Spotlight On: THE LITTLES Part 1

It’s Spotlight Tuesday time again! One of my favourite days of the week. Time to spread more of that Stamping Bella love around!

Stamping Bella Spotlight On The Littles Part 1

The Littles:

As you may know, the Summer 2017 Release included some awesome new characters – THE LITTLES – these cuties come in sets designed to let you go wild and create all sorts of scenes and other fun card/project designs. I’m already seeing some awesome cards popping up online with these – make sure you share with us on Facebook or Instagram (or link up your blog posts in the comments below) so we can see how much fun you’re having with them! If you’d like to see any of your cards featured in my Spotted On Sunday posts make sure you tag them with #SpotThisStampingBella .

The design team have had lots of fun with these little characters, creating some amazing cards (speaking for myself, there are a few more in the works as I type, because I just cannot resist). Let’s take a look at some!

ICE CREAM & LEMONADE LITTLES STAMP SET (coordinating die set also available)

Note – most of the cards also show stamps from the new Summer Sentiment Set.

Just look at Sandie’s adorable card. *sigh* As you can see, the characters are small, but not too small! They have less detail than most Stamping Bella images, which means they are great for practicing your colouring, and adding your own details too.

Jenny created this adorable scene by pairing the Ice Cream and Lemonade Littles stamp set with the new Beach Backdrop stamp and a shell from Littles Sandcastle Set. Love how interchangeable these sets are – mix and match them for endless possibilities. The coordinating die sets are also a huge help, saving time on fussy cutting so you can play with arranging scenes. *grin*

I paired the little girl from the Icecream and Lemonade set with the adorable Littles Pinwheel set, and the Summer Backdrop stamp. That panda…Oh my.

This card from Sandie shows that you don’t have to create a scene to have fun with these sets – use the elements to create a cute card with minimal fuss! Love it!

LITTLES SURFER STAMP SET (coordinating die set also available)

Can you tell Sandie was having fun with The Littles? 😉 I think this is my favourite of her cards – the way the little scene is framed… Perfect! You don’t have to create big, complicated scenes, simple works brilliantly on a card design like this.

You might also guess that I have been having some serious fun with these sets…ahem! They do seem to encourage a playful vibe. I mixed the Surfer Littles set with Palm Tree Littles set and the Beach Backdrop to create this scene. That bikini-clad cat? Cannot…

I’m working on getting colouring videos uploaded for all the Littles sets. So far I have one uploaded for this stamp set, so here you go!

Surfer Littles Copic Colouring Video:

Watch me colouring the Surfer Littles set in the video below or in HD over on YouTube.

All Copic Marker details are included in the video.

You can also see this stamp set in my recent post Marker Geek Monday – Prismacolor Skin Combos featuring Surfer Littles.

Just looking at these cards I’m bursting with more ideas…might have to hit my craft desk for an hour or two and see what happens!
