Sandiebella is such a star – perfect timing for this step by step, and what a great idea!
Supplies:
For the drawer wrap (including card front), cut one piece of white card measuring 3″ x 12″. Score at 3″, 4″, 7″, 8″ and 11″
For the drawer, cut a piece of white card measuring 4 7/8″ square and score at 1″ on all four sides.
Fold and crease all the scorelines.
Create the drawer by making a basic box shape, as shown.
On the drawer wrap, adhere a piece of patterned paper, measuring 7/8″ x 2 7/8″, between the 3″ and 4″ scorelines, and between the 7″ and 8″ scorelines.
Apply adhesive to the outside of the 1″ section at the end.
Remove the tape liner and adhere the end 1″ to the inside, between the 3″ and 4″ scorelines. This creates the drawer wrap with card front.
Cut two pieces of card measuring 2.75″ x 2.75″, one for the inside of the card and one for the front of the card. Cut one piece of patterned paper measuring 2 5/8″ x 2 5/8″ for the card front.
Adhere a strip of patterned paper, measuring 2.75″ x 7/8″ to both the front and back of the drawer. There is no need to apply paper to the other two sides as they are hidden.
On the front of the drawer, punch a small hole and use a brad to make a handle.
Adhere a strip of card over the brad legs on the inside, to secure them.
Slide the drawer into the wrap to ensure a good fit.
Remove the drawer from the wrap and open the wrap flat. Stamp the sentiment on the inside of the card. Set it aside to work on the image.
Stamp Stuffy Stuffie onto white card
Colour using your desired medium.
Cut around Stuffy Stuffie removing the pillow and ground.
Cut one circle from card measuring 2.75″ and another circle from paper measuring 2.5″. Cut a selection of embellishments.
Adhere the circles together and then adhere them to the front of the card.
Layer on the embellishments and Stuffy Stuffie
Add embellishments to the inside as desired.
Insert some tissues, hot lemon drinks, etc, close the drawer and you have the cutest gift to brighten someone’s day.
