it’s THURSDAY with SANDIEBELLA!

Hiya sistahs, happy Thursday-with-Sandiebella!
Today Sandiebella teaches us how to make a beautiful SPANNER CARD  featuring our CURVY GIRL WITH A SIGN rubber stamp

Supplies:
A4 Card
Designer paper (Piatek Trzynastego – Spring)
Acetate
Stitched Tags Dies
Embellishments
How to:
Stamp Curvy Girl with a Sign on to white card, colour using your preferred medium and fussy cut around the outline.
Set the image aside to work on the card base.

Take a sheet of A4 card and cut on the short side at 5-7/8″. Fold in half on the long side to make a square base.

Cut a piece of acetate measuring 1.25″ x 5-7/8″

On the card front, cut at 1.25″ in from each side, up to the centre fold.

Open up the 2 outer sections as shown.

Apply double sided tape on each end of the 1.25″ sections and adhere the strip of acetate down, creating a bridge.

Layering Panels:
Cut four pieces of grey card measuring 5.75″ x 1-1/8″ and one piece measuring 3.25″ x 5.75″

Cut four pieces of paper measuring 5-5/8″ x 1″ and one piece measuring 3-1/8″ x 5-5/8″

Adhere the panels on each of the 1.25″ sections (outside and inside) and on the front centre panel.

Cut two large stitched tags, one from card and one from paper. Trim the paper one down, just inside the stitches, to and adhere to the card tag. Thread twine through the hole.

Adhere the tag flat to the centre panel and then, using foam tape, adhere Curvy Girl to the tag.

For the inside of the card cut one piece of grey card measuring 5.75″ square, two pieces of paper measuring 1″ x 5-5/8″, and one piece of white card measuring 5.75″ x 3.25″. Adhere the panels to the grey card and then adhere to the inside back of the card.

Embellish using dies, cut out flowers from the designer paper, and some enamel dots.

  1. This is adorable! What a great idea! Can’t wait to try it. I have saved the acetate bands that are around the envelopes when you buy packages of envelopes and cards from the store. That looks to be about the same size.
I would love to see an oddball farmer (probably a girl one) to go with the oddball farm animal and barn set!
