Hiya sistahs,
Please welcome Jenny Dix as our guest designer this month.. I first spotted Jenny’s amazing work on my Instagram feed and in our FB sistahood group! Her shaker cards give me shaker envy.. My brain cannot even process how to make one LOL.. that and coloring PLEATS.. I have issues LOL
Enough about me..
let’s meet JENNY!
Hi its Jennifer here for my First Guest post for Stamping Bella
and I am Soooooooo Excited. Those that know me know I love to
create Shaker Cards and I looooove using Stamping Bella’s.
OMG what a combination.
So I have used the Fun loving EDNA LOVES CHOCOLATE rubber stamp (coordinating “CUT IT OUT” die available as well as a bundle where you save 15%), coloured her up with copics and then found this SSS Floating Hearts Craft Die which goes perfectly with her heart theme.
I Created a colourful Distress Ink background, and sprayed it with Perfect Pearls. You can never have too
much sparkle!
I glued some acetate to the die cut, ran 3M tape around it, and filled it with
matching coloured sequins . I then glued the Distress background to it.
I also layered two coloured colours under it.
Now to layer up a couple of Spellbinders Lace Hearts and to pop Edna on top
Then to finish her of I added a MICA Love chipboard
She sure looks like she is enjoying those Choccies!
See you all next week ?
So stinkin’ Adorable…love ? this!
Such a bright and fun card!
Wow what fun! Fabulous colour and sparkle!
OMGosh this is gorg!! I ADORE shaker cards but struggle making them. Love the Heart die you used and the pictures explaining each step…beautiful!
Cutest card ever!
Wow! What a beautiful card! 🙂
I have never made a shaker card before and I really, really, want to . I’d love to make a card like this one but I don’t think I can do it without a die cutter. However, I’m thinking I don’t need a die cutter to make a regular shaker card minus the die cuts. I love how sparkly the card is. You can never have to many sparkles in my humble opinion. I love this card!
