Stamp It Saturday: Fall 2017 Littles & Little Bits Comparison

Elaineabella here with your latest Stamp It Saturday installment, coming to you slightly late this week… I still haven’t managed to catch up with myself following the excitement of the release peeks and release! Better late than never though, right?

Today I thought it would be useful to take a closer look at the stamps themselves, so you can see how the new LITTLES and LITTLE BITS differ and work together. I’ve also got a new colouring video for you showing how I coloured one of the stamp sets.

Stamp It Saturday: Littles & Little Bits Comparison (with colouring video)

Littles vs Little Bits

The adorable “Littles” range has been expanded in this release, to include both pre-made scenes and sets with lots of separate elements that you can use to create your own scenes. They all have coordinating dies available so that you can play with arranging die cut images or mask and stamp one-layer scenes, or both!

THE LITTLES are now how we refer to the little pre-made scenes. LITTLE BITS refers to the sets of separate images. Grab one or the other, depending on your preference, or get both and have all your options open!

There are some differences between the pre-made scenes and the images in the sets in terms of sizing. In this post I’m going to show you all of the Halloween images in this range, so you can see exactly what differences are. Make sure you stay with me till the end for a new colouring video too!

First up, the amazing Littles Haunted House Scene and the Little Bits Haunted House. As you can see, the complete scene includes a separate bat stamp and the scene incorporates the cute Witch, Frankie and Mummy characters you can find in some other sets, sized to fit perfectly with the house and create a scene.

The Littles Haunted House Scene is approx 3.5″ x 3″ (w x h) and the Little Bits Haunted House is approx 3″ x 3″. Both stamps have coordinating Cut It Out dies available.

Littles Haunted House Scene Card:

There is also a separate Little Bits Haunted House Outdoor Decor stamp set available with some handy scene elements for enhancing your cards! As you can see, this set includes the same bat you can find in the Littles Haunted House Scene set, but sized a little bigger. Again, there is a coordinating Cut It Out die set available for the Outdoor Decor set.

For comparison, the bat in the Haunted House scene set is approx 1″ across (wing tip to wing tip) and the bat in the Outdoor Decor set is approx 1.25″ across.

Other sets available are the adorable Littles Frankie, Witchy & Mummy stamp, Little Bits Mummy, Frankie & Ghosty stamp set, Little Bits Little Witchies stamp set, Littles Pumpkin with a Witchy on Top and Littles The Mummy & The Tombstone.

Creating a Scene!

Below are the results of a quick play session with the stamps, doing a little masking and stamping to start creating a fun Halloween scene using some of the Littles and Little Bits together.

So much fun to be had! I’m looking forward to finding the time to colour my scene!

  1. I wish I did more with Halloween stamps but I don’t. These houses are cute though and I like cute in Halloween more then blood and guts and gore and scary. I remember a mom putting on a gross disgusting halloween mask holding her child in her hands. The mask dripped blood if you wanted it to but it was really gross. When her child saw it she let out a scream and was crying. The mom was laughing. Way to go mom.
    Thanks also for the video’s.
I’m just patiently waiting for my mailman to deliver my goodies from you. I can’t wait!
