Happy New Year! Elaineabella here with the very first Marker Geek Monday of 2018. I’m easing into the new year gently, after the hectic rush of December and all that entailed for me! I hope you had a wonderful festive season.

For this first post of the year, I’m sharing my colouring video for one of the gorgeous Zodiac Girls released in early December. These images have been among my favourites to colour, and I hope the colouring videos will inspire you to create with them.

Gorgeous Capricorn has a fantastic dress, perfect for practicing how to create pleats and folds, or for paper piecing, or colouring more simply. In the video below you will see how I created the folds in her skirt. The video has only been sped up slightly at 1.25x speed so you can get a really good look at exactly how I coloured her.
