Unfortunately our fantastic Sandiebella had to cave and admit she can’t do all of the things this week! She’s up to her eyeballs in assignments etc, so I’m afraid you’re stuck with me, Elaineabella, today! Sandie should be back with another of her awesome tutorials next week.
To fill in today, here’s my latest colouring video for the new release!
As many of you will know, I colour the product images for the website/packaging and also film the process as I go so you can have plenty of colouring inspiration for tackling the stamps when they arrive on your craft desks! After each release I edit and upload the videos on a regular basis until they are all up (still working on some from the last release, because moving house in December threw me out completely).
You can view the videos grouped in playlists by release on my Marker Geek YouTube Channel. If you subscribe while you’re there, you can keep up with the videos as they are uploaded. I’ve also got some extra fun on the way…
NOTE: I list the Copic markers used in groups, because when I’m editing so many videos it is just faster and easier. For those of you that feel you need to know exactly which marker I use at each stage, just bear in mind that I tend to work by mapping out where I want my darkest areas to be using my lightest marker, then I go over that with the darkest marker, blend out with the medium shade, then the lightest shade, repeating the last few steps till I’m happy. This isn’t a hard and fast rule, but it is what I typically do.
Here’s the card I created with Edna Loves to Sweep for the release previews.

I really love Edna. She’s the best!
This stamp is so cute and reminds me of my sister. She dressed up like this, as a maid one year for Halloween. I think she even had the feather duster! Hey, she was Edna before Edna was Edna! LOL This was probably in the 90’s when she dressed up. It also reminds me of me because I don’t like housework so the sentiment is perfect!
What a cute card! I love Edna, and that sentiment is so cute! 🙂
