it’s WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS WITH Michelle Short AKA the CARD GROTTO!

Hello there, Michelle here and I am delighted to be sharing another card with you today. My card uses the adorable Especially For You Petunia stamp set. I just love Petunia! She is always so happy! 🙂

I started off by stamping Petunia on to a circle of cardstock that I cut using a stitched circle die. The image was then coloured using Copic Markers, adding in a little blue for sky. I took the sentiment from the Kitty & Mousie set and with a bit of masking, I stamped the ‘happy’ and ‘birthday’ on to a piece of black cardstock with Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. The sentiments were then cut in to strips.

I took a piece of patterned paper and cut this using a pierced square die. This was added to a white 5.25” x 5.25” card base with tape runner. I then added the image circle on top with foam tape, as well as the sentiment pieces. I love combing different sets and Stamping Bella sets go so well together.
