It’s Thursday, and that means a fantastic step by step tutorial from our amazing Sandiebella. Woohoo! She has gone all out today, with a fun card fold featuring some of our ODDBALL OZ rubber stamps. Read onto see how you can recreate it.

Oddball Oz Miura Ori Birthday Card

Supplies:

Oddball Oz Dorothy and Toto

Oz Sentiment Set
Designer paper
Scoring board and bone folder
Pencil and ruler
Embellishments

How to:

Cut a piece of card measuring 12″ x 6″ and follow the template below. Dotted lines represent score lines.

Once all the scoring is done, fold and burnish the vertical score lines, both ways. Then mountain fold the diagonal score lines on the top left, and valley fold the diagonal lines on the bottom right.

Fold in on the diagonal folds and burnish all the score lines.

Cut another piece of card measuring 8″ x 6″ and score at 4″ on the 8″ side. Fold in half and burnish the score line. Open back up and measure down 2-1/8″ on the left side, mark with a pencil. Cut diagonally from the centre score line to the pencil mark.

Cut 2 pieces of paper measuring 3″ x 3-7/8″ and adhere on the bottom of each panel.

Fold up the large card panel again and apply adhesive to the back. Adhere this to the right side of the 8″ x 6″ piece, lining the 8″ score line of the big piece with the 4″ score line on the smaller piece.

Apply adhesive to the diamond shaped panel and fold the other half of the 8″ x 6″  piece over to adhere it.

Open the card up and it should look like this.

Cut three pieces of paper measuring 3-7/8″ wide x 5.75″ tall. Use the card base to mark the diagonal lines for cutting. Adhere all the paper down, using a contrasting piece for the centre panel.

Stamp all of the images onto white card, colour and fussy cut around the outlines.

Cut two stitched ovals and one stitched circle from white card. Cut paper panels from the same dies and trim away the stitching. This will leave a white border all around the paper when adhered to the card ovals.

Adhere ovals and circle to the card base using foam tape, then adhere the images using either glue or foam tape. Foam tape on all the images will make the card quite bulky.

Stamp the sentiment onto a strip of card and adhere across the card front.
