and uploading colouring videos for the Holiday 2017 release at Stamping Bella, so I thought I would share the YouTube playlist here for you to catch up with those.

You can watch the videos in the playlist below or in HD over on YouTube.

Happy stamping, colouring and creating!

Marker Geek Monday: Colouring Tiny Townie Rita using Coloured Pencils

Marker Geek Monday time! As promised in my recent Stamp It Saturday post, today I’m sharing a coloured pencil colouring video for my Tiny Townie Rita winter scene.

Here’s a look at the finished colouring:

Stamping Bella Marker Geek Monday Colouring Tiny Townie Rita and the Reindeer in a Winter Scene using Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils

Stamp Used: Tiny Townie Rita and the Reindeer (coordinating die also available).

Colouring Video:

You can watch me colouring the scene in the video below or in HD over on YouTube. Please excuse the fact that from time to time my hair gets in the way! This is a longer video, and I’m sorry to all of you who wish for real time videos – I have had to speed up the footage, or the video would have been 2 hours long.

TIP: Should you try colouring on a kraft/tan paper or any other different shade from the usual white, I highly recommend creating a swatch/colour chart on the same paper first. That way you can see exactly how the colours behave. For this piece I have used Strathmore Toned Tan paper.

Note: the background was created as shown in my Stamp It Saturday post, by masking using a stencil and Distress Oxide inks.

Firstly, here’s gorgeous little Tiny Townie Hattie loves Halloween.
