Happy Thursday! Our lovely Sandiebella is back with another fab card project for you to recreate, featuring one of our awesome new stamp releases and the coordinating Cut It Out die set.
Father’s Day Pocket Card
Preferred colouring medium
Step by Step:
Step 1. Score the 5.5″ x 8.25″ piece of white card at 0.5″ and 4 3/8″ on the long side.
Step 2: Flip 90 degrees and score at 0.5″
*Step 3: (please read the note at the bottom of the page before cutting) On the long side, cut away half of the 0.5″ section, and taper the edges of the other half. Taper the edges of the other 0.5″ section, as shown.
Step 4: Fold and crease the scorelines with a bone folder.
Step 5: Adhere one piece of patterned paper to the FRONT of panel.
Step 6: Take the scalloped circle die and position it so that it’s not entirely on the front panel.
Step 7: Run through your die cutting machine to make a semi-circle. You can have it deep or shallow, as desired.
Step 8: Apply double sided tape, or other strong adhesive to the 1/2″ tabs.
Step 9: Fold in both tabs adhering to the back, to make the pocket.
Step 11: Punch a hole with the crop-a-dile and add a large eyelet.
Step 12: Thread some twine though the eyelet.
Step 13: Stamp the chick onto white card and colour with your desired medium.
Step 14: Position the CUT IT OUT DIE and run through your die cutting machine.
Step 17: Adhere the circle, lining it up to the edge of the patterned paper on the front of the pocket
Step 18: Stamp the sentiment onto a strip of patterned paper or card and cut at an angle on the end. Roll through your fingers to curve up the middle.
Step 19: Turn the sentiment over, apply some foam tape to the middle and some wet glue on each end.
Step 20: Adhere the sentiment, as shown.
Step 21: Apply foam dots to the back of the image and adhere over onto the circle.
Step 22: Embellish as desired.
