DH Ryan asking me “how many of this do you have?”, “did I see another one of THESE somewhere?”, umm “what’s this?”, ” i think we should throw this out, no?”, “there’s a price tag on this, ARE YOU ON CRACK?” LOLOL. “ANOTHER FLOWER EMILY? come ON!”.. ok, maybe I am exaggerating a bit but we are under demolition today and tomorrow and confined in between 4 tight walls.. you do the math. Ryan offered to take a coupla days off work to help organize this ahem, office.. which-looks-like-a-cow-made-a-poo-poo-in-it (LOL at the POO POO.. never say that). It is a DISASTER and I am trying to fill orders but feel so guilty hearing him grunt…LOL! He is an amazing hub and so cute to boot.. a little anal (total opposite of this walking disaster), and VERY ORGANIZED. hmph. Yes, I am officially jealous.
Anyhow, I have a few things to say. First and foremost, a big gigunguh ((((HUG))))) to all my sistahs out there.. you are amazing and your thoughts are all read.. your comments are all read with a fine toothed comb and appreciated. Ok, mushy mush outta the way.. I wanted to thank the lurkers for stopping by and saying hello! I am so thankful and THIRD (yucky part).. because of this demolition there has been a delay on orders.. I am still at the 5-7 day business day mark but I want to finish them now! So I will be burning the midnight oil.. if anyone wants to come visit, I will be here! LOL. Also, if you have a rush order (max 1 person-LOL), please let me know and I will try my best to fulfill it.. (YA I SAID 1).

You poor thing..I think it is wonderful that your DH is helping, but he is quickly discovering where all of your funds seem to disappear to…Stamping! We all seem to fall victim to this, we get one thing and then we need more, and more, and even more to feed our hunger 😉 Hopefully you will survive the demo and the organization. I try to keep my things organized enough so that it is not questioned, what they don’t know can’t hurt them….LOL
Organised? What is this word “organised” that you keep using? It’s not a concept I’m familiar with.
You may be stressed now but just keep reminding yourself how great your office will look when it is all done! It will be Bella-riffic! Yes I am jealous. 😉
Good Luck. I understand the pain of construction all to well. Adding to that the scrutiny of a well meaning (all be it cute) man that just doesn;t understant the need for the same flower in 8 different colors. I mean my dh has like 30 screwdrivers~what is the big difference~LOL!
I hope it all comes out smoothly. Will we get pics when it is done???
Really, Em, use your feminine wiles and give DH a big smackeroo on the lips and he won’t see a thing to do with stamping! Remember, a man’s brain can’t think about two things at the same time! While you’re a-smoochin, you can be mentally organizing things the way you like it! Just some advice from a wife who needs to distract HER hubby from seeing everything she buys.
That same “poo-poo” cow was in my home last January. I did a stamp room make-over as well. What a job, but SO worth it!
Let me tell ya, once he (the cow…not Ryan) leaves your “pasture” will be green…..with LOTS of flowers. So warn dear Ryan, when the grass is manicured, there is ALWAYS room for more flowers.
You will love it when its done. Yes, the grass is greener on the other side. 🙂

That’s so funny – my DH has learned to say anything anymore. We we moved from Colorado to Missouri my stamping stuff all fit into one market basket. When we moved from Missouri to West Virginia that market basket grew into 5 storage tubs. When we were packing and I saw all this I asked (the rhetorical question) *when did this happen?* He just looked at me with this quirky smile. Now that I a quarter of the garage which is lovingly my craft room I think I’ve lost my mind! Then I start stamping in the quiet of the night and thank God for my family and my DH for just giving me a quirky smile and lets me enjoy my hobby.
Oops – I just read my post… it’s supposed to say he’s learned NOT to say anything anymore. Good grief – I need to not be commenting when I’ve not been feeling well and am very tired. But I think you get the picture.
Take deep breaths…think ZEN-like thoughts…foresee a beautiful office where you can find everything in under ten seconds without starting an avalanche because you need something from the bottom of a pile (yeah, I said pile *LOL*) and you’ll be okay :D! Compliments to your DH for doing this for you, and good luck filling all the orders, but take a break for some chocolate every once in a while 😉

Em you’re so lucky! My fiance ran screaming in the opposite direction when it came time to turn my back bedroom into my stamp room! If he’s going to take time off from work (RARE) he’ll be on a beach sipping margaritas somewhere while I do all the grunting !!
I am coming out of “lurker” mode to thank thank THANK YOU !!! I just adore Bella and my first shipment is on it’s way! I have wanted Bella from the first second I laid eyes on here…. and my new goal in life is to own everyone one of her. LOL
