2011 HERE WE COME!

Sistahs,

another year has passed.  Where did all the time go?  hmph.  Kids are a year older, business is a year older.. I AM A YEAR OLDER.. I guess it is better than the alternative right? right!

I hope you are all celebrating tonight with your loved ones.. we are going to a friends house tonight and having about 25 people.. should be fun!  Actually very excited to welcome the new year.. new resolutions, new goals, new everything.  It is the time that the page is turned and we face new challenges.. and conquer them.

Not sure if any of you have made a list of “resolutions” for 2011 but here are some of mine (in no particular order AFTER #1..LOL) .  Would love to hear what da sistahs goals are!

(1) spend more time with my family.  It has been a CRAZY last 6 years and I can finally take some time to make them my priority (they have always been my priority but you know what I mean)… A lot of things have “fallen through the cracks” and I need to be HOME more and ENJOY them more.. they are getting so old (getting a little teary 🙁 )

(2) live simply. “collect less”.. use what i have MORE.. and enjoy the simple things.  PURGE and CLEAN the stuff I don’t need and reorganize

(3) be healthy. Kick some bad habits and adopt some good ones.  I would usually say LOSE WEIGHT LOSE WEIGHT LOSE WEIGHT.  I am going to alter my focus and focus on HEALTH in general.. the rest should come by naturally (we can only hope!) LOL

(4) BLOG more. YUP I promise

(5) make art every day.  whether it be journaling, smearing paint on paper, making a beeyootiful card.. anything.  I have realized over the last year and a half that I NEED this in my life and I am going to make the time for myself.

(6) make more videos for you to enjoy and learn. Education is really important to me.. I am constantly learning new things and I would like to share it with you.  So stay tuned.

(7) HUG more

(8) be more ORGANIZED.  I think this will be my biggest hurdle LOL

(9) continue to bring you the BEST PRODUCTS EVAH

(10)  pay it forward.  Help people who need help.  Even just a little bit. AND make sure that the person does the same for the next person.

I am still thinking about what else I need to do.. this list will be evergrowing 🙂

Again my sistahs, I thank you again for your SUPPORT, LOVE and LOYALTY in 2010.  I have a LOT of AMAZING things planned for this year.. there is ONE thing I think will KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF.. and we are going to have a GIGANTIC release in January for CHA.. stay tuned.

I am now leaving you with my new Favorite Song.. I find it so inspiring.. I just wanna stand on the desk and sing! LOL.  The DOG DAYS are OVER by Florence and the machine.  ENJOY!

Happy New Year Em! I wish I was a goal oriented person but I just sort of take each day as it comes wake up and say…well Linda, what you feel like doing today! LOL! sounds funny, but it is true! I do really like some of yours though and may keep them lingering in my head for days that I can’t decide.

    Luv ya!

Happy New Year. Good luck with the resolutions. I could certainly use a few of them, trying to eat healthier is one of my goals.

Your list is VERY similar to mine LOL! I am starting the “use what I have” mantra…right after I get all of my after Christmas sale orders! 🙂 Organization of the craft room has started…the healthy eating will resume tomorrow (reaching my goal weight is my goal this year!)…more creating and less hesitating are on my list too! Last and most important – be happy with what I accomplish every day! Happy New Year! 2011 is gonna be FABULOUS.

Happy New Year Stamping Bella Crew! I don’t make too many new year’s resoultions, as I’m always making adjustments thought the year, but I really do need to stay out of the mall! lol:) so one of my plans for 2011, is when I’m not at work, I’m not at the mall. LOL:)
I need to make more time for my family, house and me! So that mean’s saying no! No to people that want me to do things for them, which is going to be very hard as I have a really hard time saying no! Or i’ll jump in and volunteer myself instead of standing back like most of the other people do! I really need to purge and organize my stuff, my label maker will be coming out of the draw! Here’s to a great 2011!

  10. Happy New Year, Em. 🙂

Happy New Years Em! I know 2011 will bring great things from Stamping Bella. I just made one resolution this year and it is to create at least once per week. Be watching for some Stamping Bella artwork from me! I have a trip planned to Buffalo in February. Weather permitting, I hope to visit you! Love you and here’s to great things for all the sistahs in 2011!!!

Well, I’m a little late with this but I’ll tell ya that I am right with ya on the use or loose mantra. After packing the craft room up for the move I realized that I have tons (literally – just ask the husband who had to move it) of paper and stuff. I need to focus more on using and then replacing. I’ve also been a terrible housekeeper cuz I’ve been hibernating in my room to create and neglecting my other duties. I’d like to keep up with that better and set a creating schedule. Our new town has lots more outdoor places to visit and I’d like to spend my husband’s free time with him. He’s my best friend.

I can’t wait to see what’s in store for your January release (they are always so wonderful). And most importantly, I wish you the best success in the new year – especially at CHA.

    Happy New Year everyone!
