DT Thursday time! Sandie has another fab make for us to follow along with today.
Twinchie Shaker Card
1/16″ double sided tape
Score the 2″ x 4″ piece on the long side at 2″ to make the card base. Set aside.
Using a 1.75″ square die, cut away the centre of both 2″ squares.
Cut a piece of acetate so that it is slightly smaller than the square frame, approx 1 7/8″ square.
Apply double sided tape to the back of one of the square frames and stick the acetate to it.
Apply double sided tape to the front of the other square frame and sandwich the acetate between them.
Stamp and cut the image out to fit inside the frame.
Colour using your desired medium.
Retrieve the 2″ x 2″ card base and adhere the image to the front.
Taking the acetate front, apply 3D foam on all four sides. If a deeper shaker is needed, the foam tape can be doubled up.
Lay the card base flat and put some shaker mix on it.
Adhere the acetate frame to the front of the card, ensuring all the shaker mix is clear of the sides.
