Adhesive and foam tape/dots.
How to:
Stamp a selection of images and colour them up

Fussy cut the images using a precision scissors and set aside.

Cut one piece of black card measuring 10.5″ x 5.5″

Score on the long side at 2.5″, 5″, 7.5″ and 10″

Score on the short side at 3″ down to the last 2.5″ section – do not score this. The section not scored will be the back panel of the box.

(bottom part of the box is 3″ in height, and the flaps are 2.5″ in height)

Cut away the 2.5″ section of the 0.5″ tab on the end.

Cut each of the scorelines at the top (2.5″) down to the 3″ intersecting scoreline.

For the box panels:

Bottom:

3x patterned paper measuring 2.75″ x 2.25″

Spooky Tree

Take the card base and round the corners of the top flaps, including the one not scored.

Taking the card and paper for the top flaps, round the corners on the bottom of each.

Adhere all the patterned paper pieces to the orange card

With the box facing outwards, adhere the 3 bottom panels.

Fold the top flaps down over the bottom panels and adhere the rounded panels to them.

Apply double sided tape to the 0.5″ tab and glue inside to make the box shape.

Adhere the back panel pieces together.

Apply wet glue to the panel and slide carefully into the box, covering the 0.5″ tab.

Cut 2 pieces of black card measuring 3.5″ x 2.75″.

Score each one at 0.5″ and 3″

Fold and crease the scorelines, then taper each end as shown.

Apply wet glue to each of the 0.5″ sections and adhere the card into the box, centering them vertically.

Decorate by cutting the fence and adhering a piece to each of the black card bridges.

Cut a piece of the fence measuring 2 3/8″ and round the corners on the bottom.

Adhere to the front flap.

Glue the black card and paper circles together.

Adhere the circles to each of the top flaps, using 3D foam.

Adhere the images and sentiment to the box as desired.

Finish by adding die cut elements, or other embellishments.

Elaineabella – what an absolutely fabulous project. Must make this wonderful pop up box card. Thanks so much for your very clear and precise instructions. They’re always exact and easy to follow, along with the stepout photos. Great Halloween project – or change up the colors and theme for a Christmas card, etc. Thanks.
