Such a cute image, and with so much detail in the stamp, it works beautifully for a quick and easy card design.

Hi Elaine… absolutely love watching you ‘colour in’ … the birthday boy Stuffie was particularly mesmerising!! You are better than meditating.! You would have been asked this hundreds of times .. but where do I start with Copic Marker buying?? I have about 20 (basic.. 3 red 3 green 3 yellow & a few greys & a couple if blues) .. you seem to use 3 colours to every colour (ie: you use 3 or 4 colours for deep red… the same for purples etc) how on earth do I try to get a decent colour selection?? It might be an impossible question 0:)
Hope you had a decent Easter… with the world on shutdown!! At least we have plenty of time for colouring. Cathie (good old UK) ?
Hi Cathie! Elaine here (also in the UK). 🙂 Thank you for your lovely comments. I am working on some info for my own website with the basics on Copics – it is taking me a while, esp with the current craziness! Bear with me! Quick tip though – you don’t need to use 3 or 4 of each colour. When you’re getting started, remember that layering the same colour will increase the strength of that colour, and if you use your greys as a base for shadow areas, you can create some depth that way. There’s lots you can do with limited markers – in fact, it’s a fun way to force yourself to be creative!
Love this set. Thanks for sharing.
