Thursdays with Sandiebella

Hiya sistahs, happy Thursday-with-Sandiebella 1

Today Sandiebella teaches us how to make A one sheet gift bag ! All links below
This set is simple to make and so pretty to give yummy treats to a loved one

Supplies:
12×12 sheet of paper per bag
Crop-a-dile
White twine

Star/Tag Dies

How to:

Stamp Mini Oddball and His Frog and Mini Oddball has a Present onto white card and colour using your preferred medium. Fussy cut around the edges of each image and set aside.

Each bag uses a 12″ x 12″ sheet of paper.

Apply adhesive along one side of the inside.

Gently fold in each side until the side with the tape overlaps the other end. Adhere the ends together.

Fold up approx 3″ from the bottom and crease with a bone folder.

Open up the folded section and push the sides inwards as shown. Crease well.

Fold up the bottom triangle to the score line, crease well.

.

Apply double sided tape to the narrow end of the top triangle and fold down so that it overlaps the bottom by about 0.5″. Adhere and burnish well.

Put your hand inside the bag and push out the bottom until it is squared.

Score the top of the bag at 0.75″ and 1.5″. If you want the bag to be shorter, trim it down before scoring.

Fold the bag on the 0.75″ and 1.5″ lines and then use a crop-a-dile to punch 2 holes.

Tie some twine though the holes to secure the bag closed.
For decoration, use a piece of contrasting patterned paper to make a band around the bag.

Cut a star shape from white card and another from contrasting paper. Cut the paper star at an angle and adhere half onto the card star.

Punch a hole at the top of the star and thread some thing through.

Adhere the image to the star, using foam tape

Thread each end of the twine on the star through the holes at the top of the bag and tie at the back of the bag.

Decorate as desired.
