Happy Thursday! Sandiebella has another fab card project for you to recreate, this time featuring one of our older yet still completely awesome stamp sets.

Gift Card Sandwich Box

Supplies

White card
Patterned papers
Scoring board and bone folder
Adhesive
Ribbon
Enamel dots

Step by Step:

Cut a piece of white card measuring 6 3/8″ x 7 3/8″.

Score on at 5/8″, 3 3/8″, 4″ and 6 3/4″ on the 7 3/8″ side

Flip 90 degrees and score at 5/8″ on both ends.

Fold all the score lines and crease well with a bone folder.

Cut out the middle squares at the center of both long sides.

Cut the corner square on one side, in to the 5/8″ score line, to make a tab. Tape the edges for a neater fold.

Repeat on all 4 outside squares.

Apply adhesive on the outside of all 4 tabs.

Fold the tabs in and adhere to the inside to make the top of the box.

Repeat on the other end to make the bottom of the box.

Cut a piece of white card measuring 2 5/8″ x 6″.

Score at 1/4″, 3/4″ and 1 1/4″ on both ends.

Mountain/valley fold as shown.

Apply adhesive to the underneath, on each end and across the centre panel.

Adhere into the bottom part of the box.

Cut one piece of white card measuring 5″ x 2 5/8″ and one piece of patterned paper measuring 4 7/8″ x 2 1/2″. Adhere together to make a panel for the top of the box.

For the sides you will need –

Two pieces of patterned paper  1/2″ x 5″ and two pieces 1/2″ x 2 5/8″

Adhere the all the paper to the box top

Stamp the image onto white card and colour with your desired medium.

Mat the image onto a piece of white card

Adhere to the top of the box.

For the ribbon, apply a thin strip of double sided tape on both sides and the front of the box top.

Remove the backing and stick the ribbon down onto the tape.

Make a bow and stick on the front.

Pop the gift card into the centre panel inside the box, using a little piece of double sided tape to hold in place.
