LOL! Today we had a great day in Bellaland. I have been TERRIFIED of my new JANOME SEW MINI sewing machine which arrived approximately 7.5 weeks ago. It’s been in the box ever since. Today was the day I was FORCED by Denabella to open it.. and it was great timing because our wonderful and talented Diane Losier came in to work and she guided me through it.. (Hopefully she will come in whenever I need to change the thread or bobbin thingy or whatever you call it..LOL).. So I had to run out and buy thread and i came back and practiced a little and sewed a little tag on the following layout! I WAS SOOO EXCITED!! I am so in love with this little machine that I think I wanna buy 4 of them..LOL. I also took out my XYRON 250 and fell in love with THAT all over again (note to self, buy one in every size.. am I NUTS or what?). Oh.. ANOTHER thing I am in love with.. and I mean AM IN LOVE with.. and I really mean AM IN LOVE WITH is a product called HAPPY TAPE. I LOVE this product. I actually ordered EVERY SINGLE COLOR for myself.. of course to test it out before I can sell it to my loyal and faithful customers.. (why couldn’t I buy ONE roll to test out is beyond me…).. in any event I AM SO THRILLED that I bought this tape because it is WONDERFUL… they come both SHEER and OPAQUE.. they are easily “tearable” not to be confused with “TERRIBLE”.. and they come in a KAJILLION colors. I will be carrying this product in the next couple of weeks as it totally passed BELLA APPROVAL! I use it in the place of ribbon, I use it on my packaging, envelopes, binders, agendas.. OMG.. the ideas are endless!!

I LOVE the tape, can’t wait till you get it in store :). And I don’t think it is wrong to love inanimate objects, I just love my sewing machine. The stitching looks great for your first time and if it was straight it wouldn’t have character :).

I would love to try this new Happy Tape. Looks really great. Also Em, I have a small sewing machine that I bought just for sewing on cardstock & paper. It has been in the box ever since I got it – over a year ago. I guess I should dig it out & use it, right?

I love your layout. No one said that the sewing had to be straight. That’s what makes everything unique. I have been searching fo this Janome Sew Mini. Where did you get it?
Well you sound exactly like me! I brought a mini sewing machine maybe 6 mths ago and it too is still in the box. i dont want to use my quilting maching for scrapping but i do not really want the hassle of using a sewing machine on pages either. maybe i will give it a go on the weekend?????
Em, I have had mine for probably two years and haven’t stitch with it the first time! LOL!!! Good for you…glad to see you doing something with the Niagara Falls pictures. Love ya sistah
Beautiful Em. Simple and Clean looking layout. I love just one picture on the layout, it says how important this event was. I love sewing on my cards, it is so much fun. Great first attempt.
