It’s GUEST STAR SUNDAY with Tamara!

Hi!

Those of you who know me personally know that I absolutely loveeeee cats. I’ve always had cats and curently I have a 1 year old ginger named Roxy. I colour almost all cat images orange. hehe … For today’s card I chose one of the stuffies called Marmalade the kitty.

Image was coloured using Distress ink pads on 300g HP watercolour paper. I added lots of die cuts and paper flowers to embellish my card.

Sentiment comes with the image and I often use it with other images too.

Hugs, t.

Hi!

Tamara here with you again. For this week’s feature I made a Hello card using Curvy Girl is Busy. I really like these curvy girls, they are so real and there are always perfect sentiments to match them. Image was stamped with Archival ink and coloured using Distress ink pads. I chose my favourite pink-black colour combination.

I added quite a few die cuts to match the awesome sentiment.

I think I might make another one and send it to my friend. hehe …

Hugs, t.

it’s GUEST STAR SUNDAY with JESSIE BANKS- featuring our new ODDBALL TURTLE!

Hey everyone! Jessie here. I am nearing the end of my guest spot with Stamping Bella, it has been so much fun playing with all these wonderful stamps! Of course, I will be playing with them even after this awesome opportunity.
Today I brought out the watercolours again, to paint up the Oddball Turtle. I love this guy, he is like my spirit animal.

I gave my green little friend an adorable orange/brown shell, painting it all up with my Daniel Smith watercolours. Working in layers, letting everything dry between layers. I find it so relaxing to spend hours painting up cards.
Next week, I will be back with some copic colouring to share.
Make sure you check out the Stamping  Bella store for all the fun Oddball images!

Hugz,
Jessie

it’s GUEST STAR SUNDAY WITH ROSIE!

Happy Sunday everyone! It’s Rosie here again with my last post as a Guest for the month of April. I had an amazing time, and look forward to creating more Stamping Bella projects throughout the year. A huge THANK YOU to Em, Sandiebella, and all the ladies on the Design Team for giving me this opportunity and being so supportive! It’s been awesome!
I love altering those cheap 8×8 wood frames from Walmart and Michaels. I knew when I was collecting the Zodiac Girls that I wanted to customize a frame for each girl. It’s going to be a long process, but I can’t wait to share each frame when they are finished! Since I’m a December 14th baby, I decided to start with Uptown Zodiac Girl Sagittarius.
 Copics:
Skin: E50, E00, E01, E11, E13
Hair: Black, C7, BG13
Dress/Boots: BG10, BG32, BG34, BG72, BG75, BG78
Gold Marker
After coloring the image, I painted the 8×8 frame with a couple of coats of Gold Metallic Paint.
I found various zodiac and starry night digital papers on Etsy, and printed them off. Then I cut some 2″ x 2″ squares and 1.25″ x 2″ rectangles. I rounded the corners so they fit on the frame correctly. Next I cut out a 3.75″ x 3.75″ square piece for the center of the frame, and rounded the corners. I heat embossed the sentiment with Gold Embossing Powder. Then I added the glittery foam words and stars.
To finish off the altered frame, I raised Sagittarius on foam tape for extra dimension.
Be sure to head over to the StampingBella Store and grab your Zodiac girl….you’re going to love her! These gorgeous girls are versatile for so many different occasions.
Have a great Sunday!
