Spotlight On: Halloween at Stamping Bella

Hey folks! Time for another spotlight feature with me, Elaineabella! This week I thought we should take a quick look at the fantastic and spooktacular images available at Stamping Bella, since we’re heading towards Halloween. I’d also like to take this opportunity to point out that all things wonderfully witchy don’t have to be relegated to this occasion – I for one love receiving and using bewitching and delightfully frightful images at any time of year. 😉 Click through to join me for some faBOOlous fun!

Halloween Rubber Stamps at Stamping Bella:

While I say “Halloween” rubber stamps, I do think that many of these could be used year round, especially with a little creative trimming/masking. I love finding ways to get the most out of an image, after all, they are meant to be stamped and loved and if we can do that year-round, all the better!

You will find all the Halloween themed stamps in the Holiday section on the website, amongst all the Christmas and other festive fun.

Let’s take a look at some of my personal favourites!

First up, one of our latest releases – Set of Pumpkins rubber stamp set – these are perfect for using on their own, all together, with other stamps to create a scene, or as additional embellishments on your card. There is a coordinating Cut it Out Die set for these, which makes it really easy!

Here are the cards I created for the release previews.

I’m thinking next time I use the pumpkins, I may well have to mask them and create a little scene with my favourite…

Tiny Townie Willow the Witch rubber stamp set.

I know, I’ve featured her in the spotlight before, but I couldn’t very well leave her out today, now could I? Plus, she’s awesome, so there. 😉

I could feature those two cards from Stephabella and Micheleabella every week, love them so much! 😉

This year, Willow convinced her big sister to go trick or treating!

Uptown Girl Kitty loves Halloween rubber stamp.

Like Willow and the set of pumpkins, Kitty also has a coordinating Cut it Out die set. So if you’re not a fan of masking scenes, you’ve got a fun and easy option to die cut the images and create a scene that way! NON-HALLOWEEN USE: I think she would make a fun image to use year round – either crop the image to hide the Jack O’ Lantern, mask it off when stamping or carefully trim it off.

You can of course, just use her as she is and on her own too, like these gorgeous cards from the Babes:

Another favourite of mine is the sweet Halloween Cat rubber stamp by Christine Grove.

I think he would make a fun seasonal, witchy birthday card too, don’t you? If you want to see how I created a really simple glow around the lantern on my card below, check out this blog post: Halloween Cat Step by Step colouring with Copic Markers.

A serious oldie but goodie, and definite all-rounder is Uptown Girl Claudia has a Candy.

You can make this girl work for Christmas, Halloween, Birthdays, Valentines, you name it. It’s all in how you colour her! Again – she would be great masked in a scene with Tiny Townie Willow and new Uptown Girl Kitty, and/or with the Set of Pumpkins. She’d also work equally well with some of the new Christmas stamps – Santa Chick and his Helpers and the Gingerbread Chicks. 😉

See? It’s all in the colour scheme – total multi-occasion stamp!

  1. Oh thanks for sharing these! I’ve never thought about using some of the images other than the holidays they represent. I just might have to give this a try. Thanks again for sharing! 🙂

I love all the cards and all the colors. You did some amazing cards everyone. I really like your Halloween stamps. I am a fan of Halloween but not the gross, disgusting, scary part though. I usually wear a dance costume to pass out candy as I have plenty. I love seeing the kids all dressed up and some are so polite that they even say Thank You. One year a few kids said “God Bless You.” That surprised me! I don’t like gross Halloween stamps or creepy ones but yours are just right!

Your entire team creates some of the most amazing cards. It helps, of course, that the stamp sets are all out-of-this-world, drop dead, incredibly gorgeous, wonderful, over-the-top amazing. Please, please, please keep doing all of this wonderfulness. It’s so inspiring. Thank you all so much!!!
