Sunday with Tamibella – Oddball Rosie Calendar

Hi!
Tamara here with you today. First let me wish you all a happy, healthy and creative New Year 2023! I’m kicking it off with a new year’s calendar. I haven’t made any in the last few years but I really like how this one turned out.

For the base I used a few layers of heavy cardstock and just glued them together. On the top I used my disc punch and added clear disc with glitter (of course). I made a few dividers out of design paper and added some extra sheets of striped paper inside. I can always add more pages/dividers in case I need them, also photo sleeves, envelopes … I decorated the front with ODDBALL ROSIE and her powerful sentiment “You can do it!”. I think it’s perfect for the calendar, LOL. I also added a small calendar.

Image was stamped with Archival ink – Jet black on 300 g HP watercolour paper (Langton) and then coloured up using Distress ink pads. Before adding it to the calendar I fussy cut it.

Distress inks used:
skin: vintage photo
cheeks: worn lipstick
hair, shoes: antique linen, walnut stain
outfit: pumice stone, black soot
hair bow: victorian velvet

Hugs, t.

  1. This calendar is really cute… I love that stamp (I have it too), and you’re right, it is perfect for this calendar. I love the papers and colors you chose too.
Have you ever done a tutorial on it or is there a more detailed page-by-page preview? I’d love to make one myself.

  2. Such a wonderful idea, beautifully made. Does each month have a young lady & message to go with the month plan ? You’ve actually given me a great idea with this as a basic model idea.X Happy New Year to all Belles x
