INSPIRATION

I had to share.

I fell in love with Hy and I hope you do too.  He reminds me of my late grandfather in law papa Issie.  RIP.

I hope to grow up and have his soul and his passion.. his kindness and his intensity in his craft.  I just love the 94.5 year old Hy.

I got this video from Pam Garrison who got it from Mary Ann Moss.  And if you have not yet visited their blogs, I HIGHLY suggest you do!

mwah to da sistahs who will “get old” with me.

This made me happy to see someone of that age so full of life so enthusiastic about what they are doing and so happy doing it…bless him …it also brought a tear to my eye …it’s so sweet x

Ohhh my dear Bella – thank you SO much for posting this. I am sitting here in tears right now. My Dad, who was a master woodworker is now partially blind and has had to give up his craft. The loss has been depressing for him. He used to do the most amazing sketches as well. (I have some of them and will show you sometime.) I recently bought him a new sketch pad and pencils to encourage him to “do what he can”. This reminds me to keep encouraging him. Love you, Pinky Dinky Doo

Seriously Em – could you have least warned us to get a tissue ready first?! Loved this, especially when he tells his friend “I haven’t got time to tell you, ’cause I’m working”. And he’s right, age isn’t important, it’s what you’re doing with your life 🙂 Mwah.
