Circle Dies

Stamp and colour the images using your preferred medium. Cut out using a circle die.

Measure the bag and cut a piece of black card about 1/8″ smaller all around.

(i.e. if your bag is 4″ wide x 6″ tall, cut the black card at 3.75″ x 5.75″)

Cut a piece of kraft card slightly smaller than the black card, and the patterned paper slightly smaller than the kraft card. Glue them together to make the front panel for the bag.

Cut a larger circle than the one you used for the image, from kraft card, and adhere the image to it.

Taking your embellishments and ephemera, and without gluing anything down, postion everything as you want it.

Remove the image and glue down the layers.

Apply some foam tape to the back of the image and stick it onto the front panel.

Because the image is raise, and the lace/ribbon are raised, you need to add some foam tape just between them, to pop up the sentiment.

Adhere the sentiment

Add embellishments as desired.

Once you’ve finished with the front panel, apply double sided tape down the full length and across the top, to ensure a good bond with the bag.

Adhere the panel to the bag front. Press firmly on it to stick it well.

To finish the bag, tie some ribbon and/or trim around one of the handles.
