Spotlight Tuesday time! I love doing this feature, it always gets me feeling all creative, hope it works for you too!

Stamping Bella Spotlight On Succulent and Cacti Stamps

Succulents & Cacti at Stamping Bella

I may have mentioned during the last release that I have a bit of a thing for succulents. This may be because I do not have any natural gardening talents… I also love cacti, but I don’t like being spiked, so I stick to looking at pictures of those! Anyway, since we now have some fantastic succulent and cacti themed stamps at Stamping Bella, I thought we should take a look at them and pull together all the inspiration from the babes. Let’s do it!

Clearly we have to start with…

Tiny Townie Susie the Succulent (coordinating Cut it Out die also available)

I may be revealing a little too much of my quirkiness here, but I do enjoy colouring terracotta pots. Yeah…it’s the little things!

Succulent Chicks stamp set (coordinating Cut it Out die set also available)

Those chicks! Enduring favourites, for sure. The chicks are all separate stamps, as are the fallen leaves and sentiment, perfect for mixing it up and creating scenes or doing whatever you please!

Cacti stamp set (coordinating Cut it Out die set also available)

This stamp almost convinced me to give cacti another go and allow a few into my home. Almost. I visited the garden centre and reconsidered…added some more succulents instead, far less painful! The rubber versions are completely harmless though! Again, these cacti are all separate stamps for superb stamping versatility! *grin*

Squidgy Cactus stamp set (coordinating Cut it Out die set also available)

Love this set of cacti. Of course they are designed to work perfectly with Squidgy Cowboy and Squidgy Cowgirl so you can create your own Wild Wild West scenes. They work beautifully on their own too though.

How’s that for succulent inspiration? Prickling your creativity?! Yeah, that was terrible, sorry!

I woke up early and am now going back to bed but not before I comment on this.
We used to have a plant table near our picture window and I’m sure we had some succulents on it. I too don’t like the thorny part but I like some of the plants, especially when they sprouted flowers. I usually have a green thumb but today its yellow! LOL I was good at growing things and I usually have a veggie garden on the side of our house but it’s been raining a lot so I haven’t done anything outside yet.
I love Susie and her succulent. She’s so cute and I love you’re coloring! Those chicks? I just want to hug them they are so cute!
Great job of coloring and card making. One last thing before I go back to bed. I had a friend who had 2 plants. One was named Cack and one was named Tus. Get it? Oh yeah, and I collect unusually shaped pens. When I worked in retail and people had to sign things, they always took my regular Bic pens. When I got unusual pens, they knew it was mine. I have a cacti pen that is yellow. Off to bed!
