just wanted to share some pictures of our VACAY.. I promise I won’t bore you to death.. And AJ TOOSDAY will come laytah.. promise!
So we went to Ogunquit, Maine, as I mentioned…. beach, hotel, LOBSTAH, great weathAH.. who could ask for more? On our way to Ogunquit, we stopped in Albany and in Boston… have I mentioned how much I LOOOVE Boston? But first a little bit about Albany..
We stayed at the holiday inn and When I saw the room key .. I said, this was meant to be.. I NEEDED that room key with me at all times!
I knew that only good things were to happen from there.. a little foreshadowing..
And now a little bit about Boston!
And now for Maine… I can’t explain how I feel when I go to Maine.. it brings back wonderful childhood memories.. the smell.. the shops.. the food.. I just feel like I “belong” there.. if that makes sense.
so that’s a little snapshot of our week!
Glad I could share with you 🙂
And I just wanted to end with this note.. just sayin’
oh oh and one more thing! I saw this in a store window and HAD to share
Mwah

I have that saying in a stamp! I actually paired it with one of your beach girls..I can’t remember her name offhand, but she is laying front down on a towel in a bikini (she comes with a saying about when you don’t have any time for a break, that’s when you need it most). Anyway, they look so cute together in a card and perfect for me (because I chunky dunk! LOL!!)
Loved reading about your vac. your Picassoish pic was fab!!!..can I have it??? Pics of the kiddies were deeeeeelish…miss those kiddies so much…glad a “good time was had by all”!!!! <3 <3 <3
Love the Lobster story! Growing up on a beef farm we wondered as kids why dad wouldn’t let us give pet names to the cows, we learned pretty quick that it’s really tough to eat something that you have given a name to!
So this is just a fab story to me! Sometimes kids just have to learn by the “real experience” way! LOL! I’ve never been able to eat lobster, my parents brought them home live from N S once and my sisters and I wanted to keep them as pets in the bath tub! We had trouble watching them boil on the pot on the stove!!
Beautiful art work on the beach Em!
Looks like you had a great time! I do know what it’s like to feel like you belong somewhere. Nice to hear – it’s a great feeling. Love the pictures. Welcome back boss!! 😉
Oh my Em!! You went to my most fav place on earth Ogunquit!! I love love it there and you ate at my fav Barnacle Billy’s!! I have been going there since I was 6 and I am way older now!! I was there in June! What a great trip you all had! Boston rocks too! I grew up there but have since moved south!
Em, love the pictures, looks like you guys had a fantastic time. Great lobster story – LOL! I love the sound of Perkins Cove, it sounds so ‘quaint’. It’s great to get away, but always nice to get home – right?
