I thought that, as many of us are sitting here a little dazed at how quickly the 25th is hurtling towards us, today would be a great day to do a little “Spotlight On 2016” featuring some of my favourite Stamping Bella releases from the year and some inspiration to go with them.

Before I do that, I’d like to wish those of you that celebrate a very Happy Christmas, and offer all of you my very best wishes for a fantastic start to 2017. For those of you going through tough times, I hope things improve for you soon, and that you find a little peace for yourselves.

2016 with Stamping Bella

I’m a little biased really, but every year is a good stamping year with Stamping Bella. 😉 2016 just happens to have been particularly good.

We started things off in February with an utterly delicious release that included our now beloved EDNA.

I love this stamp in particular. That cupcake is such fun to colour. Here are some gorgeous cards from the Babes, showing it off beautifully.

February 2016 also delivered more of my favourite COOL CHICKS! You know I have a real soft spot for these little mischief makers.

Stamp: Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Peyton loves to Pretend stamp set (coordinating die set also available)

I know, I’ve raved about this stamp before. I don’t care. It’s awesome. 😉 A hilarious combination of Tiny Townie and chicks. What more do you want? Here are some cards showing just how brilliant it is:

A little later in the year we had a really exciting release, celebrating TEN YEARS of Stamping Bella. I really loved taking a little nostalgia trip as Emily revised some of the original “BELLAS” and brought us BELLAS V2.0. Here’s a look at two of my favourites:

That dress… keep it simple or really go to town, either way it looks great. In fact, I’m reminded of a little plan I had for this one, so I may just have to ink her up and work on something to share with you in the New Year. 😉

Just love them. The one with the monocle gets me every time. I featured these guys in my Marker Geek Monday Paper Choices for Coloured Pencil post.

And finally, a look at the amazing Holiday 2016 release. Picking favourites from this one is particularly tough, really I could just feature them all. 😉 Stamping Bella holiday releases always end up being my very favourites. I will be restrained though and pick just three. 😉

We added to the BELLAS V2.0 collection with a stunning festive Bella.

I think Christmas Bug ended up being on most people’s favourites list this year. Such a fun, nostalgic image.

Stamp: Stamping Bella Rudolph the Skating Reindeer stamp set (coordinating die set also available).

All three of the Rudolph stamps released are fantastic, but this one with the gangly legs trying to skate? I cannot.

I am so tempted to make this post even longer, but I will spare you! Suffice to say, this has been another fantastic year with Stamping Bella and we are all very much looking forward to making 2017 EVEN BETTER!
